The Hunt: The Blacklist "The Mombasa Cartel"

So the question that we've been asking for the last couple of weeks is what is Liz Keen hiding behind that door that she has someone guarding? That answer was told but I won't tell right now.

This week's episode of "The Blacklist" deals with a group that poachers that don't deal with animals but humans. In a way the hunt was on for this and Liz's secret.

We come to a couple of back stories of human poachers killing people. One who was a witness to it as a young boy, may be a surprise to you at the end of who it was.

As we come to the present, we see Red and Liz in Red's apartment and Red is watching about Loins hunters. Disguised by what he starts talking about the next person or persons on the list. This time its poachers.

They hunt certain people, rich, poor or so and hunt them down, kill them and then skin them and stuff them. Sounds like this should be an episode of Hannibal right? Well anyway, Liz and the gang got word of the latest victim, who happens to be skinned off and left his bones, where you can still see some blood vessel marks on the bones at least, from my point of view.

The gang traces back to a place in Alaska. So Ressler goes there by himself and check things out. It leads him to a cabin out in the middle of the wilderness. He spots an elderly lady and soon her son. As soon as Ressler was about to leave, he sees what the son had under the truck and it was two people in cages tagged. Then Ressler was knocked out and soon put into a cage.

Ressler wakes up and soon the cages open for him and the other guys, both have a yellow tag on their ear. As they get out they hear what sounds like an animal call but it really wasn't. It was the hunter.

Ressler stops on guy and talks to him about what's going on until he starts to go through withdraw signs because he's getting a bit addicting on his pain meds. It's not who you think would be, not that son of that lady but her youngest, Matthew, who's 7 foot tall dude that looks like the character from Men In Black.

Ressler runs and spots a campfire along with he thought were people until he realized that they were dead people who were stuffed.  Soon, Matthew comes by and talks to his stuff pets, if you call it, and  soon Ressler gets a jump on him, but Matt pins him to a tree until Ressler grabs a knife and stabs him in the stomach.

Matthew then goes back home to his home and to his mother where he has a nice bubble bath waiting for him, mostly after every hunt. He comes in and she's upset so she puts him int he tub and as soon as Keen and the FBI Squad come in she kills him and herself by dumping the radio into the tub.

As soon as that event was over, Keen sees Ressler and without saying any word puts his head down and admits that he has a problem.

That's not what all went down in this episode. Peter Fonda guest starred in this episode playing the high rich man who tries to end poaching but encourages it since his wife and sons are the ones in Alaska.

Keen talks to him but it was Red that had that last conversation with him. Red who asked him for something and got soon then told him about a story of a little boy who witness murder and human poaching but his life turned around and he is a brilliant and brightest person that he has ever know. And that person that Red is talking about is Dembe.

Then Red kills off Fonda's character off. That was one quick guest spot for someone like Fonda. I have no problem of his character or the way the show used his performance status.

And of course, the story that we all wanted to know is what is Liz hiding. Well, her watchman got to see what was behind that door and threaten her to tell Red before he does. Well that backfired on her quick so she fought fire with fire and sent him to jail by saying he knows that where about of Raymond Reddington.

But soon at the end of the episode, we see Liz go in, the camera is on her and she talks and as she was down talking we see that the thing that she was hiding was a person by the name of Tom Keen. Apparently he's not dead and that Liz has hidden him.

I seen on twitter that most of the viewers and fans weren't surprised. I was mostly surprised because I knew that he wasn't dead that Keen let him go and he was going to same day get her. But still I love the surprised of this secret. Tom is alive and is in the hands of Liz.

Now what's going to happen is something that viewers should really stick around because there's only two more episodes until the show goes to a break until we see the two-part episode that starts on  Super Bowl Sunday after the game and coutine on its new night Thursdays at 9/8c.

Side Note: Last week Marvel released the new trailer of the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in which James Spader is the voice of Ultron and in this trailer gives a chilling look to the movie that comes out on May 2015. Here's a link to it: "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer

Spader's voice gives a chilling aspect for which I think fits him best to play the character. Even if I don't know much about Ultron but will very soon. Also the part where he says "I'm free. There are no strings on me" just sets goosebumps all over.

You can catch "The Blacklist" Monday nights at 10/9c on NBC
