Revenge To Set: Hannibal "Apertivo"

Revenge is revenge no matter what you do with it.

This episode of "Hannibal" shows the five aspects of the characters that have been damaged by Hannibal.

With each character, we get a flashback from their event with Lecter. Like from Will it was during the season finale. As soon as he got well, he had a visitor, Fredrick, who wanted to talk and ask questions of Lecter.

Fredrick goes over with each of the others and talks to them as if they have a plan to get rid of Hannibal. He goes from Will to Jack, to Dr, Bloom and Mason, for which they started talking in the beginning of the episode.

Dr. Bloom, we come to the events right after she fell. She broke her lower spin, leaving her to walk with a leg braces and a cane. When Fredrick talked to her, she was as clam as a drugged up patient. Soon, she talks to Mason, for which he ask her about faith. She gives that she was raised but doesn't seem to carrying on.

Mason on the other hand, was a much more excitement storyline to learn. After both him and Fredrick have a face to face chat, he talks to Fred and Bloom about Lecter. He really wants Lecter killed slowly.

It's funny the way Mason talks and even mention Cordell. It just gives me a chuckle ever time he speaks.

As for Jack, we see him staying alive after the season finale and waking up with his wife holding his hand. He later decides to retire from the FBI to spend time with his dying wife. Soon, has he read, Bella breaths heavily and Jack did the one thing he had to do....make the pain go away.

It's one of the sweetest scenes as he reflects and sees Bella picking up her wedding dress and walking down the aisle, but it was just a day dream. Jack sees a letter with a flower pot. It's from Lecter and wishes his condolence.

That leaves Will, who doesn't seem to be any like them at all. Yeah, we saw Abigail sitting with him in the room where she was killed.

Soon, Will starts to put together something which turns out to be a motor for a sailboat and soon takes off looking for Hannibal.

This episode deals with the events of what happen after Fredrick was shot, Mason cutting himself, Bloom's fall, Jack's stabbing and Will's near death. Each of which wants to find Hannibal.

In this case, I think its best to say that for revenge, it's a best dish serve cold. And for await for Hannibal, it will surely be an event not to miss.

I couldn't get enough of the blood and gore in this episode. Mason and Fredrick's flashback story was the tops that I couldn't get enough of.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch "Hannibal" Thursday nights at 10/9c on NBC

Heroes are Back: Heroes Reborn

Today the first trailer of Heroes: Reborn was released.

The reboot of the groundbreaking series that was a hit back in 2005 is returned with some familiar characters along with new ones. Jack Coleman as Noah Bennet is returning.

But there's new characters from Zachary Levi as Luke Collins, Ryan Guzman as Carlos, along with Robie Kay and Rya Kihlstedt.

And don't worry there are special guest coming from Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka as Hiro.

From what the trailer shows, the world needs heroes with everything that's going on in the world. Who out there are extraordinary among us?

After watching this trailer, I'm literally can't wait to watch the premiere. I loved the original show when it aired in 2005. I'm glad that there are some familiar characters that are coming back, keeps the show intact to say the least.

Here's the trailer: Heroes: Reborn.

You can catch the season/series premiere of "Heroes: Reborn" Thursday,  September 24th at 8/7c on NBC.

NBC renews Aquarius for a Second Season

NBC has renewed David Duchovny drama "Aquarius" for a second season.

It was announce today by Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, that they have given a second season renewal for the 1960's themed drama "Aquarius" that stars Duchovny as an LAPD cop on the hunt for Charles Manson.

The series has been a critically acclaimed hit and had made TV history in May as it was the first broadcast series to be streamed in its entirely following its debut; with all 12 episodes available online for the four weeks following it's broadcast.

Salke added, "With its riveting drama and innovative release strategy, 'Aquarius' has excited the critics, hooked millions of viewers and energized out summer. It's no secret that the way people watch television is evolving, so we took a unique approach to how we delivered 'Aquarius' and it's driven some record numbers for NBC Digital and helped us reach viewers who might have otherwise overlooked a great summer drama."

"Aquarius" was the most-watched first 24 hours for a summer series premiere ever on NBC.com and the NBC app. A rise in viewership generated by "Aquarius," NBC Digital (that includes both NBC.com, the NBC app and Hulu.com) went on to log to its biggest summer weekend ever.

Social media has also seen a rise in viewership and also asking for a second season of the series.

"Beyond generating some truly impressive views totals, the network's unique release strategy with 'Aquarius' has helped us gain new insights into viewership patterns, bringing behavior and social engagement, significantly expanding our knowledge of how people are watching our shows online" said Robert Hayes, Executive Vice President of NBC Entertainment Digital.

"Aquarius" also stars Grey Damon, Emma Durmont, Gethin Anthony and Clair Holt.

Writer John McNamara ("In Plain Sight") serves as the executive producer along with Marty Adelstein ("Prison Break"), Duchovny ("The X-Files"), and Melanie Greene. The series is produced by Tomorrow Studios, a joint partnership between Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios.

