Matthew Macfadyen and Claire Foy sharing the screen? That's already enough to have my attention, and with the team behind Normal People involved, You Are Here has quickly become one of my most anticipated upcoming dramas.

Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and Claire Foy (All of Us Strangers, The Crown) will lead You Are Here, an eight-part adaptation of David Nicholls’ bestselling novel for BBC and Starz.

Written by Nicholls and directed by Normal People’s Lenny Abrahamson, the romantic drama follows strangers Michael and Marnie, who are set up by a mutual friend and end up on a life-changing walk across northern England, where an unexpected connection develops.

Filming will take place in the Lake District and around Manchester, with Element Pictures producing.

You had me at Matthew Macfadyen and Claire Foy, which alone makes this exciting, and with Nicholls and Abrahamson involved, it has strong potential to be something special.
