Perspective of Fear, Rage and Horror: Weekend Catch Up Part 6

Once again another weekend catch up. Here are this past week's episodes.

Royal Pains: "Lending a Shoulder" Season Finale

In the season finale (hopefully not series finale), a life, a death and a perspective life relationships and meanings.

Hank encounters someone from his past, his ex-fiance. As Hank treats a paient that's about to get married it turns out to be Nikki. Things blow over broad when Hank thinks that it was her that caused the break up but he realizes that it was his fault.

Divya doesn't make it in time to she her grandmother but makes a life perspective when she helps save a motorist in an accident and tells Hank that she wants to go to medical school. Plus her true love comes back to her.

As for Evan and Page, as the baby was coming, you can sense that somewhere soon that the mother was going to change her mind and keep the baby. But watching both Evan and Page go through that was tough to watch.

But the ending of this episode was far brilliant and felt like a true finale when Hank and Evan watched the sunset while drinking a beer. Hank can't get over how Evan has grown so much in the past seven years of them being together in the Hampton's.

This was a really good season finale. Some laughs and a lot of really good moments that I can't say enough about.

Until next season (Season 8) or as we love to say it "next summer." Which I would think that this season eight could be the end of the series. It will make it's 100th episode and each of the characters seems to be near the end of their journey and being happy.

You can catch "Royal Pains" next summer on USA Network.

Stitchers: "Fire in the Hole"

In this week's episode, a scientist is dead due to a virus that she was working on. But when Kristen and then gang try to find out what happen to her, things don't go the way they hope; not even on Kristen's birthday.

In this bottle episode, the gang tries to figure out the deal with the virus and the cure. The lab shuts down and one by one each member shows symptoms of the virus.

They can't get into any lab, so Camille goes inside the vents and unlock the door, but in this hilarious moment she encounters a rat and freaks out. I would too.

When hope feels lost, everyone makes a phone call to their love ones except Kristen as she tries to figure things out. Until her and Cameron talk and soon figure out that the virus can be killed by the heat.

There were some questions answered and mostly it was between Kristen and Maggie as she told her the truth about her and Kristen's mother.

Good episode, as I said there were some questions answered. Allison's character was once again hilarious. Her humor pulls off great and still reminds me of her on Warehouse 13.

Overall I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch "Stitchers" Tuesday nights at 9/8c on ABC Family.

Complications: "Fever"

Where does the line end for John? Just how far can he go doing these things and not get in trouble?

In this week's episode John is face to help a friend to get out of jail while stealing some drugs for business. When Gretchen's friend/collage is in jail and need bail money, only one guy can help but it will cost dearly to do so.

When Gretchen ask John for help, he really couldn't but when she tells him this plan she has about stealing chemo drugs for this guy, John still says no. But when John has a meeting with the guy, he not only talks to him but blackmails him as well.

John didn't want to but came up with three or more plans to get the job done but that didn't work because Gretchen likes to wing it. As they stole up to nearly ten boxes of drugs, John saw what the guy was doing and pretending to pass on fake stuff as the real stuff.

That set John mad and blows up the lab and goes into his rage again. I think he like being angry, he looks like he's enjoying it.

Meanwhile, John's wife was informed that the cop watch was going to end and freaked out that a gang car drove by slowly. When she talks to her dear friend about it, he tells her to look into what the detective has on her husband.

This episode was good. Love how Gretchen and John always argue about how they help and that it's for the same but in a different manner of helping.

Overall I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch "Complications" Thursday nights at 9/8c on USA.

Hannibal: "The Great Red Dragon"

It's the episode that we're all dying to see, Red Dragon aka the Tooth Fairy baby!!!

This episode started off with the introduction of the Tooth Fairy, exercising and getting his tattoo of The Great Red Dragon.

Meanwhile, we jump three years ahead in the story. Hannibal, of course, is in his special jail cell, Jack is still working for the FBI and Will is happy with his wife, son and dogs at the cabin.

As the Tooth Fairy strikes, Jack needs help from Will and pulls him back into the game. Will, who doesn't want to, decides to help on the case of this fugitive.

