It took me until season two to realize just how much Fire Country had turned up the heat.

Now, with the season two finale still fresh in my mind, I already know I’ll be watching the season three premiere without a single distraction.
This CBS drama is a mix of Chicago Fire, Grey’s Anatomy, and 9-1-1, blending epic rescue missions with the messy, dramatic dynamics of its characters. Is it a little soapy at times? Sure. But instead of the usual inspirational ballads, this show sets its tone with country music—and it works.
I can’t get enough of Billy Burke, who is pitch-perfect as Cal Fire Battalion Chief Vince Leone. But the heart of the show for me has been the turbulent relationship between Bode and Gabriela. Their story has pulled me in from the start, and with Gabriela at the altar (to someone who isn’t Bode), I can’t help but wonder: will season three finally bring them together?
And with that latest trailer bringing all the hype, my anticipation is sky-high.
You can catch all three seasons of Fire Country available on Paramount+, new season begins Friday, Oct. 17 on CBS.
