The Family Way: The Mysteries of Laura "The Mystery of the Unknown Caller" Part 1 of 2 Part Season Finale

In this part one of a two part season finale, Laura faces a case that will not only challenge but faces her personal life as well.

When a mysterious caller, in distress, leaves a message for Laura, Meredith and her track where that caller came from before gun shots were heard. They found the body and still Laura doesn't quiet remember until they look into the guys apartment and find a photo of someone that she knows...her half sister, Lucy.

If you want to know what she like, Jake describes her better as Laura without morals. And that's true, Laura trying to find her, goes to her dad, Leo, for help. She tracks from the phone call she made from his phone and spots her at Grand Central.

After a hilarious chase scene, Laura takes her down and brings her to her office. Trying to get her to come to grips that this is serious, Laura puts her in jail cell for the time being. But there was no way that Jake was no going to notice and takes the case after Santiani was mad of how Laura took the case.

As the case gets underway, Billy and Meredith find a truck that belong to the suspect and found a hidden compartment of perception drugs, some that were mislabel. That lead Laura to get upset with Lucy even more and tell her that she can't help her being involved working for a drug lord.

But if Laura was mad at Lucy, she's even madder at her own dad for her to inform that she wasn't read her rights and so she got to walk away and not only made Laura bad but even Santiani worst after she left Leo talk to her.

After the two talked it out and had a drink, Laura came up with an idea to bust the drug lord, but needs Lucy to set it up. After convincing him about a buyer who wants to buy $5 millions worth, he tells her were to meet.

Just before Laura went in, Santiani put a tracker on her phone, like she does with her kid. These two have come closer as friends in this episode.

Laura moves in and gets stop by a janitor, who tells her to get in the basket and took her to where the drug lord. After talking and watching the truck get loaded, Laura gets her phone, turns in on and transfers the money. When she turned her phone on, Santiani spotted where she was located, see it comes in handy to have that tracker app.

After capturing the drug lord, Laura and Lucy seems to be on the verge of patching things up slowly. Santiani tells Laura that they are wanted at a press conference for the drug bust. Laura doesn't want to go, but she went anyway.

As the gang watched from their bar, as Santiani gave her speech and in a split second a gun shot was heard and a female officer was shot. As Jake race to the hospital, Laura walks out and it turns out that Santiani had died.

This of course must of been part of what that drug lord threaten Laura.

This so good of an episode that I'm freakin dying to see what comes next. Sad to see Santiani is gone after her and Laura have finally gotten along in a friendly way. Debby Ryan was amazing and the perfect choice to play Laura's sister. And I couldn't get enough of Robert Klein as Leo.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

NBC Renews Superstore

After last night's season finale of NBC's hit comedy Superstore aired Monday night. The networked announced Tuesday that the show will be renewed for a second season.

The series has become NBC's most-watched rookie comedy in two years averaging season to date, 7 million viewers with a demo of 2.1 rating in Live +7 viewing.

"We're thrilled to renew a show that's so incredibly funny and relatable, full of great characters who are brought to life by an amazing cast and creative team," NBC entertainment president JEnnifer Salke said in a statement. "After such a successful first season, we look forward to seeing more of the wonderful America Ferrera, Ben Feldman and the rest of this hilarious cast in Season 2."

I'm delighted that the network has renewed Superstore. It's surely is one of the best new comedies of the season, with such a great and hilarious cast. Ferrera and Feldman have great on screen chemistry. Can't wait to see what Season two will bring.

Magic Mushrooms: The X-Files "Babylon"

The one thing that I can't get out of my mind from this episode is watching Mulder get so high that he wanders into a redo and a whole crazy stuff. But before talking about that, let's talk about this episode.

A case comes to the FBI when two Islamic men bomb an art gallery in Texas. The case goes to two young FBI agents that went to ask for Mulder and Scully's advice. The thing about these two young agents is that they look and act so much alike Mulder and Scully. It's like seeing them in a mirror, if it showed them 23 years ago.

As the young agents get to the airport, Scully calls the one who believes and as for Mulder called on the skeptic. They worked together to find a way to communicate to the suspect, who is still alive after the blast.

Scully tries a scientific with brainwaves, while Mulder has an idea of using magic mushrooms. Let's just say Mulder's plan seem to be very fun...and helpful.

Mulder's plan went from dozing off to walking out of the hospital onto the streets and landing into a redo. That's where Mulder does his best stuff on the dance floor and would you have it, the song Honkytonky Badonkadonk plays and Mulder seated with not only Skinner but The Lone Gunman too.