When Will checks out the murder scene, Will does what Will does best, vision his design and it look great. But in some why, he doesn't feel quite right about ti. Even dreaming about the murder family.

But it was at the end of the episode that Will goes to Jack and tells him that he's going to need some help, more of an opinion on the case. He wants to see Lecter and oh boy did that first meet since he was captured look great.

Also not to forget, Fredrick comes in and talks to both Lecter and Dr. Bloom. Hell Bloom had a talk with Lecter too and mostly was about Mason and how he kept his promises about Will.

This episode was great. The introduction of the Tooth Fairly was amazing well done. Hell I couldn't have wanted it either other way. Finally we get to see Will's  wife and son and not to mention Will being a profiler that he once was or is.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch "Hannibal" Saturday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

Listening to the Lies and Cheaters for the Unbelievable Turn: Weekend Catch Up Part 5

Another week has past and so has these shows. If you missed them here's a recap of this past week's shows.

Royal Pains: "Voices Carry"

In this week's episode, Hank takes a trip to New York with Olympia, but their date doesn't go to plan. As Olympia has a League of Nations with the health summit.

When Hank meets one of the doctors from another country, he sees his assistant in trouble and helps her.

It gets weird when that same assistant, starts having a stroke during the meeting.  Hank figures it out that the cause of the stroke was that of her boss's voice.

Meanwhile, Evan finds a secret that Boris has been keeping. This is after Evan feels left out of doing the work that he is suppose to do.

Dyvia in the meantime, is dealing with three men on her own and finally gets the divorce settled but who does she want to be with?

For one thing the medical situation in this episode was great. Vanessa Williams was excellent as Olympia and both her character and Hank hit it off quite well.

Overall I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch "Royal Pains" Tuesday nights at 10/9c on USA Network.

Stitchers: "Stitchers in the Rye"

When an former agent who runs a food truck business that was murdered, Kristen and the team found out who killed him in this very interesting episode of "Stitchers."

As the team investigates the murder of a former CIA agent, Kristen searches for what the victim did and what searches did he hide. When she sees where he kept his secret government files, the team rushes down there to retrieve it. But as Kristen takes on file, the truck was in self destruct mode and blew up.

That only left with a file that can only be used in an old Apple computer to say. Kristen remembers her past with Ed when he had a bunch of computers in the garage. She finds one and finds out that the victim had the files on the stitchers program. Talk about weird, right?

But as this goes on, weird events start to unfold, like Kristen receiving a book "The Catcher and the Rye," and receiving strange spam text messages. That would all piece together as Marta was luring Kristen and trying to take her away from the program.

This episode was probably one of it's best. There's a lot of tension between Kristen and Maggie right now and at the end you kind want to just kick Maggie's behind after talking to a mysterious person in the garage.

All in all, I give this episode a 7/10. If you are a fan of "Catcher and the Rye" you might be liking this episode as there was a theme to it.

You can catch "Stitchers" Tuesday nights at 9/8c on ABC Family.

Suits: "Compensation"

Hell in High Water comes in the Harvey-Donna-Lewis triangle.

When Lewis tries to make things right with Harvey, he does it by standing up to Harvey when Jack proposes of the new pay structure that will have Lewis making more than Harvey. Of course, that back fires and Lewis goes out and shares Harvey's last pay statements. And after all that, things just gets heated up more and more.

Meanwhile, Rachel has dinner with her father. But during hat dinner her father gives her a prenup. This turns heads between both of them and when Mike finds out, he deals with the situation head on  face to face. Does Rachel love Mike with all her heart? Do you think that this relationship will last forever?

"Compensation" was a very intense episode. There were a lot of humorist moments. One of which, Harvey interviewing clients for Donna's replacement. Another is hearing Lewis yelling about his turf toe.

All in all, I give this episode a 8/10. The icing on the cake about this episode is that the new of the series getting picked up for a sixth season.

You can catch "Suits" Wednesday nights at 9/8c on USA.

Mr. Robot: "Eps1.1ones-andzer0es.mpeg"

War soon to start!

