#OneChicago Staging An Epic Three-Show Crossover

 

It's been five years, and the wait is finally over. 

TVLine has exclusively learned that Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD are plotting a one-night crossover event set to air later this season. The storyline centers on a massive explosion in an office building that upends the entire city. 

The Dick Wolf produced procedurally would regularly set up a sizeable upscale crossover (once a year) until COVID-19 hit. Then, the restrictions had brought the crossovers untenable. And even the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes had further complicated things as well.

The latest three-show #OneChicago crossover event occurred in October of 2019 and involved a bacteria outbreak just four months before COVID brought the entertainment industry to a halt.
