The risk of the world is on Taylor's face, as the Weller and the team try to stop a weaponize virus from spread throughout the world.
As Jane Doe learned that she's Taylor Shaw, her and Kirk talks about it in a session with the FBI therapist, but nothing much was actually prepossessing expect that we've learn from Kirk that he was there when she was kidnapped or he was supposed to be watching her. After that the session ended.
Patterson, one that brings a bit of humor to the series, gets a little help from her boyfriend solving one of the tattoo puzzles. This one with two leaves together making a sign that is to the CDC where it's on the corner of two known leaves.
That help give the Kirk and the team, that includes Taylor, to go over to the CDC and check things out. But as soon as they get into their contamination room, a three numbers of codes where written on Taylor's face under ultraviolet light.
Those codes are of the highly contaminated viruses that they locked down in their Level 4 area, which is directly in the same building where they are in. With Kirk and Taylor going down to Level 4, Reade and Zapata stay and asked questions.
Taylor and Kirk along with one of the scientist finds out that one of each container is missing from its box. That was until someone pulled a called a lockdown in the building.
Kirk had a moment waiting for the lockdown to be over. He kind of freaks out being in cooped in a room for a longtime. The lockdown took more than two hours but soon that it was lifted, Reade and Zapata gets word to talk to Rebecca who was the one that started the lockdown took the vials of deadly diseases and set them in a suitcase at the airport. They couldn't catch Rebecca by the time they caught her, she killed herself and her husband.
The episode got intense when Kirk, Taylor and everyone tired to find the suitcase at the airport. As the everyone was evacuating the airport, they soon found the suitcase. As Reade, Taylor and Zapata get back to contamination, only Kirk stayed. As the head of CDC makes it in there to help, Kirk gets word from Patterson that the CDC guy is not but as the fight goes on, Taylor comes in and taglines with Kirk and knocked the guy down.
Once again, that scene was totally awesome. Kirk battles and than here comes Taylor and bam bam bam knocked out. There's something between these two that just seem so great with chemistry.
I was amazed how Reade gave a compliant to Taylor. But also talks about how he's not worried about how she does on the field but how Kirk is acting with her along. He explains that before, he was the guy that pulled crazy stuff in a split second, but until Taylor came, he's been careful.
But a twist at the end sets up more questions, Patterson talked to Kirk in private. Patterson tested the tooth that was left at the safehouse, she tested it and it come out that this was a baby tooth and that she was born in Africa. Kirk didn't believe it that he knows where she was born at, because he was there when they brought her home. Apparently Taylor Shaw isn't Taylor Shaw, so she's back as Jane Doe. The twist from the tooth.
And meanwhile Mayfair is getting pressure from CIA Tom Carter for him to meet with Jane. He needs to know that no one else knows what project Daylight is about, which seems like he wants to do something to her.
This episode wasn't disappointing at all. There was some intense scenes and of course some shockers that Jane isn't really Taylor Shaw. It seems that Kirk and Taylor work very well off on one another. I can't see where this is going and with a full season pick up something tells me that this season is going to have some really good moments.
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
Here's a promo for next week's episode.
