Hackers and Shcoker: The Night Shift "R3BOOT"

After battling my emergency situation last Thursday, I finally got a chance to watch last week's episode of The Night Shift and it not only delivers on it's on the edge thrill but there were a few bombshells coming to out hero characters.

The hopsital of SAM geta hacked and this time it seem more serious than the previous kind that other medical drama has done. With no machines the doctors are going back to the old school way of saving lives from treating a diebatic with an alcer to a kid dealing with a brian bleed and even an officer caught in an explosion during a take down of a criminal.

With a bad evulation from Jordan, Shannon proves that she's a good doctor and tells Jordan about how a friend could write something like that, even if Jordan is her boss. Drew has a job oppuritny at Ranger school and hasn't told his partner yet and when he finally does you can guess that it not any welcoming news even after he tells Drew about  maybe adopting a baby.

Paul finds out about Kenny and his sister have been spending time together and doesn't take it so well. Scott works with Paul's father after he paid the hackers and tells Scott about how he asked for money from other people and doesn't have any to pay them back and might need to close some hospitals.

After a wild night and saving an officer's life, Jordan and TC discuss the future if he'll stay or go back. Jordan tells him an idea of teaching combats at the hospital, after telling her he'll think about it, he gets a call from the doctor that he worked with in Syra and is imformed that she's seprated from her husband and coming to see TC.

This was a really good episode, it not only brough an intense but so good drama between characters. I think this episode would be a beginning point of another change for out characters. There wasn't anyone that really stood out as it everyone did an equal part of actiing. With only tonight and next week, how will this season go out in.

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch The Night Shift tonight at 10/9c on NBC.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt "Kimmy Bites an Onion!"

In the season finale of Kimmy Schmidt, Kimmy must get 100 percent on her next exam or face getting kicked out of college.

When Kimmy gets pulled into the Dean's office and talks about how she's not falling through with her grades, she must get 100 percent on her next exam, in science, or fail college. After studying for her chemistry exam, she still fails but gets a honor degree with the name Jimmy Smitts scratched off.

Later, Kimmy thinks that she doesn't need a degree to be somebody and goes out to apply for a crossing guard. But she has to take the computer test, which she passes but also another one has passed as well, the robot. The two battle it out and on the last test, which she passes but as soon as she gets going for her new job, it's taken away because of her marriage to the Reverend.

Kimmy goes back home and tells Lillian, who's also having a bad day after fighting with Artie of getting a new heart, about how life is like a vidalia onion. She goes on saying how she heard it was sweet as an apple and when her and her mother got one and took a bite it was the worst thing.

Meanwhile, Titus and Jacqueline teams up once again, as Titus spies on Mikey, he over hears his song "Boobs in California" from someone driving by. Frustrated he and Jacqueline head to Gordy and demand money. Soon Titus spends some of the money to make Mikey jealous but it really doesn't work, so Jacqueline says that Titus will be performing on the Mets Cruise, which turned fun til Mikey starts kissing his boyfriend. That opened Titus up to stop singing and tell Mikey that he still loves him.

After jumping off the ship, Jacqueline has found her new calling card, talent agent and probably her first client would be Titus. Let's just see how that would go.

At the end, Lillian goes to Columbia University to talk to the Dean about Kimmy and bumps into Kyle. He's looking for Kimmy and instead of hitting the Dean with a hammer, Lillian takes Kyle to Kimmy in his DeLorean and makes a couple of Back to the Future references and as Kyle takes Kimmy to her future, a job at his company and she'll be more of on hands with the workers instead of Kyle.

I thought that this episode was a satisfying episode. It had so much humor, mostly from Titus and Jacqueline, because those two really click with one another. I did find Kimmy's Onion talk was a real heartbreaking moment of the episode and Ellie Kemper's best scene performance. The writing of this episode was very good and the performances from the cast was really good, all of which performed so well. Overall, I give this epsiode a 9/10 and for the thrid season 9/10.

You can catch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 3 available on Netflix now.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt "Kimmy Googles the Internet"/"Kimmy and the Trolley Problem"

"Kimmy Googles the Internet"

Kimmy learns that her story is on the Internet.