In this episode, Elliot gets torn between a job offer from Evil Corp and joining fsociety  But he needs to make a decision on whether or not that his decision will to help will harm the people around him.

Watching Elliot and Shayla, I find interesting that even though she gives him the drugs, there could be something between them.

By the way, what is the difference between Blue Cross and Blue Shield? He makes a great argument of that with his therapist.

And someone's watching from the inside of Angela's place.

This episode was by far amazing. I can't get enough of this episode that I want to see more and more after it ends. Rami Malek is certainly going to get nomination for his role in this series, from Golden Globes to possibly Emmy.

You can catch "Mr. Robot" Wednesday nights at 10/9c on USA Network.

Aquarius: "A Whiter Shade of Pale" & "Cease to Resist"

In this two episodes,, Manson recovers from a beat down from Hodiak. While Hodiak helps Shafe figure out who is tormenting his family in their neighborhood. As for the second episode Hodiak investigates a celebrity's murder.  While Emma and Sadie meet up with someone special from Manson's past.

These two episodes were good and somewhat interesting. There's been to much arguing from Hodiak and his two ladies his ex and his on and off girlfriend.

This series with each episode gets amazing and amazing every week. And I do watch it week after week. Even though I do DVR it.

You can catch "Aquarius" Thursday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

Hannibal: "Contorno"

The offer of riches from Mason threatens to put Inspector Pazzi off his quest for redemption. Meanwhile Will and Chiyoh travels to Florence in search of Hannibal and of course Bloom is worried for everyone's safety.

A former girlfriend/friend Chiyoh describes to Will about how she met with Hannibal. She might have a code of not killing but it doesn't bother her.

Jake moves on after his wife's death as he dumps her ashes in the river and throws his wedding ring too.

Hell all I want to talk about is that amazing fight scene with Hannibal and Jack. Holy crap!!! Jack beats the crap out of Hannibal but in the end, Hannibal won when he was pushed off the edge of the window and landed on his feet walking away.

Now things start to get crazy!!!!

Overall, I give the episode a 10/10.

You can catch "Hannibal" Thursday night at 10/9c on NBC

Complicated: "Immune Response"

This week's episode of "Complications," Gretchen makes an expensive arrangements to hide the boy and does it in a Gretchen way.

John asked the gang for money but if he needs money, he's going to have to get his hands a bit dirty and does it by robbery. The only way to do it right?

And John's wife, Samantha is testing her relationship with John in a way that she wants to know what is going on with him.

It's another tense episode that's filled with on the edge drama.

Overall I give it a 8/10.

You can catch "Complications" Thursday nights at 9/8c on USA Network.

Graceland: "Chester Cheeto"

This week's episode of "Graceland" Briggs tries to keep things under control with Ari Adamian. It does seem to go well at all.

And in a game changer, Charlie struggles with the decision to terminate her pregnancy.

It's a good episode. It's not how the previous one was but it's close to being an average episode with some moments that's fills you up.

All in all, I give this episode a 6/10.

You can catch "Graceland" Thursday nights at 10/9c on USA Network.

Clipped: "Go Below"

In this week's episode of "Clipped" Danni suspects that AJ is seeing Charmaine as they take a Spanish class together and in the meantime, Ben has a one night stand with a neighbor.

When Ben feels all alone after the gang leaves to do other stuff. Ben feels left out and drinks his beer, when one of the sisters next door was duping cat poop out the window. As they argued, they decided drink together and there's the phrase "Go Below" comes into play.

As for Danni, when she learns that AJ and Charmaine are taking a Spanish class together. She deals with unfinished business with him. But when AJ  got the hint about how Charmaine's hands are amazing, he checks her out while they are studying and eating Chinese food.

Charmaine does to Danni and tells her that she needs to confront the issue that she's been dealing with. Danni goes to AJ's apartment and tries to be cool with it but the tension couldn't be bare and she went at him and also had a one night stand.

Funny, dirty and some awkward moments in this episode.  Love how they use the phrase "Go Below" as a meaningful term and probably will be used.

