NBC Changes The Blacklist Season 6 Premiere
NBC has announced Tuesday that they are tweaking up the season six premiere of The Blacklist with a special Thursday premiere before it airs to its permanent Friday home.
In early November, NBC announced that The Blacklist would premiere its new Friday at 9/8c on January 4 with a special two-hour premiere. But plans have changed, the first hour of the two-parter will now air on Thursday, January 3 at 10/9c. It will be following the launch of the new reality show The Titan Games. And the second part of the episode will air on its regular time slot, Friday, Jan. 4 at 9/8c.
With the conclusion of Blindspot's fall fun on Friday, Dec. 7, Midnight, Texas will shift to Fridays at the 8/7c beginning at Dec. 14 with Dateline having the two-hour block. Blindspot will return to its Friday home on January 11th.