After Kimmy gets invited to her professor's dinner party, she thinks that it's going to be fancy and while there she meets with Perry once again. They try to do their best to talk fancy and such things but soon Kimmy realizes that she wasn't invited because she was the professor's best student, but a guest to talk about her mole woman days.

Kimmy talks with Xam and finds out that her story is all over Google, from the interview with Matt Lauer to the auto tuned version of the theme song. Xam tells Kimmy that anyone can find someone on the Internet and show a clip of her at a spelling bee and after spelling a word correctly pooped her pants and still sat back down.

Meanwhile, Titus' date with Reuben goes well until Titus learns that he has a daughter named Linda and it freaks him out. After going back and forth, the whole Linda thing ended up breaking them off their relationships

But for Kimmy, when Perry was to teach her class a way of learning, rapping to the beat, it not only was it going to be embarrassing but everyone in class had their phones out to record it. But Kimmy steps up and becomes part of Perry's bit and free style raps about anything and kills off the students recording it.

This was a good episode, not a memorable one, but as in an episode to bush by the time. There were a couple of scenes that I enjoyed from Titus going from one place to another talking with Kimmy about Reuben's kid's name. And also Titus' meeting with all the Linda's in the HR department. The writing was good not as strong like some of the others. Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

"Kimmy and the Trolley Problem"

When Kimmy is asked to be a guest on a college campus television program about her time in the bunker, she has second thoughts about it.

When Xan ask Kimmy to go on her campus TV program and talk about her time in the Bunker, hoping that it would encourage and inspire someone. Kimmy agrees but has second thoughts and talks with Cyndee, who's at the end of the world convention selling bunkers. With no help from her, she turns to her professor and decides not to do it. It might have disappointed Xan, but it was a great day for Titus as he replaced Kimmy as Xan's guest.

Meanwhile, Lillian is having a hard time dealing with moving on from her dead husband and watches a clip from her new phone of her late husband performing a song called move on. Soon, she got the message and when she tries to wake up Artie, he seems to be dead and rushes to Kimmy and Titus until Artie appears and has a device for his heart that is only going to last a couple of months.

"Kimmy and the Trolley Problem" might be a better episode than the previous one. Even though it was back to back episodes of Kimmy telling the bunker story, this one seemed to be better. The writing was really good, there was so much humor going from mostly coming from Titus and Cyndee as those two seem to have a real connection. Even the story of Jacqueline and Russ was really good and meeting with Andy Cohen was just hilarious.

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

Got to Go Back: The Good Place "Chapter 12: Mindy St. Claire" & "Chapter 13: Michael Gambit" Season Finale

The season finale of The Good Place was really the most mind blowing season finale of the television season.

"Mindy St. Claire"

In the first episode of the hour season finale, Eleanor, Jason and Janet escape the Good Place to go to the middle place. There they meet with Mindy St. Claire, the only person in the middle place that has to suffer only living by herself and drink warm beer, listen to everything sung by The Eagles live version.

Meanwhile, Chidi, Tahani, Michael and "real" Eleanor try to make a case to Sean, about how good Eleanor and Jason have been since joining the good place. They have to keep emotion out of their case or else Sean wraps himself in a cocoon. Soon, Sean messaged out to Eleanor that they have four hours to return or Chidi and Tahani will take their place.

Eleanor decides to go back and bring Jason and Janet. We learn why Eleanor became the way she has been in the real world, because of her lack of attention divorce parents. With time clocking down, Eleanor misses the deadline, but after she and Jason comes back Sean makes another offer and ask for one of the four to decide who goes to the bad place, leaving with a nice clifhanger for the season finale.

"Michael Gambit"

In the season finale, the countdown begins on who will go to the bad place.

Throughout the episode, we go back and forth to see how Michael came up with the idea for the good place. But mainly we watch Eleanor and the gang try to come up with who is going to go to the bad place and in a one of the most stunning moments of the season, Eleanor decides who will go and tell Michael that her and Chidi will go to the bad place.