Overall I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch "Clipped" Tuesday nights at 10/9c on TBS

Seeing and Realizing Can Be Complicated and Awkward: Weekend Catch Up Part 4

Another weekend catch up on shows that I've missed watching this week but watched it this weekend. Here are this week's weekend catch up recaps.

Stitchers: "I See You"

This week's episode deals with a bit of a Rear Window type of thing when a victim is murdered by looking snooping with his telescope.

When Kristen and the gang look into it, they find that the key is whatever he was spying on. They do his spying and spot a couple of interesting and thoughtful suspects but they turned out to be not.

When Kristen returns to stitching the victim one more time, she spots a clothing store with the owner given a code by using the mannequin. While Linus and Camille are eyeing the view, Kristen and Cameron take a look at the apartment across that had the window curtains closed. They can't seem to find the room number until it was hidden beyond the wall.

Kristen finds passports and they figured that it was an illegal trafficking. As the van pulls in, Kristen and Cameron get there before he leaves and Kristen gave suspect the look suggestion just as he did with the victim.

A case of snooping where you shouldn't be snooping. This episode was fun and some what predictable at times. Like the couple that were arguing in their apartment and as they went in another room, blood was splattered on the wall.

Another thing to know about in this episode: Cameron has nightmares and is trying to prevent the events of what happen last time. It's something that he doesn't seem to let it go like Maggie.

Also not to mention that there has been a spy going in and Stitchers and out. Caused a little problem with the systems when Maggie was along. Who could this person be? Could it be Marta? Kristen's father?

Overall I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch "Stitchers" Tuesday nights at 9/8c on ABC Family.

Royal Pains: "The Prince of Nucleotides"

In this episode of "Royal Pains" Hank treats a patient who happens to be transgender. When the patient suffers from DVT (deep vein thrombus), Hank takes her and treats her. On the way, she tries to be a girl and soon later realize that she has a blood disorder and can't get any of the hormonal therapy.

But when someone punches her at camp, Hank's there to help calm her down and treat her. At the end, he goes see her play that she'd choreographed  and with a little more research, Hank offered her an idea if she wants to take hormonal therapy. She agrees and hopefully her parents would agree too.

Meanwhile, Evan builds a fundraiser hoping to gets to donations to support the genetic research. But when Jeremiah's old college friend stops by, it's not just to catch up with old times.

Evan and Paige comes to thinking of adoption and met with a mother who's expecting. Soon, after an awkward meet and greet, they get a call from that mother and she chooses them to adopt her baby.

And not to mention that Divya and Prince Quami are hitting it off quite well. Even though Divya is trying to make things workout with her child's father. She's grown closer to Quami as he is too.

This episode was well told and well written with a great message about transgender.
Vanessa Williams guest starred in this episode as a millionaire who Evan wants her donation. After Hank visits her to an appointment about sleeping pills. She also bid for a one night date with Hank, who Evan planned for the fundraiser.

Overall I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch "Royal Pains" Tuesday night at 10/9c on USA Network.

Complications: "Onset"

In this week's episode of "Complications" Gretchen gets in some more trouble than she assumes and asked Ellison for help.

After trying to help a beaten patient get her stuff from her boyfriend, things gets complicated when the boyfriend pulls a gun on her and her friend. But the Gretchen's friend, who's a big high, tackles the guy and breaks his finger, Gretchen is overwhelmed from what had happen.

When Gretchen takes the patient's things, the boyfriend tries to tell the truth but than pisses her off and she hits him with a waffle iron. He lands on the glass table where he's cut and not speaking.

She calls Ellison for help, when he gets there the guy isn't breathing so he pulls a piece of glass out of his throat.

With this going on, Ellison has an appointment with his client's friends. When they met, they soon met with the boy's father who tells the doctor that he'll treat his son as along as he say he does. Getting a bit too much for Ellison, there's even more than that.

When Bridget gets a visitor of a former patient's relative, a sister, about the mishap of the death notice and billing of surgery. She help corrected it and told her how it happen. The sister got upset that her brother killed himself in the hospital under her care. That gave Bridget a whole lot of problems to deal with.