Revolution is Coming: Mr. Robot "eps1.0_hellofriend.mov" Series Premiere

A revolution is coming and he's the guy who can make it happen.

The new series "Mr. Robot" premiered Wednesday night and if I had one word to say about this series so far from the pilot is amazing!

Elliot, a young, smart computer programmer, who works as a security engineer. He may look a bit strange like if you can put the characters of Dr. Temperance Brennan and Sheldon Cooper together this is the character that you could think of when watching Elliot.

He has issues with socializing with people. He doesn't have family.  But he does have some friends like Angela, his boss Gideon, his drug dealer and his therapist.

While he works as a security engineer for E Corp or Evil Corp. He becomes a hero by night by taking down pedophile at a coffee shop. He feels it's his job to protect people that is around him like his therapist, Krista.

Krista was dating a guy, Elliot tries to figure the guy out like who he is and such. Comes to find out that the guy is married and has seen seven different women.

He maybe smart, maybe a hero but not to mention that he could be crazy. Thinking that the men in black are following ( that could be true but it's from the Evil Corp).

When someone hacks into E Corp's computer system, Elliot tries to stop it and soon figures who it is. Turns out to be "Mr. Robot" (played by Christina Slater), who's tried to get his attention and bring him in to start a revolution that will help take down the Evil Corps that has made the world mad.

After his meeting with "Mr. Robot," he goes on with a mission to blame someone for the hacking. When a meeting with the CEO's, Angela was taken out of the meeting after a couple of mistakes. When Elliot didn't like that, he put the blame on to the CEO.

As soon as Elliot say it on the news, he runs out with joy but is stopped by the men in black. They take him to E. Corp's building where the new CEO Tyrell Wellick greets Elliot.

Overall this series was as I said before amazing but also it's so well written. Learning just enough of who Elliot is and what makes him so different to watch him. Rami Malek is outstanding in this role so far. I can't wait to see what comes next week.

By far this is Christian Stalter's best performance on television that I could remember and I've seen him in some bad shows. And thanks to USA Wednesday that his curse of one season only shows is over as the show got picked up for a second season.

Overall I give the pilot 9/10.

You can catch "Mr. Robot" Wednesday nights at 10/9c on USA Network.

Pride Over Feeling: Suits "Denial" season premiere

In the season premiere of "Suits" change is coming in the life of Harvey.

We come into the episode as Harvey is talking to a therapist about how he isn't sleeping but instead of getting a prescription for sleeping pills he tells her the event that took place six weeks earlier.

Mike and Rachel are engaged and agreed to not tell anyone expect her father and Donna, but she finds out what happen with Donna, she doesn't tell her. But Mike did tell Harvey who wasn't in the best of moods.

Without Donna Harvey is literally a spaceship with out a shield. She was the glue that held Harvey to being the best that he is as a lawyer.

As a case comes in with a business about to go bankrupt, Harvey and Mike play hardball and come up with a plan to get the people to withdraw their investments. But both Harvey and Mike forgot one other name and they had to play another hardball game for one that would not settle with their client but it will fix it all.

Donna working for Louis gives Louis sense of happiness but also his mind plays tricks when it comes to knowing that she might go back to Harvey, for which Harvey thinks so too.

The therapist got to the bottom of things and figured out that Harvey isn't having trouble sleeping but he's had anxiety attack. She did give him a week's worth of anxiety pills but after another attack he kind of flushed them in the toilet.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Harvey will be throughout this season. After one incident, can Harvey get things back by just getting another secretary?

This episode was very good. Watching Harvey be this bold guy kind of have a chip on his shoulder. I literally can't wait to see what happens next.

I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch "Suits" Wednesday nights at 9/8c on USA Network.

Just before tonight's series premiere of USA's new cyber drama, "Mr. Robot," gets renewed for a second season.

The series, created by Sam Esmail, is about a young programmer named Elliot (Rami Malek) who spends his days as a cyber-security engineer and his nights as a vigilante hacker.

The series also stars Christian Slater who plays a mysterious leader of the cyber-underground community that recruits Elliot.

Chris McCumber, USA Network President, said in a statement, "We knew from the moment we read Sam Esmail's provocative script, and witnessed the brilliant performances of Rami Malek and Christian Slater, that 'Mr. Robot' is a stand-out series that is unlike anything currently on television.

"The overwhelmingly positive fan reactions t the pilot and the broad sampling of it reaffirms our confidence in the series, and we're excited to see where this timely drama will take us for season two."

The series has received positive reviews from critics. The pilot was released early on YouTube and other platforms.

"Sam Esmail has captured and distilled out ongoing conversations about identity, privacy, value and self-worth," said Jeff Wachtel, president and CCO, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. "We are all talking about the central themes of 'Mr. Robot'- Sam has just done it in a completely original and uniquely compelling way."

"Mr. Robot" is produced from Universal Cable Productions.
