Solving Miss.Crazy: iZombie "Read Dead Housewives of Seattle"

This week's crime solving gets a bit bitchier when Liv help crack on the murder of a trophy wife. Plus a familiar face returns and it's a special day for someone.

When a trophy wife is murdered along with the murderer, Liv and the guys take on the case. Liv eating the brain turns into one of the housewives. With Liv acting like, she can't stop talking about fashion and others. But when interviewing Vaughn, a flashback shows that the victim had an affair with him, but of course, Vaughn wouldn't have admitted it anyway.

Liv and Clive interviewed the husband of the victim and was shocked and upset to hear and asked about his wife's affair with Vaughn. Of course, he knew but didn't do anything until near the end of the episode threatening Vaughn to take over the company. That lead to Vaughn taking him to a secret room where he was killed by a zombie.

But at the end of the day, it was the call girl of the husband, Bethany. With more than just one name on the call girl website, it was no doubt that she was the one. Plus she took Liv shopping until Clive told her about it. Than Beth knocked Liv and tried to escape but Liv stopped her knocking her out.

A shocking moment came when both Liv and Ravi saw that Peyton is back and is handling a task force. She only comes back for a few scenes, talking to Ravi about what she's been thinking. But of course, that wasn't the only she was here for.

I didn't understand why Liv was asking everyone out on Friday until we found out that it was her birthday. Talk about making some feel horrible. Liv got a bottle of booze to celebrate until she spots a birthday cake in the refrigerator. It wasn't Gilda that go it, it was Peyton that brought the cake.

This episode was very enjoyable. I get such a kick from Steven Weber, who's character is a total mystery to me. I don't know what he'll do. I have had this feeling in this episode that he's going to pop out with something when he was with Terrance, the husband of the victim.

Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

Here's a promo for next week's episode.

You can catch iZombie Tuesday nights at 9/8c on The CW.

Crazy Best Friends: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend "Josh's Girlfriend is Really Cool!"

When it comes to meeting your ex-boyfriend's girlfriend it's never the best idea to become their friend too and in this case it shows.

As Rebecca gets situated in California, she's trying to find a way to get with Josh. Paula does what best friends do best, interfere and help. Telling her that Josh will be at the Spider's club. They go but they don't get in even if Rebecca bribes the bouncer.

Without going in, Rebecca decides to go home and spend some time alone eating, exercising and glued to the television. She soon goes to the store to pick up some PMs and soon spots Josh at the frozen food aisle. Then bumps into Greg and his friends, things get awkward here when both Rebecca and Greg meet Josh and his girlfriend, Valencia.

Rebecca is shocked but soon embraces Valencia and wants to be her best friend, from social media to taking her yoga class. I have to say that musical number in the yoga scene felt like one girl talking trash to the other in a exercising way.

Things go from bad to worst when they all four: Rebecca, Greg, Josh and Valencia go out to Spider's. Both Rebecca and Valencia go dancing until Rebecca kiss her and freaks out. Soon the truth comes out from Josh and Valencia doesn't want to see Rebecca again, not even letting Josh hang with her too.

I will say that Paula is one of the best supporting characters in the series. She seems to be in between creepy best friend to maybe having a love crush with Rebecca. From buying donuts to gift giving, I'm assuming she's trying to have a friend that's younger than Mrs. Hernandez.

This was a good episode but not like the pilot. There were some good moments and some funny songs too. I just felt that it was a bit down graded from the first episode. I still think that Rachel Bloom hilarious.

Overall, I give this episode a 6/10.

A Shaky House: Chicago Fire "A Taste of Panama City"

A firefighter's life hangs in the balance, plus a friend still asking for help. And questions are being called about how House 51 acted on the crack house fire in last week's episode. A lot comes into tonight's episode.

Casey and Dawson act like everything is normal and try to keep the baby news a secret until Dawson asks to transfer to Arson and spells the news to Bowden. The reaction from Bowden was priceless. I couldn't stop laughing. "Gabriela Dawson, get your ass over here and hug me." As I said, it's priceless.

Now, with Dawson at Arson, she spots a report about the crack house fire she was a part of and looks into it to see if it was arson. There seems to be enough support to be an arson. That also puts the big question into another situation.

The Deputy Chief calls for Bowden to answer some questions about how they handled it. Somehow, they could have gotten there sooner, but of course, they had that neighborhood blockage of cars. Soon, Patterson talks with his crew, including Severid,e who tells him he doesn't want surprises. Something is fishy with Patterson.

Casey was questioned and asked about his actions in the last couple of weeks. Plus, Severide gets asked too and responds with them asking the neighbor, but no one knows who or where that guy is.

Severide soon does his investigation while he is off and visits the site. He was looking for the elderly guy that lived next door. With no one at home, he goes to the next house, and a guy opens it but tells Severide that he has no idea. The elderly guy soon comes out and tells Severide the same thing. Someone has kept the neighborhood silent.

Meanwhile, Casey gets stopped by Nesbitt and asks for the whereabouts of Katya's files. Casey doesn't know but goes to Voight to help prevent this guy. Voight can't and makes Casey out to go full Voightal.

But when talking to Dawson about the arson fire report on the crack house, he remembers something that drove him back to the bar. There, he searches and finds something beyond the wall. There are the files, and Casey tries to make a run from them but is followed by Nesbitt, but with the save by Voight and the Feds, Nesbitt is finally in custody.

