Chicago PD "Natural Born Storyteller"

Lindsay is back, and the squad takes on one of their most challenging cases yet.

As Burgess and Roman chase a suspect on foot, Burgess finds blood on a refrigerator door and a dead boy inside. The teams come together and search for who the boy is and see his parents. Looking for any clues, the boy lived three houses down from where he was found.

They come across a suspect who's a sex offender but isn't registered. Soon, Voight and the team get word that he lives just a few houses down from where the boy lives and rush to the house to see if he's there. Not there, they come across a friend/roommate who's also a sex offender. The roommate says that a group of guys took his friend away.

Voight talked to the victim's mother and asked if she and her husband knew about a sex offender living in their neighborhood. She did, and it took less than 2 minutes to say that her husband was taking care of it but beating the crap out of the guy.

Quickly the team raced to stop the victim's father from beating the crap out of the suspect.

But soon, the tables turn when the father's friend gets a notice that his son is missing too. Soon, another piece of the puzzle comes when they go back to ask the auto repair guy, but he isn't there. He took the boy and found him at a festival. Dawson talks him down and gets the boy. But just in time, Halstead shoots the kidnapper who was about to hit Dawson.

This episode was shocking from the moment Burgess found the dead child. We saw Antonio going through some emotion with this case, thinking of his children. But he calmed down after calling his son and talking to him.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is back and agreeing on terms to live with Voight. But she has to separate ties with her mother, Bunny, who is just a pain in the neck. Erin tries to tell her, but Bunny takes it as if Voight is destroying her family. But it was at the end that was a checkmate when Bunny goes to another department and confesses to something that Voight has done. It's going to be a family showdown.

Overall, I give this episode 7.5/10. It was a good episode, both primary and other stories, from Al's meeting with his daughter again and Erin and Bunny.

Here's a promo for next week's episode.

You can catch Chicago PD on Wednesday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

Welcome Back Grumpy! iZombie "Grumpy Old Liv" Season Premiere

The new season of iZombie kicked off Tuesday night with a very grumpy Liv and the hunt for zombies is on from one familiar face.

After last season, Liv decided not to give blood to help her brother Evan after suffering from a bombing. Her mother doesn't want to see her in the same room with Evan and so does Evan as well. There's some tension between but for Liv it could be the best if she wants to keep her secret hidden.

The case that Liv and Clive working on is a murder by one's own car or should I say smashed underneath his own car. The usual suspects from neighbors to in-laws were asked. But one final clue help give it away, it's always the shoes or boats my friend. The neighbor across the street has been reciving death threats the from victim about his dog pooping in his yard. He thought that he killed him, s after having a few drinks he went to the victim's house and asked him.

Upset about it, he kicked the carjack and the car fell on the victim. But it was until he heard his dog in the basement of the victim's house that his dog wasn't really killed. After listening to the story I felt really bad for the suspect. I'm such a dog and cat lover that seeing or hearing about a pet gets me a but emotional.

Liv's ex seems to be dealing being a zombie, he's picked up for a job by Vaughn to go out there and kill the those that are zombies. Heck there's even a list as well. Seems like he's going to do it after Vaughn threatens Major with a recording from Liv and Ravi.

Not to mention that Liv's new roommate works for Vaughn and looks upon Liv after watching Zombie High. Also Blaine is back and seems to be tracking about the boat accident.

The show starts off really good. I've only had a chance to watch the first half of last season on Netflix. So by the end of this week I'll be all caught up.

Rose McIver is outstanding as Liv Moore. So is the cast. And after this episode, it gives some good points of where this season will go. I can't wait to see what this season will bring.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10

A Halloween to Scream For: Scream Queens "Haunted House"

In a more twist and turn episode, the ending of this episode raised more questions than anything.

Grace and Pete search for the former sorority, Mandy, who was there when the murder happen. Also got some starling news not only what happen after the murder but something Grace was not prepared for...that she could be that child.

Mandy gave some interesting story of how Dean Munsch was the one who helped get rid of the body and cleaned up the mess. She told the girls that she's their gardening angle. Yeah, an angle that loves to wear black clothing. I'm going back and forth that maybe she's the killer, but she did state her case that how she could do such an act in last week's episode.

Meanwhile, Zayday decides to run for against Chanel Oberlin for President of their sorority. Not a liking the idea, Chanel and her team try to sabotage Zayday's plans by ruining her haunted house. That apparently has dead bodies from the cleaning lady, Sonya/Chnael #2, the security guard and Mandy.

I will say that I did enjoyed this episode more the last week. One awkward but funny scene comes from when Kayday calls 911 and informs about the dead bodies in her haunted house. The cop thinks that there should be dead bodies and thought that this was just a prank call. To me it sounds like something from the film Scream or Scary Movie.

