CBS Premiere Spoilers: First Look at the Premieres

 

On Monday, CBS released synopses for their show's premieres from FBI to Ghosts. 

Let's take a look:

FBI: "Takeover"

After a federal judge disappears, a routine investigation takes a dark turn as the team uncovers that the judge had been searching for his missing son on a secluded island on the city’s edge, where authority has crumbled. Meanwhile, reality weighs heavy on Jubal as he takes on a new leadership role.

Season 8 Premiere Date: Monday, Oct. 13 at 9/8c on CBS.

DMV "Pilot"

East Hollywood Department of Motor Vehicles driving examiner Colette pines for her coworker Noa while enduring teasing from colleagues Gregg, Vic and Ceci. Also, new manager Barb rallies the crew to save their branch from government shutdown.

Series Premiere Date: Monday, Oct. 13 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.

Ghost "Soul Custody" 

Sam, Jay and the ghosts attempt to extricate Jay from his deal with Elias Woodstone (Matt Walsh), the devil. Also, Isaac helps Patience (Mary Holland) through a crisis of confidence and Pete and Alberta navigate the fallout from their kiss.

Season 5 Premiere Date: Thursday, Oct. 16 at 8:30/7:30c. 

Fire Country "Goodbye for Now"

In the aftermath of the Zabel Ridge fire, Station 42 faces internal turmoil but must rally together for a high-stakes rescue that tests their strength, loyalty and the future of the firehouse.

Season 4 Premiere Date: Friday, Oct. 17 at 8/7c; Episode 2 airs in its regular time slot, Friday, Oct. 24 at 9/8c.

Sheriff Country "Pilot"

Morena Baccarin stars as Mickey Fox, a straight-shooting sheriff in the small rural town of Edgewater, California, and stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone, who must balance the demands of law enforcement with the complexities of motherhood, community politics and a past that won’t stay buried. When a young boy is caught stealing food, Mickey uncovers a disturbing case of child abuse that leads to a high-stakes rescue and a cliffside standoff that could cost lives. Meanwhile, Mickey’s daughter Skye is newly sober, but her path to sobriety is complicated by her relationship with a troubled young man whom her mother arrested. Max Thieriot guest-stars.