Also, in this episode, Britt and Chili rescue a heart attack victim who looks like he will be dead. Not to mention that the patient's fiance was there and got in the way of getting shocked and needed to be rescued, too. Britt can't seem to get that baby out of her mind. Visiting him many times, it looks like maybe she might be thinking of adopting.

And it's a neighborhood war between Molly's and a family next door. Hermann tries to be nice, but it backfires, and that sends him to make it karaoke night, playing "Don't Forget About Me."

This episode was great. The story of an investigation and Bowden losing his job is a perfect storyline starter. The character Patterson is a moron and fishy with what he's been doing. That scene with Casey on the edge hanging on the bank van was on the edge-of-your-seat stuff.

Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

Trade, Love Care: Life in Pieces "Babe Secret Phone Germs"

This week's episode has the family dealing with a child's girlfriend, the cell phone, the office relationship, and germs.

The first story starts with Tyler's new girlfriend. When Heather throws a house welcoming party with the family, Tyler brings his girlfriend. But there's one issue that gives everyone concern about her. Her boobs become a distraction.

Not only does Tim get distracted, but Greg and Matt do as well. They talk to Tyler about it, and he tells them that she's a bit older, and soon they high-five him.

The second story deals with Matt and Colleen's working relationship. There's a rule that you can't date while working for the same company. It becomes an issue for the two not to be around each other, but when a coworker finds out they're dating, Matt quits his job to be with her.

The next one happens to be one of my favorites, and that deals with cell phones. When Heather's youngest daughter complains about the cell phone use at that dinner table, she asks her mom if she would want one, but Heather tells her that she has to wait til she turns 12.

She goes to her grandfather and guilts him into buying her a phone. It works out for the two of them until John sees she's distracted from the outside world. Of course, he tells Joan about it and gets in trouble with Heather, who tells him to take the phone away. Instead of just taking the phone away, he trades in pierced earrings.

The last story deals with germs. Greg and Jen are the new parents and are trying not to be the kind of parents who protect their children from nasty germs. It gets tricky when they call a pest control to take out a skunk.

The guy asked to use their bathroom, and they allowed him to go in to use it. The guy was dirty, and even though he took his shoes off, his soccer was even dirt, her too. And, of course, about to leave, the baby drops its pacifier, picks it up, and puts it back in its mouth. Yeah, that wouldn't drive any new parent crazy. It does, and Greg and Jen climb up the house and leave the door open for the floors to dry until the skunk returns.

I enjoyed the first, third, and fourth stories the most out of this episode. But I wanted the grandfather-granddaughter relationship. When she hooks him in that, she will be sad unless she gets a phone. The grandfather trying to be the best friend helps but soon does what every grandfather does best: makes a trade.

Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

Life in Pieces will be moving to its new day and time on Thursday, Nov. 5th at 8:30/7:30c on CBS

The Battle Between Two Agents: Blindspot "Split the Law"

Things get dicey when hostage situation turns into an international indication and the FBI and the CIA are butting heads with each other in this crazy twisted episode.

Kurt invites Jane for dinner with his sister and niece, things seem to go pretty well until Jane gets a flashback to when she was walking down stairs with someone. Maybe a bit too soon on meeting the family.

Anyway, a hostage situation takes Weller, Jane and the FBI get's their interest because the building has the same code number that's part of Jane's tattoo. Trying to keep the situation calm, the gun men were upset that the NWA fired them. It got ugly when gunshots went off and everyone goes in.

Even though they went in, things looked a bit fishy. Jane and Kurt go down a flight of stairs that lead to an underground CIA black-site with three men dead. That's where CIA Carter and his crew come in. Things get heated between the FBI and CIA.

While Jane stepped out, she goes back to the truck and look through the severance cameras. There was smoke screen when one of the gun men took three hostages and gone through the door and minutes later comes out with one of them looking different. They realized that the guy that was down stairs was rescued. The guy was part of the CIA Intel that has the knowledge to make a dirty bomb.

So the hunt was on to search the the guys and the scientist. They find that the dirty bomb will be set in a cemetery in Queens. The place reminds me of the final scenes of Amy Pond on Doctor Who with the Wheeping Angles. Guns goes a blazing between one another and even the CIA gets involved too and Carter almost taking out Jane with a sniper but was stopped by Mayfair.

Carter soon puts Mayfair on the spot when she wants to take the suspect in for questioning with guns of each FBI and CIA turning to each other. Carter negotiate in exchange for Jane but Mayfair didn't.

I have a feeling that this won't be the end for Carter. He wants to take down Jane one way or another. Plus, Jane remembers going down a flight of stairs that lead to an underground chamber with children that are held prisoners. And we finally get to see Weller's father, who shows up at the end of the episode.

I enjoyed this episode to the max. There were so many twist and turns from the hostage to what these guys were up to. I freaked out when Weller was interrogating with one of the suspects and she pulled her hair out. That was freaky awesome. Apparently the suspects had radiation in their bodies enough that they were going to die.

And not to forget that there's a leak in the FBI and that person's name is Zapata, who was spotted talking to Carter and taking money. All  I have to say is WTF!!! And I thought she was a good one.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Here's a promo for next week's episode.

You can catch Blindspot Monday nights at 10/9c on NBC.