I did enjoy the clips of fans of Chanel on Instagram getting to receive package of Halloween stuff at their doorstep that's known as "Chanel-O-Ween." The chips look so real and probably got real reaction from fans.

As I said there seems to be more questions asked with little answers. The one thing that left the eye brows raising was who's live in that haunted house with all the broken dolls? We get to see a lady in a rocking chair in a black robe like that turned out to be Gigi. Could she be the killer or let alone the mother that was left for dead? Yes, I'm going to go there. It seems that this show can go anywhere at any moment.

Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Scream Queens Tuesday nights at 9/8c on FOX.

Life in Pieces "Sleepy Email Brunch Tree"

When it comes to family moments, this show presents those moments that we can relate to. This episode was one of its best, with such great family moments.

The first story of this episode showed how both new parents, Greg and Jen, deal with sleepless nights with the baby.

Jen forces Greg to get the diapers but also a drink for her. Greg brings them to the store, gets her drink, and picks up the diapers but also buys a couple of wizard fingers (hot dogs rotating for more than 6 hours). Greg heads home to eat a finger but soon gets pulled over by a cop because he is too slow. The cop makes him do tasks to ensure he's not on anything, but after passing every job, Greg is still going to jail.

That upset Jen because Greg was going to have a night to himself. Of course, Greg defends that he's not and soon falls asleep in the back of the cop car.

The following story occurs with Heather's family as Heather tries to email a friend about not wanting to help with a task for the school. It becomes one of the hardest things to do while the kids, husband, and even a neighbor bothers her. But as she tried to send the email, the Wi-Fi became an issue, and she had to go to Joan's house for the password.

But soon, everyone comes in and talks and bothers Heather and Joan. But when Heather's friend texted her about the task, her husband was smart enough to text back, "New phone, who's this?" and gave Heather time to send the email.

I couldn't get enough of the brunch story when the family came together to have brunch and met Matt's girlfriend, Colleen. It becomes an issue for Matt to teach Colleen the code words that go around the family of what to say or not. But as it goes all so well, it goes awkwardly wrong when John mentions Matt's wife.

This show has shown a lot of good, hilarious stories. I love that they show four short stories and that it's not one long storyline episode. I couldn't get enough of Greg and Jen's story. I thought Colin and Zoe-Lister Jones were fantastic and hilarious. And not to mention Besty Brandt's Heather as well.

Overall, I give this episode 8.5/10.

You can catch Life in Pieces on Monday nights at 8:30/7:30 on CBS.

Blindspot "Eight Slim Grins"

As the Kurt, Jane and the team get closer to who Jane is and what's the tattoos are about. They finally get some answers.

When we last left in last week's episode, Jane gets a visitor from the mysterious breaded man, who knows who she is and warns her about not to trust the FBI. But before he could say anything else, he gets killed from a sniper.

That made Kurt very upset about the protection Jane is under. But soon one of Jane's tattoos became a match of one of the suspects that got shot and left behind from a robbery. The match was a tattoo of a Navy Seal.

Kurt and Jane head towards the hospital and see the suspect, but he wasn't talking just yet. So they go and try to find the rest of the gang and made it to a shopping center. Kurt and Jane have an augment about her having a gun and joining them on the search. But Jane is Jane if she wants to help she's going to help no matter what the cost is.

Jane spots a a guy who comes out but he goes back in for cell phones. She follows him to the back but then runs from her. She chases him to the back and they fight. He gets away but Kurt and the others aren't so happy with her.

Jumping to the hospital, Jane and Kurt go there to talk to the suspect. But when they get to his room the lights on the floor go out and all communication is lost. The Candy Men come for their injured friend. Kurt and Jane takes him to another room and leaves Jane with a gun to protect her and the suspect.

Kurt goes after the rest of the guys and gets a gun. But soon Jane helps and it shows that Jane can work with a gun and well anything that she can use like knives to fight.

When all is done, the injured suspect tells Jane that her name is Orion. But that wasn't the freaky part at all. That came when the results from what Kurt ordered if Jane was this missing person that vanished years ago, Taylor Shaw and with the results coming in, she is in fact Taylor Shaw.

Good news is that Taylor will get to have a gun and help out on the field. Finally they've come around to their senses. Kurt and Jane work pretty good together.

On the other hand, Mayfair talks to one of her friends in the FBI, they talks about Jane and also what she's been through. They mention project Daylight. What is project Daylight and what does it have to do with having it all over Taylor Shaw's body.

This was a fantastic episode. We finally got some answers and even more questions were being asked. I love the argument of Jane and Kurt, just one person's opinion against another. Also I just love these fighting scenes, they're so good. It's like watching a feature film.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Here's a promo for next week's episode.

You can catch Blindspot Monday nights at 10/9c on NBC.
