Chicago Med adds a doctor's daughter
On Tuesday, TVLine has learned that Mekia Cox (Undercovers) will have a recurring role in Season 2 on the hit NBC medical drama as Robin, Dr. Charles' (Oliver Platt) and not to mention a love interest for Colin Donnell's Dr. Connor Rhodes.
It's been said that Robin is an epidemiologist who is brought in to assess a diffcult case, which will further complicate her already strained relationship with her father. She makes her debut in episode 4, "but the romance (with Connor) doesn't start" until later installment, executive producer Andrew Schneider told TVLine.
"They do start working as colleagues," EP Diane Frolov said. "(Robin is) very smart and wry and rebellious. She's sparky."
Cox has been on other shows from Gotham, Key and Peele and not to mention Almost Human.
You can catch the season premiere of Chicago Med Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c on NBC.

The Blacklist Season 4 "Who is Liz's Father?" Promo (HD)
What perfect timing!! I was just about to ask when will there be a teaser/promo for the new season of The Blacklist during the Rio Summer Olympics. It has come and very little is seen, but I think that the only thing new from it is Spader looking around.
The images look shattered and why wouldn't it be with the season finale left us with glass all over the floor with the biggest twists. And looks like that we will get the answer to that question we all ask: Who's Liz's Father?
If you remember or seen the season finale, Alexander Kirk takes Liz, ties her up to a chair in a private room and tells her that he's her father.
Here's the teaser.
You can catch the season premiere of The Blacklist on it's new time Thursday, Step. 22 at 10/9c on NBC

Well, it's now official that Showtime has renewed Homeland for two additional seasons beyond it's upcoming sixth season. The cable network confirmed the pickup Thursday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
"Homeland is a show that is constantly reinventing itself...since it's very much about this Intelligence world," said Showtime president David Nevin back in June during a conference call with reporters at the time when the rumor was spreading. The announcement comes as Homeland begins production on it's sixth season, which is set in New York City and the chronicle the precarious two month period between Election Day and the swearing in of the new President of the United States Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel). CSI: NY's Hill Harper joins the cast as Keane's Chief of Staff and The Flash's Patrick Sabongui is set to recur as a CUNY law professor who works with Carrie and is a fierce advocate for Muslim American community.