Shocked from everyone, even Michael and Sean. Eleanor had figured out something that everyone and even us could have figured out, that Sean wasn't going to send them to the bad place, because the good place IS the Bad Place. And with a look towards Michael, he shows a slow growing smile and laughs. Michael tells everyone how all of this came about and it was quite clever and tells the real  reason why Tahani and Chidi are in the bad place.

After all of this, Michael calls the boss for a reset, for which Eleanor quickly figures out something to get a message when the reset happens. She writes a note and places it in Janet's mouth and as soon as Michael comes back he snaps his finger and we go back to where we first began, "Everything is Fine" But Eleanor is wearing different clothing, is introduce to the place and meets her new soul mate, a body builder and gets a message from Janet that Eleanor wrote and reads "Eleanor- find Chidi." After she reads it, she asked what's a Chidi and ends the season right there.

This hour season finale, was really satisfying and mind blowing. The"Mindy St. Claire" was an amazing episode as it really shown the character of Eleanor and not to mention Kristen Bell gives one of her best performances as well. D'Arcy Carden and Manny Jacinto really does still the episode with their goofy scene about trying to figure out how to have sex. As well as the mind-blowing episode "Michael Gambit" as when Eleanor figured out that the good place was the bad place, my mind blew up and jaw dropped through the floor. Hell, Ted Danson really gave a outstanding performance as well. It was really the most shocking moment of the television. The writing was just so damn good and keeping it under the radar was just crazy.

Overall, I give "Mindy St. Claire" a 9/10 and "Michael Gambit" a 10/10.

You can catch season one of The Good Place now on NBC.com and Netflix. Season 2 of The Good Palce premieres on Sept. 20th after the America's Got Talent Season Fianle.

"A Change and Rise" Victoria "The Engine of Change" & "Young England"

"The Engine of Change"

In a way change would come into the mind of Victoria.

In "The Engine of Change," Victoria deals with her first pregnancy and wonders if something should happen to her during childbirth, she has to choose a regent for her child. She believes that Albert should be, but the Tories doesn't think so.

It all changes when Albert gets his interest on the railroad and believes that it's the future for Great Britain, not only does he think so, he took a ride as well. This of course angers Victoria but soon changes her mind when she sneak out and hopped on and gets a real thrill from it.

With Sir. Robert Peel supporting that Albert should be named regent, all of the board members of the Tories followed along as well.

The episode clearly was majestic with scenery that it really took away some of the performance of the cast. There would be times that I was just so amused of just seeing the castle and even watching the locomotive run. The scenes with Skerrett and Charles were interesting enough to see how these two grew throughout the season and yet he impresses her with all the lavishing dishes he has served to her for a that evening with her, while Victoria and Albert were away. Talk about taking an advantage of the Royal place, right?

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

"Young England"

In the season finale, Victoria not deals with a baby soon, but deals with a matter of threats that could possibly be ordered from a royal family member.

"Young England" was genuinely not an epic finale but a superb on at that, with high drama coming in with Victoria and her final days of her pregnancy to even the moments of threats of death as one that got close to her and asked to take her away from the prison German of her husband to an assassination attempt from Edward Oxford, the first of eight to assassinate Victoria, that was pretty much get you on the edge of your seat.

Take what you will, but we would all know that Duke or Cumberland was the one masterful enough to set up an assassination since he was the one in line to take the throne if Victoria dies. It dives into some really dramatic scenes most of which watching Victoria standing up to Cumberland and walking away from him. And even a talk with King Leopold kind of gave a nice reassurance between the two after a rocky start in the season.

And of course, the birth of the future Queen as Victoria gives birth to her first child, a daughter named Victoria. It was mostly impressive that during her labor that Victoria finally calls her mother for support after what those two have gone through throughout the season as it was a lovely mother-daughter moment time.

Performances from everyone from Coleman to Hughes, even from Alex Jennings and David Oakes and Daniela Holtz too. The writing was strong that it closed out the season as it started off. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10 and the season a 9/10.

You can catch Victoria Season 1 on Blu-ray and DVD available now, the season two will begin Sunday, Aug. 27th on ITV and in the US wil air Sunday, Januray 14, 2018.
