If you miss Juliana Aiden Martinez on Law & Order: SVU, look no further, as she'll be on another Dick Wolf series.
Deadline reported on Monday that Martienz will join as a series regular in the eighth season of FBI. No details about her character are given, but she seems to partner with Stuart Scola (John Boyd), who is still searching for a permanent partner after last fall's relationship with Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane).
Lisette Olivera was cast as a series regular last season to succeed Kane but left after a few episodes as Scola's partner. Emily Alabi was added as a recurring role playing Dani Rhodes, Scola's temporary partner. Alabi will return in the fall to finish Dani's story.
This casting news is wonderful! She was fantastic on SVU, and maybe after seeing her there, they thought she'd be great for another of their shows. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that this casting works out well for a good while.
