It seems that one doc has check out of Chicago Med early.
Laurie Holden, who's played ER surgeon Dr. Hannahn Tramble in last April's backdoor pilot in Chcago Fire, has parted ways with NBC's upcoming Fire spin-off.
"It was LAurie's decision to pto out of the series," said a spokesperson for the show to TVLine. "We are sorry to see her go. We are currently casting addtional new roles which we hope to have confirmed very soon."
Holden, who starred in The Walking Dead and Dumb and Dumber To, also issues the following statement:
"I am so grateful to Dick Wolf, my fellow cast memebers, NBC and the entire Chicago Med team for their understanding. Sometimes we must make tough choices and, for family reasons, not doing Chicago Med is one of those for me at this time. I know the show is going to be a huge success and I'll be watching."
Chicago Med's current stars are S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order), Yaya DaCosta (Ugly Betty), Nick Gehlfuss (Shameless), Oliver Platt (Fargo & The Big C), Colin Donnell (Arrow) and Brian Tee (Grimm).
You can catch the premiere of Chicago Med Tuesday, Nov. 10th at 9/8c on NBC.
