"Prey"

When an injured woman appears at someone's home with stab wounds around, the FBI must find her killer but it turns into even more than they thought it was.

The FBI takes the case of a woman who escaped death but leads them to what is a graveyard of other women. Not only are they searching for the murder but also the woman's sister as well. Learning that what this whole thing is sex trafficking and gets one of their own in an undercover sting to get their suspect. Maggie gets the suspect to give them the name of the boss, which one of them happens to be one that Maggie and Zidan interviewed earlier. After capturing the suspects of the crimes, Maggie and Zidan found their victim's sister as well.

"Prey" was a not only strong but a powerful character development piece for Maggie Bell. You can see her grow through this episode with strength and courage with her history that she mentions a bit. The writing was so good and kept me interested from the beginning to end. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

"Crossfire"

When a lawyer gets shot to death in daylight, the FBI tackles their toughest case yet.

Agents Bell and Zidan take on the case of a lawyer getting shot in brawn daylight from a snipper. From interviewing the wife that they thought had a motive because he was meeting with a divorce lawyer, but wasn't at all. Later on, a cop gets shot and a suspect was seen running away from the scene that happens to be a kid. When Bell and Zidan capture the kid, they try to talk with him but learns that he didn't do anything wrong as he was being taken care of from the shooter.

After talking with Dana, they try to reason with the kid and asked him where the shooter is located and gives them that he's at a church. As everyone secures the site, Maggie and Zidan tries to reason with the suspect but doesn't seem to come around. When someone is running in the streets, the suspect was about to take the shot but gets killed on Maggie's orders after trying to reason with him failed.

The after effects from that case carries out with Maggie talking with the victim's wife about how she acted and didn't tell her about the motive. But she gives her advice for carrying on. Zidan tries to help the kid because he understands what it was like growing up in an environment.

"Crossfire" was another powerful episode. Strong character development from not only Bell but Zidan as he understands the kid that was caught in the shooting and growing up with a father who forces religion on them. It was a well-performed episode from the ensemble cast. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch FBI Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.
