It may be awkward at times, but it's hilarious. I don't think I could have laughed so much at a family in an extended period. This week's episode of Life in Pieces indeed was good, if not better.
The first story starts with Joan calling in a family meeting after Matt walks in on her and John making out during Charlie Rose. It leads to a one-on-one of each member speaking at the moment.
The second story calls it a double whammy for Matt when he's on a second date with Colleen. The card did not want to start, so they went to a Mexican seafood place and to Colleen's wedding party, for which they spent the evening using it.
The third story was hilarious at most when Greg and Jen were going through breastfeeding difficulties. Jen doesn't seem to pump well and gets help from some organic folks who think using formula is a crime. But the hilarious and crazy part came when the couple mentioned they were brother and sister. Oh yeah.
And the final story comes to Heather and Tim moving to another home close to John and Joan. Matt helps packing, but they hired a moving company that has former criminals help as a community service. The issue is that they found so many drugs around the house, and when they saw it, they had to blow their whistle.
Just before they arrived at their new home, the kids wanted to take their dead pets with them. Matt and Tim dug them up and placed them in a pool or dirt over the car.
This episode was hilarious from the beginning to the end. I felt that this was Matt's episode because of his involvement with the family. I couldn't get enough of each of the stories.
Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
You can catch Life in Pieces on Monday nights at 8:30/7:30c on CBS
