Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows | Trailer #2 | Paramoun...

The latest new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been released and it looks totally rad!!!

The story dives int the ooze that help made the turtles and Beepbob and Rocksteady. But if the turtles tied it, they would turn human and it looks like Ralph is the only one who wants to turn human.

Hell, I can't wait for this film. Looks like they dive right into the television series with the colorful tone than the previous film.

TMNT Out of the Shadows comes out on June 8th.

The Blacklist Spinoff Has It's Lead Actor

A couple of weeks ago there was word that a spinoff of The Blacklist was in the works in an episode in May. With Famke Janssen getting the lead actress role now Ryan Eggold is officially in as the lead role.

Deadline.com reports that Eggold "has closed a deal to play the male lead." He'll be reprising his role as the covert op Tom Keen aka Jacob Philips.

If the spinoff is a go, Eggold will be the star of the series of the new series with possible crossover appearances on The Blacklist. But if it's not a go than Eggold will stay on the The Blacklist, resuming his duties as a regular.

The backdrop episode will air on May 12th and it will be written by creator/executive producer Joe Bokenkamp and executive producer/showrunner John Eisendrath.

For what's being heard, the spinoff will be focus on the relationship between Susan "Scottie" Halsted (Janssen) and Tom (Eggold), which are to be alike of Raymond "Red" Reddington and Liz Keen, with Scottie as Tom's handler.

In the spinoff, Jessen and Eggold are being joined by The Blacklist recurring player Edi Gathegi and a new character Tawny Cypress.

The spinoff is created by Bokenkamp and Eisendrath and produced by The Blacklist producers of John Fox and John Davis.

The Blacklist returns this Thursday at 9/8c on NBC, with a can't miss episode that will have you on hyper drive.

Shades of Blue A Season Finale that's Must See

Ever since January 7th, there has been no other show getting major buzz on Thursday nights at 10/9c like Shades of Blue. For week after week, the show has been thrilling us with unbelievable moments. And as tonight's the season finale, it's gonna be the mother of all season finales.

If you don't know or haven't heard of Shades of Blue, it's about a NYPD detective Harlee Santos (played by Jennifer Lopez), who's a single mother dealing with financial issues. She gets caught by the FBI anti-corruption task force and has to decide whether to do the right thing for her daughter or cover up for her corrupt co-workers.

From the moment episode one ends, you're on this ride that you can't and don't want to get off. There are so many twist and turns for this cop drama that it's not your typical cop drama at all. It's basically a character driven cop drama.

Lopez gives her best performance in this series. I'm already given her an Emmy nod. She's been nothing but unbelievable and half the time it's not only her but this great ensemble cast. Ray Liotta, gives a great performance as Harlee's captain, mentor and friend. So does Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos) too. And Warren Kole (Common Law) gives an amazing performance that gets into your skin as the FBI anti-corrupt task force leader and Harlee's handler. With great acting comes great writing and this series has great writing.

Tonight is the season finale, if you missed episodes you can download the NBC app and watch the full season episodes. Less than a month after the series premiered, the show gets picked up for a second season.

What's being said about the finale is that you need to brace yourself. Lopez tells The Jess Cagle Interview with People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly editorial director, "All I can say is that I don't know where we go from here. When we were doing the last scenes for the last episode in that last week,  I was like 'what the hell are we doing?' Oh my god, it's riveting. I'll tell you that much."

You can catch the season finale of Shades of Blue tonight at 10/9c on NBC.

A "Blacklist" Spinoff?

It seems that NBC has been hitting the success button with spinoff shows, take example the Chicago series (Fire, PD, Med and soon to be Justice). Now the Peacock network is looking into The Blacklist for another show.

TVLine is reporting that NBC "is developing a spinoff of The Blacklist," that will have Famke Janssen (How to Get Away with Murder) as the lead role.

The backdoor pilot episode is set to air May 12th as Janssen will play Susan "Scottie" Halsted, who'll be introduced into the show a week earlier, May 5th.

There's a rumor that Blacklist regular Ryan Eggold would have a major role in the project, that gives Tom and Scottie's relationship just like Liz and Red's relationship dynamic.

TVLine says that a source "stresses that there is currently no series commitment for the spinoff "and "a decision will likely be made in May."

In addition to the spinoff news, TVLine has learned that Edi Gathegi, who plays Mr Solomon in the series, has closed a deal to co-star in the spinoff.

As a viewer and a fan of The Blacklist, this does seem interesting but also a bit scary to see a spinoff come from this show. How different would it be from the original series is something tough to get off.

Nothing is set in stone or in contract so let's just see where these two episodes will go.

You can catch The Blacklist as the show returns Thursday, April 7th at 9/8c with a wedding that can't be missed.

Son of Krypton vs The Dark Knight: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

This was literally the one movie I was dying to see. The one film that was circled on my calendar coming four days later after my birthday. And after seeing it yesterday, I was not disappointed at all.

I truly enjoyed this movie a lot. From Ben Affleck's performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman which outstanding. Affleck really showed the true dark side of the Dark Knight. The fight scenes, the car chases and yes even that not to long not to short of a fight between him and Superman was amazing.

My brother, Alex, thought that scene when Superman was getting his strength back and Batman punches him until he sees his hand a bit smashed, backing away with his hand up saying wait was hilarious. I have to agree with that too.

Cavill's performance as Superman was good. He's character is trying to make what he is to the world and the world is in separate sides after the events in Man of Steel. The chemistry between Cavill and Amy Adams, as Lois Land, can't be beat. Near the end I was shedding some tears myself and I wasn't the only one in the theatre to do so.

Jesse Eisenberg was great, crazy and insane but great. This Lex Luther seems to be younger than Superman and Batman and tries to play with the big boys and does it quiet well. There were some scenes that had me seating back and looking at my brother with a look that he's getting crazy dangerous. Hell, the scenes with Holly Hunter was great. I didn't think it was going to be that good but hell there was some sexually tension between one another and that scene when she sees a jar of "grandma's sweet peach tea" seating I think we all knew that Lex is that bad.

Of course, I don't believe in what some of the critics are saying of this film. Yeah, I do agree with some others that the story was a bit long. I don't care I always asked for a longer movie in this genre. Yeah the fight between Superman and Batman was a bit short to our expectations, so it fit just fine with me.

Gal Gadot's performance was great. Even though we knew who she is and all, she played Dana perfectly long with Affleck. And her introduction as Wonder Woman was outstanding. Hell, the score was mind blowing.

And I can't forget Jeremy Irons performance as Alfred was amazing. He was the most active Alfred in all of the Batman films. Not only given Affleck's character advice but being sarcastic and hilarious. Probably my favorite Alfred along with Michael Gough.

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice was a very good film. It was better than Man of Steel and Batman Begins to say the least. It's a Zack Snyder film and if you remember Man of Steel, he does stretch the film out a bit. I literally can't wait to see the blu-ray edition when it's release to see more of what they didn't show.

Loved that scene when all three heroes lineup together against Doomsday. I think I wasn't the only one that was full of excitement and shedding some tears a bit too. And seeing the rest of the soon to be Justice League was amazing. Those were enough clips to see them from The Flash, Aquaman and Cybrog.

The ending of the film was remarkable as it felt like The Dark Knight Returns but only for Superman.

I loved it. I'm dying to see it again. I can't wait to see the rest of the DC Universe films.

Overall, I give it a 9/10.

Batman V. Superman Dawn of Justice is in theaters now.
