Confidants: Supergirl "Fight or Flight"

As Supergirl is still getting the hang of being a superhero, as questions are being ask if she needs her big cousin Superman for help when she can't handle it.

After giving an interview to Cat, Kara gives her some information that was accidentally said: that she's Superman's cousin. When word gets out, it triggers one of Superman's enemies, Reactron.

Reactron seeks revenge after losing not just himself but his wife as well in a nuclear accident. The battle between them didn't do well in the first two, as they both equally match. But it was during the second battle that Kara had to be rescued by her cousin thanks to Olsen.

Upset that Olsen doesn't think she can do it, Kara makes a case to him and everyone that Supergirl doesn't need her big cousin for help. That came during Cat's party of the showing of her magazine cover of Supergirl. Reactron comes back looking for Supergirl.

Not only did Supergirl came, but got a little bit of help from Olsen as he was bait of getting Reactron out of the building. Kara gets word from the DOE of how to defeat him and uses lead to stop the reactor in the guy's chest suit.

Kara isn't the only one who's learning how to fight crime, that includes Olsen as well. Olsen got scared of the dangers that Kara could be in and mentions that he has called Superman way too many times in the past with his watch that he gave Olsen.

But I think that Kara has overcome the odds to what Olsen and even Cat had in her article.

I really enjoyed this episode a lot. There is so much growth going on so far after the pilot that I'm amazed how its coming along. Kara is falling in love with Olsen but as soon as she tries to ask him out, his ex comes back, Lois Lane's sister, how awkward?!

The one moment that I really like was when Kara gets a message from Clark congratulating her on beating Reactron and also that saving her was not going to happen again. Along that she's grown so much from how he first started out. That's got to be real comfort. That kind of set a tone to her and build confident.

Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

You can catch Supergirl Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Friends in Low Places: Blindspot "Persecute Envoys"

When two cops are murdered with a message, it seems that Jane has a tattoo about this event occurring. Can Jane and the team stop the killer and can Kurt trust Mayfair after she tells him about project Daylight?

A tattoo of a knife and the number 65 got the attention after two NYPD officers were gun down with a message saying "butchers are butchered." Getting a little freaky, they FBI team takes over the investigation from the NYPD.

As Kurt and the team talk to one of the victim's partners and talked about the cameras that they're wearing. When the look back at the video tapes from the victim's camera, they see pro football player Ricky Holt pushing at him with threats.

Kurt and Kapata try to talk with Holt but when Kurt showed his badge Holt ran and ran he went. Both Kurt, Reade and Zapata couldn't get him until Jane comes with a nice tackle. Jane seems to know how to take down a guy even if she did trip him.

Holt told them that he was threaten by what the cops had on him and asked for over $50,000 in return. All because of photos of him with a guy.

Soon word got out that the victim's partner was killed with the same message as her partner had. So what they were thinking was that its coming fro inside the NYPD. And it did with two cops making a run to clean up shop. They make to one of the victim's house to try to talk but when Kurt called they raced to get there.

There was war when Kurt and Jane got there. Jane takes the victim's member with her outside til Kurt gets sonic blasted. Jane gets one while Kurt shoots the other one dead.

Mayfair tells the Captain about what just happen, he freaks out and needs to see the wounded suspect. She takes him to her when on the ride there, Mayfair figured out that the Captain was in on it too but as she tries to get her gun, he pulls one on her.

But she pulled a fast one by crashing her car and injuring the captain.

After the arguing since last week's episode and today's Kurt and Mayfair might have settled down the hack just a bit. We also got to learn a much need backstory of Mayfair as she and two other deputy officers as they were assign Project Daylight. Mayfair had a relationship with one of the deputies but when things weren't looking good she wanted to leave but Mayfair didn't.

But we found out that Mayfair's girlfriend committed suicide because of the stress of what the project had become.

Jane tries in the episode to get close to Kurt by having him open up but he tries to by making a joke of his lost hearing. Also, Jane and Zapata have made quite a bond. After their night out, Zapata gets stop by the CIA deputy and demands her to get information on Jane as the return favor from borrowing money to pay her debut. Zapata is in big trouble.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode. Enjoyed watching the backstory of Mayfair with project daylight that took away her relationship. I kind of understand why she does what she does. I think it's going to take a while for Kurt to trust Mayfair.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

We're just one episode away til the Fall Finale. Things look like are going to pick up quick and twist are coming.

Spectre review

Bond is back. James Bond reporting for duty and this time we get to dive a bit more into his past as he works undercover from MI6.

In the aftermath of the death of former M, Bond is on a mission that not even the new M and the team don't know about, that she had asked him in a video to hunt and kill a man that's link to a dangerous organization. With Bond blowing the crap up in Mexico, it doesn't give the MI6 a good look as a new enforcer comes in to take over their place.

As Bond hunts someone of his past, but the name at first might not be familiar to everyone but when he gives his new name, you will differently remember him. And when him and Bond meet, Bond finds out that he was the one who sent out the villains from Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall and deaths just to make Bond feel more pain.

There's a lot of action and great dialogue in the film. I was amazed of the car chase scene. Just watching Bond drive just makes you think that you are him driving that beast of a car. Along with the cars, the fight with M. Hinx was amazing and made me think of the characters Jaws and Oddjob.

The Daniels gives a great performance along with Waltz as the villain. Plus Ben Whishaw as Q, he got a lot of story time in this film. It's probably the first time that I've seen Q in a lot of scenes since Licences to Kill.  But I was stunted by the performance of Lea Seydooux, who playing a strong female character that she could be ranked up to the top with the other Bond Women.

I can't leave out the opening credits "Writing on the Wall" by Sam Smith. After Adele's Oscar winning song of Skyfall, Smith wrote and made another masterpiece that brings thrills but haunting to the movie that gets me excited. I believe this song will be another award winning hit.

Overall, I was amazed out this film came out and didn't realize that through out Daniel's Bond films that it was a trilogy after all. Well, it had the feeling to it, if none of you agree on that. If Daniels does decide to leave (which I think he'll do one more) that he leaves it all on a high note.

Overall, I give this film a 9/10.

Spectre is in theaters everywhere now and in IMAX.