But soon Mulder gets into what he calls it "Fifty Shades of bad" with the young skeptic agent. And then gets whipped by the Cigarette Smoking Man and soon spots the suspect with his mother and speaking something in Arabic.

Mulder wakes up with the voice of Skinner. Of course, Skinner wasn't there with him and told Mulder that he put the shame in the FBI. As he was order to go back to D.C., he see the mother of the suspect and brings her to see her son.

They walk in with Scully and the other agent trying to read his brainwaves but soon after she appears, the suspect dies. That leads Mulder trying to think of what the suspect told him in his dream. And after minutes, he speaks it out and it turns out that what he said was Babylon hotel. That's where the other bombers were at.

At the end, the young agents grew closure than before, just like Mulder and Scully. And as for Mulder, he and Scully talk about his thoughts on this case and the powers that be. I think it just brings them a little but closure than we seen them before.

Next week's episode is the season finale and from the promo, it looks like it will be one hell of a finale.

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10. It was very good with the humor, the story was good too. The characters were amazing, like watching how the mentor hangs with the mentee. And also who didn't get goosebumps or find it funny when Scully answered the agents as "No one here but the FBI Un-most wanted."

Marvel's Daredevil - Season 2 - Official Trailer - Netflix [HD]

The latest trailer for the new season of Daredevil is out. Only one question: Can Daredevil handle the Punisher?

This trailer look really good and even a surprise guest comes in at the end. This one captures the Punisher to a really dark character than I known him (from the Spiderman TV series). Don't laugh at me about that.

A Tale of Butterflies: The Blacklist "Lady Ambrosia "No. 77)"

"Once upon a time there once lived a woman in the woods, she was purely neither evil nor purely good, she gathered unwanted children and gave them a home for which to stay she promised them that they would live forever and she could change them into colors, so beautiful so bold that she cared for them sweetly."

Talk about a fairy tale coming together to make a difference in the future life. This week's episode is an hour of one's tale and makes it creepy and exciting. 

Liz meets with Red at a local dinner. Just before they get to business, Red gives her an envelope that is a trust fund for her child. Of course, she doesn't want to take it. After that, Red tells a tale of Lady Ambrosia and how he loved fairy tales that tell creepy tales, but Liz didn't enjoy them. He shows her a newspaper with the face of a boy presumed dead years ago and thinks there's an honest Lady Ambrosia out there. 

Liz talks to the child, but the only thing she can get out of him is playing with a pen. As the parents come in, Ressler receives word that the parents were trying to give him up for adoption just before he disappeared. 

Later on, the mother makes a call to their adoption agent, who's married to Lady Ambrosia. They meet, and she is killed. The husband gets taken in by the FBI, leaving the boy with Liz. 

Let me say that watching Liz's parenting skills is getting a feeling and watching her trying to heat a waffle on the stove and accidentally leaving the paper towel near the stove, causing a fire. The fire alarm goes off, and the kid is scared. As Liz tries to clear the smoke, Baz comes in with a gun and turns it off. It's nice to bring a gun to turn off a fire alarm; I'll have to try that the next time my fire alarm goes off. 

That wouldn't be the last time Liz has issues in her apartment. Since her name was listed in the boy's adoption, Lady Ambrosia's husband and her son try to get him. But thanks to Baz again, the husband was taken into Red's care. 

Red talks to him about where a particular child was and at first doesn't talk but soon explains what his wife does for the children, that she saves them. Red makes it to where they're at and talks to Ambrosia. Even though what she does is wrong, it doesn't make it right how it all came about. As they talk, her son, Theo, says terrible things about himself, but Red tries to tell him good things about him, which leads him to take his mother and drop her in the well, just like she does with the other children, to save them. 

He drags her and dumps her in the well and, after, jumps in too. As the FBI takes the kids out of the house, they see the butterflies flying high. 

Red delivers the child back to her mother and gets the file he requested. It's a film about Liz's mother, and from his reaction, it doesn't look good. 

Not to mention, Tom's excited after the job he helped pull and hopes to get paid. That is until his friend shoots everyone and him in the van. But as Tom is Tom, he escapes and tries to fix himself but ends up in someone's bathroom. 

Liz, on the other hand, is excited that there's a family that is willing to take her child and share it with her. I feel she may not want to give up the child. I have that feeling. 

This episode was excellent and so clever. I can't get enough of Glen and his bull crap on Red. And I praise Leslie Jones on her cameo talking to Red as he waits to speak to Glen. I want to know if Spader ever lost character in that sense. I would.

We're closer to knowing about Liz's mother than ever before. I can't wait to see how this will play out. The writers know how to take this show and not just have it on autopilot like other shows. 

Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
