The Hunting Party (S2, Ep. 13) "Xander Wax" Season Finale

The Season 2 finale of The Hunting Party, 'Xander Wax,' is a high-concept procedural masterpiece. By dismantling its own status quo and introducing a sinister new conspiracy for the future, the show has officially leveled up. Here is my recap and review.

The Hunting Party (S2, Ep. 10-12) "Byron May"/"Dylan Miles"/"Nancy Albright"

Season 2 of The Hunting Party careens into its endgame with a run of episodes that turn every shadow into a threat and every ally into a potential weapon. From attic‑dwelling phroggers and unhinged ventriloquists to a “cured” addict driven to vampiric extremes, the show’s monsters of the week are terrifying—but it’s Colonel Lazarus’s Graduate Program, and the betrayals it exposes within the team, that prove to be the real horror. Below are my recaps and reviews of “Byron May,” “Dylan Miles,” and “Nancy Albright,” three episodes that push the series past the point of no return.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 17) "Here a Righteous Woman Comes"

They say in hospitals you’re either holding a clipboard or in a gown, but this week’s St. Denis Medical showed life seldom respects those lines. During an emotionally intense hour, the 'Welcome to Life' birthing center's opening became the scene for a health crisis and a romantic breakthrough, from Joyce’s sacrifice to a pivotal parking lot kiss. 'Here a Righteous Woman Comes' was a standout. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 16) "Experience with Human Babies"

Opening a top birthing center should be a career highlight, but at St. Denis, it’s more about professional sabotage and personal awkwardness. This week, staff faced hiring crises, high-altitude rescues, and Oregon's biggest stationery theft. From Joyce’s romantic struggles to Matt’s leap of faith, 'Experience with Human Babies' shows that surviving a day with these coworkers is tougher than bringing new life into the world. Here’s my recap and review.

One Chicago Crossover: "Reckoning"

What would you do if, mid-flight, your airplane fell silent and vanished over Lake Michigan—only for rescuers to discover nearly everyone on board dead, the cause a terrifying mystery? That haunting image is just the first shock to the system in this year’s One Chicago crossover event, "Reckoning." Every so often the Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. universe pulls out a big crossover, but this three-hour spectacle sets its sights higher than most.

The event kicked off with a chilling mystery in the air, moved into a full-blown medical crisis, and ended with a manhunt tied to a tragedy from decades ago. By the end of the night, the stakes felt bigger than they had in a while for the One Chicago franchise. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 13) "A New Best Friend"

Grab your popcorn: "A New Best Friend" earns a glowing 8.5/10 for mixing shameless workplace feuds with heart, making this one of St. Denis Medical’s funniest, most relatable episodes yet. Can your husband be friends with your most narcissistic coworker? For Alex, the answer involves a harebrained scheme and a massive order of grass seeds. Here's my recap and review of "A New Best Friend."

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep.10–12) "This Is From Joyce"/"Senior Health Fair"/Nod and Agree"

The second season of St. Denis Medical truly shows how well the show balances the hectic hospital scenes with hilarious workplace moments that sometimes get a little awkward. Episodes 10 through 12 continue this great mix, blending emotional moments, funny surprises, and some unexpectedly touching interactions between characters. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 8-9) "A Waste of Time and Marble"/"You're in His Bubble Space"

It all starts with a hospital-wide gasp as Sanderson drops to one knee right in the middle of the ER, catching everyone—especially Joyce—by surprise. This is just the first of several twists in Episodes 8 and 9, where St. Denis Medical pivots from the usual hospital hustle to dive into the staff's personal lives. The heartfelt shift adds new depth to the comedy, especially for characters like Joyce and the ever-complicated Matt and Serena. Here's my quick recap and thoughts.
