So What's the Plan? Parenthood: "Too Big to Fail"

In this week's episode of "Parenthood" we learn that from our first mistake, that there is a solution to a problem and sometimes loves comes in different ways.

In this episode we jump to three months in advance. Amber is somewhat around four to five months pregnant, Drew is looking for a major and things get a lot weird with Max and Dylan.

We see how Hank and his daughter, Ruby, dealing with the facts of father and daughter relationships. Ruby wants to go to a party with a friend and Hank doesn't seem to get it and soon decides to say no. With the help of Sarah, they do a family game night, with Sarah and Amber up against Hank and Ruby.

With the champions looking to be Sarah and Amber, it seems that Hank and Ruby are not connecting to one another as they take their turn. Soon after a couple of minutes, Ruby gets upset and runs off after trying to get him to guess the word, which was peanut, the one thing that she's allergic to.

Soon Ruby sneaks out and goes to a party, but we see her only coming back from the part where Amber sees her. As Ruby is having a hard time getting herself together, from drinking too much, Amber rushes to her and helps Ruby into the bathroom.

It's one of those moments that just makes you have kids watch this to understand what the outcome of drinking at a party can lead to for say.

Later on, Amber wakes up Ruby and gives her a cup of coffee. She talked to her about how she couldn't be doing this, talking about how her dad is trying his best and telling her that her own dad never come for her. It's like we see the past Amber and future Amber at one and see how much Amber has grown so much this whole series.

Soon, Ruby comes out, apologizes to her dad and Sarah and tells them that she had fun. It was a real life change for the character of Ruby and I know that it's only one moment but one moment can change a life, right?

Meanwhile, Crosby and Adam are trying to figure things out with their business. As it has been known, they lost their star and their business isn't doing to well. Crosby is worried about what's going to happen, with the business but also with his family as well.

Crosby comes clean to Jasmine about what's really going on. She's upset but not that upset. She tells him that she doesn't care what happens to the house or business, as long as she and their family have him, they will be fine.

As that's going on, Adam and Crosby are trying to figure things out, not only about their business but also with Amber and her salary. With Amber being somewhat four to five months pregnant, I think. With a child on the way and baby stuff being at a high of  price to buy; Amber thinks that after working with Adam and Crosby that she deserves to have a rise. Which she rightful does.

But when Adam and Crosby talk about it, Adam tells Crosby that she should have been fired a year ago. That's when Amber heard that and walked out. But Adam and Crosby talked to her and told her that Adam has a plan. But Adam admitted that he doesn't have a plan but will do everything to find a solution and give her a rise.

As for Drew, he's trying to find a major, while his girlfriend tells him to relax and not to worry. He goes to Adam for some advice and give him advice upon saying that Drew should find what he wants to do to earn money, not to find a job that makes a lot of money. That's what I got out of it. Crosby thinks that you should find a job that pays a lot.

And of course, Dylan and Max. What a couple these two are right? I'm really amazed of how Max is growing up and learning about relationships. I really enjoy Ally Ioannides' character, Dylan. My favorite scene in the episode is when Max and Dylan are in his room, talking and soon Adam and Kristina walk by the room. Of course, Max, without even looking, knows that they were snooping and shuts the door. Looks like Adam and Kristina needs a lesson in snooping 101.

Also learning about Dylan and how she loves Max's family more than her own is really making think that we should see her parents. Maybe she lives by herself? Kristina really likes her now so things seem to be all well between those two.

I really enjoyed, learned and felt the experience in this episode. I felt the experience in Drew's little storyline of trying to find a major and getting a job to help the family.

Also with Adam and Crosby's business not doing well, I can understand by how my grandfather's business isn't doing well either and with a death of his business partner and best friend it's harder to keep it, but it's good to have good friends to help you at a time in need that knows a lot of your business.

Next week's episode will be dealing with Julia and Joel, is this really the end of it? Joel needs to fight for her no matter what happens. Joel and Julia, in my opinion, should be together.

You can catch "Parenthood" Thursday nights 10/9c on NBC.
