Life in Pieces Gets Full Season

Looks like the Short family is staying a little longer at CBS.

The eye network announced on Tuesday that a new freshman sitcom has been picked up for a full season order, bringing it to a total episodes of 22. There's only been five episodes that aired since the series debuted in September.

"Life in Pieces, with one of the best ensemble casts on television, is telling terrific stories in a very unique way, and we're excited to tell many more of them this season, Glenn Geller, President of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement.

The comedy follows a multi-generational family The Shorts, with each episode telling four loosely connected stories about their everyday lives. The cast includes Colin Hanks (Fargo), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad & The Michael J. Fox Show), Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom), Zoe Lister-Jones (Whitney), James Brolin (The West Wing) and Dianne Wiest (Law & Order).

You can catch Life in Pieces on it's new night Thursday, Nov. 5th at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.