In the meantime, Ellison gets back and finds the boyfriend tied up and soon to lose his finger if he doesn't get any treatment. When Gretchen comes back, they both have a heated argument, but after they
re argument, the boyfriend runs into his car and drives off but soon crashes in the woods.

Ellison tells the guy that he can't tell the police that Gretchen and him did this because if he does, he could be killed the the gang that he works.

That worked and soon Ellison gets back home, brings the milks that his wife asked for and talks to his father, who they have a bad history.

This episode was well thrilling and entertaining. I couldn't get enough of Gretchen and her friend in a tight situation between the boyfriend hurt and the hospital files in review.

Overall this episode was an 8/10.

You can catch "Complications" Thursday nights at 9/8c on USA Network.

Graceland: "B-Positive"

In the season premiere of "Graceland" the wait is finally over, is Mike really dead?

Well, no and that's the good part. Mike had to pretend that he was dead to capture Sid, who Paige is now trying to capture. She's trying to do what she did wrong and Paul isn't quite happy with her after Mike's accident.

In the meantime, Paul is taking undercover for a case to take down one of the gangs that steals organs. Thinking that he has backup behind him, he goes through one of the worst days probably ever and soon takes it out on the captain.

As Mike recovers, after learning what Paige was doing with Sid, he had to stop it. As Paige was moments away from meeting with Sid, Mike comes and gets Sid running away. After what went down and after last season, Paige puts in her transfer to move out of the house. Paul is fine with it but not the others.

But it wasn't over when Johnny picks Sid up and drives off.

This was a really good start of the new season. It gave that new sense if you haven't seen the series before, this would be a great one to tune in for.

It was thrilling and electrifying. I can't wait to see what comes next this season.

Overall I give this a 8/10.

You can catch "Graceland" Thursday nights at 10/9c on USA Network.

Clipped: "Pilot" & "Dreamers"

TBS has a new comedy series "Clipped" from the creators of "Will & Grace" David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.

The series centers with a group of co-workers that went to high school together but been around different people. But they are barbers at Buzzy's barbershop. The series starts Mike Castle and Ashley Tisdale. They play best friends, who had relationship history in high school but are best friends.

In the pilot  AJ gets a call from a sports agent about joining the majors and it gets him excited. But with Ben, the boss of the shop, pressures the gang to quit, AJ steps in and calls it quits . But Danni talks him out and after he quit it, she along with the gang quits too.

It stops Ben from firing anyone and decides to keep everyone and pay the raise in the insurance payment.

In the second episode, AJ still wants to go out for his dream as a ball player. There's a tryout and tells Danni that he's going to try it, but Danni talks him out of it and tells him that dreams die when you reach an age.

After AJ talks to her about dreams, Danni thinks about her dreams about becoming a singer. That lead her to perform for a Diabetes fundraiser. After the gang watches her perform, Charmaine talks to Danni and tells her that she tried AJ the wrong way.

Danni relazines and takes AJ to tryout where he didn't get in but was asked to comeback.

I've watched a few comedy series on TBS from "My Boys" and "Sullivan and Sons." "Clipped" seems to be a simple comedy. There are some funny moments in the show and in these two episodes there were more than a few to get by.

With George Wendt as Buzzy and Reginald VelJohnson as Tommy in the pilot episode. They play gay lovers that probably stand out. Watching two classic 80's stars getting that one moment was hilarious.

Diona Reasonover and Lauren Lapkus are very good and have some hilarious moments. Rayn Pinkston as Ben, resembles the characters as Seth Green.

All in all, "Clipped" is a good show, it's got some humorist moments and some real awkward moments too.

Overall I give the two episodes 6/10.

You can catch "Clipped" Tuesday nights at 10/9c on TBS

Observing: Royal Pain "Playing Doctor"

This week's episode of "Royal Pains" takes Hank on one of his best times as he finds the new him.

When a hot actor comes to the ER for a deep cut on his arm, Evan referred him to Hank. After watching how Hank treats the cut and asking him so many questions, he asked if he could follow Hank for observing for a role that he's doing.

