The Good Place & The Blacklist Get an Early Start

Image result for The Good Place NBC

Looks like The Good Place has been granted with a heavenly Season 2 launched date.

NBC has announced on Monday that the Kirsten Bell-Ted Danson comedy will kickoff the second season a week early, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 10/9c with a special one hour episode that follows immediately of the high-rated two hour season finale of America's Got Talent. Then the following week, the show will settle into it's regular day and time, Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8:30/7:30c after Superstore.

The Good Place isn't the only one starting it's season a week early, The Blacklist, which is to kick off it's fifth season on Wednesday, Oct. 4, will start a week earlier on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8/7c. It's replacing a special standalone Blind Audition episode of The Voice, which will be placed into the normal Monday-Tuesday installments.

What do you think of the early moves? I was wondering who was going to get the special after AGT season finale spot as I had The Blacklist, but The Good Place is another great choice.
