Tuesday Night Premiere Comedies & Screaming Drama

Scream Queens:  "Chainsaw"

The search for the killer is on. For Gracie and Pete they might be closer to who it might be.

This episode had a lot of throwback themes from film and music. One of them that stood out was when Chad and his gang went out on revenge to get the Red Devil killer for killing Boone. The song "Everybody" by Backstreet Boys was playing and it was literally hilarious and ridiculous as they were hitting a fire hydrogen and a red car.

Now there's two killers out there dress up as Red Devils. So there might be a duo that's doing this. Maybe Chanel #2 and Boone.

I couldn't get enough air time with Deam Munsch and Gigi as they are in love with Gracie's father, Wes. They had a nice conversation in the tennis court and Munsch decides that they will be staying in the capa house for a week.

In one scene, Munsch was about to go to bed but turns on the white noise machine and made Gigi sleep down stairs. Well, as she sleeps, the Red Devil appears with a chainsaw and tries attacking Gigi until Wes comes in and tries stopping it. But it was Gigi that kick the Devil over the couch. But it disappeared before anyone could stop it.

Billie Lord as Chanel #3 is pretty good on this show. Her character spells a secret that her real dad is Charlie Manson. Also this could be Lea Michele best work as Hester. Hester might be dumb and obsess but she might be smart enough to cause trouble between Chanel and Chanel #5.

This episode had a lot more humor than drama. There was a lot of good character development and performances from this cast was really good.

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Scream Queens Tuesday nights at 9/8c on FOX

Grandfathered & The Grinder "Pilot"

Two legendary actors come back to television in one of their best work since well the last best thing that they've done.

Let's start with Grandfathered, about a womanizer man who tries to win everyone's charm with his top fancy restaurant. Until he gets awake up call from his 25 year old son along with another surprise...a granddaughter.

John Stamos is amazing in this role. He's best since Full House as a comedy but I can't forget that he was also great in ER as well. There are some similarities between his character and Uncle Jessie when you see the montage of him spending time with his granddaughter.

Overall I enjoyed and it might be one of the best new shows of the fall.

The other comedy is The Grinder and it stars Rob Lowe.

It about how a television star that just ended a hit show about being a lawyer, comes back to visit with his family. His little brother, played by Fred Savage, is a lawyer is not a very good one at first. He literally has to read cards when presenting. It's so awkward and hilarious. But when Lowe's character helps his brother with a case, something that he has no knowledge about, it becomes a helpful and great media coverage.

In the end, the two will join forces and work together to fight for justice.

I very much enjoyed this show. There were so many great moments from Lowe's character acting like his character on television, Savage being the dorky brother lashes out his feelings in writing them down in cards.

This is Lowe's best work since Parks and Recreation. But nothing should very top that show so I would just say that it's a second best thing Lowe has done since Parks.

Overall I give Grandfathered a 9/10 and The Grinder a 9.5/10.

You can catch Grandfathered and The Grinder Tuesday nights at 8/7c on FOX.