Hank agreed and well, let's just say that a lot of the patients (mostly the women) were amazed to watch him. But later on Hank does learn a bit from the actor, that would be visiting his mother's grave for the first time in 25 years.

In the meantime, Evan hopes that people would be moved by his weekly video blog. As soon as he posted it, everyone very  much enjoyed it. But when Hank see it, they both understood why everyone was proud of him. He accidentally had his test results pop up on the page when the video is playing.

You know for a second there when hearing everyone telling Evan about the video, I thought it was that they saw Evan and Page going at it.

As for Divya, she's fighting for custody of her child after the online news and photos show how an unfit mother she is. When she visits a patient who ask for a blood test and gives her the sample. She literally told him that she can't take it and either that she can take the blood sample in person or she informs his refusal.

The patient agreed and was happy with the results. It was to help make a decision on whether or not he and this lady would get married. Apparently his father setting up an arrange marriage. That's where Divya helps him by telling him to stand up and refuse. Of course, he did and thanked her for it, by which she did the same thing to the father of her child on the phone.

At the end of this episode it was a real heartwarming moment when Hank finally got to visit his mother;s grave for the first time since she passed. He did tell that actor that she pushed him for so long that after she died he's still trying to get her approval.

It was a real brotherly moment right there.

I found this episode hilarious and well heart warming that came near the end. I loved how Hank deals with the actor following him around. There were some scenes that felt a bit predictable but the episode didn't suffer that bad from it.

I give this episode 8/10 it was good.

You can catch "Royal Pains Tuesday night at 10/9c on USA Network.

Relationship Search: Royal Pains Season Seven "Rebound"/"False Start"

In this short, eight episode season, the one thing that will be focus on this season is Hank finding love. We all know that Hank has always been about taking care of others medically and friendly too.

We know that in the past he hasn't had a successful relationship, but with Jill. Heck, I would think that when Jill left that the only relationship would be with Dr. Emily Peck. I just find those two with chemistry.

So in the first two episodes of which I have a feeling is the final season of "Royal Pains." Evan and Paige are planning their next step in their marriage parenthood. When Evan freaks out that he may be a father to other children when he was a donor at the sperm bank because he wanted a sandwich. They found out that they didn't use his sperm because he was at a low dose.

Also Paige might have a genetic condition that could be the cause of what she had experience in the first episode of being pregnant and turning out later she wasn't.

In while that was going on Divya becomes the mother that no one likes. When she was trying to save a life, her child was taken away from her because she left him alone. That threw a fit and she was arrested for pushing an officer. And oh yeah, it was video taped and posted on the web for everyone to see.

Now she has to fight for custody for her child as the father finds her to be an unfit mother. Which in out case as a fan of the show that she really isn't.

And of course that leaves Hank. Hank goes on a date with a lovely lady but when she slept overnight outside of the house, she has an allergic reaction. Hank races to action to find out what's the cause. Turns out that she had a late reaction to the meat that she had thanks tot he alcohol.

That date might not turn out the way he had hope but heck he saved a life. When Hank has an appointment with a triathlon runner, who 's trying to impress a lady. When he's been getting dizzy and well not feeling well. Hank treats him and with that gets advice on online dating.

Rest to sure that the guy turned out to have condition where he need to have something to put a stint in. And as for Hank, he has a date with this lady who loves to listen to the Mets and they play to listen to the 86' Mets game.

That date turned out to be with the same lady who he had dinner the other night that had the allergic reaction. She apologized for her recent date and hope that he would give her a second chance. He does and they start with a bottle of wine.

With everything that this show as given the characters. I just have this feeling that this will be the finale season of the series. I feel like the series should end with Hank finding that special someone, even if it might not be Jill or Emily. Who knows?

The first two episodes of the season was very good.  I did enjoyed the watching Evan freaking out about being a dad to other children out there. Seeing his face in other kids.

I give both episodes a 8/10.

You can catch Royal Pains Tuesdays at 10/9c on USA Network.
