Departure Season 3: Terror on the High Seas

In its third season, Departure shifts from skies and railways to the open ocean. After exploring plane crashes and train disasters, Kendra Malley faces a new mystery — the sinking of The Queen of the Narrows ferry off Newfoundland. While earlier seasons focused on chaos, this season emphasizes surviving the elements. Here's my recap and review.

Marshals S1, Ep. 1 "Piya Wiconi" Series Premiere

When CBS announced that Kayce Dutton would be stepping into a badge in the next chapter of the Yellowstone universe, I was genuinely curious and a bit cautious.

I wondered whether this would feel like a natural evolution for the character or just another spinoff trying to stretch the brand. After watching the premiere, I can say the answer lies somewhere in between. Here's my recap and review.

Red Eye Season 2

Red Eye made a comeback on ITVX and Hulu in January, shifting from its usual "conspiracy at 30,000 feet' storyline to a more grounded, intense mystery set at the US Embassy in London. Even though the setting has changed, the fast-paced action stays just as exhilarating as ever. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 6-7) "I Left A Woman on the Table"/"No Wonder His Kidney Wants Out"

If St. Denis Medical is known for anything, it’s its lively chaos, and Episodes 6 and 7 really dive into the colorful, messy lives behind those hospital scrubs. They also remind us why this wonderful team works so well together. Here's my recap and review.

Recap: Ghosts (S5, Ep. 11) "The Others" Winter Premiere

Ghosts comes back from hiatus with its boldest mythology expansion yet, shaking up the world of Woodstone with the arrival of the mysterious "Others." After a long winter break, the show finally introduces us to these ghosts that Patience has been hinting at. It turns out the Woodstone property is even more crowded than we thought, and one ghost has a very awkward history with the new arrivals. Here's a recap and review.

Recap: The Pitt (S2, Ep. 8) "2:00 P.M."

'2:00 P.M.' proves that tension beats technology, stripping the hospital to its basics and finding drama in human resilience. If “1:00 P.M.” flipped the switch into chaos, “2:00 P.M.” shows what happens when a hospital realizes the chaos isn’t temporary. With PTMC still operating in full “analog mode” after the cyberattack shutdown, this hour leans into stress, exhaustion, and the uncomfortable reality of practicing medicine without modern safety nets.

And honestly? It makes for one of the season’s most human episodes yet. Here's a recap and review.

Recap: FBI "Confetti"

The winter premiere of FBI, "Confetti," was a high-stakes celebration for the "Scolina" fandom. Balancing a cartel takedown with Stuart Scola and Nina Chase's union, it delivered a "perfectly imperfect" milestone true to the show's gritty roots. Here's a recap and review.

Recap: DMV "Hot Gurlz"

After a long winter hiatus, the doors of the East Hollywood DMV have finally reopened. The midseason premiere, "Hot Gurlz," proves that while the lines at the DMV are long, the social climbing is even longer. Here's my recap and review.

Recap: FBI “Lone Wolf” & “Wolf Pack” Fall Finale

"Lone Wolf" and "Wolf Pack" delivered a thrilling midseason finale for FBI Season 8, marking one of the show's most ambitious moments. What starts as a routine investigation quickly escalates into a citywide emergency, pushing the team beyond a typical case. Here's a recap and review.

Recap: FBI "Fadeaway"/Ratlined"

If “Fadeaway” resets the board, “Ratlined” flips it again. Episodes 7 and 8 of FBI form a two-part stretch blending action with personal consequences, showing this season's focus on emotional fallout and high-stakes cases. Here's a recap and review.

Recap: The Pitt (S2, Ep. 7) “1:00 P.M.”

“1:00 P.M.” feels like the heart of the season, when the Fourth of July shift shifts from manageable urgency to chaos. Earlier episodes showed pressure; this one shows everything coming apart. Here's a recap.

Riot Women (S1, Ep. 6): A Finale That Earns Its Noise

The Season 1 finale of Riot Women doesn’t go for easy triumph. Instead, it delivers something better — catharsis that feels earned.

After a season packed with rage, trauma, and fragile hope, Episode 6 finally brings the band’s personal battles and professional dreams into the same room. And it works. Here's my recap and review.

Riot Women (S1, Ep. 4-5) The High and the Hangover

Okay. We need to talk about Episodes 4 and 5 of Riot Women, because together, they feel like one emotional punch followed by the bruise that blooms the next morning.

While episode 4 gives us the moment we’ve been building toward: the band finally stepping onto a real stage, episode 5 reminds us that every act of defiance has consequences. And wow, does this show make us sit in both. Here are my thoughts.

Vigil Season 1

Okay, let’s talk about Vigil.

If you skipped Season 1, you missed an intense, pulse-pounding show that keeps you on edge, not relaxing TV. It’s the kind where you realize your shoulders are tense and you haven’t exhaled in minutes. That’s the point. Here's my recap and review.

Recap: The Pitt Season 2, Episode 6 "12:00 PM"

At "12:00 P.M.," the energetic pace of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center shifts to a heartfelt episode focused on characters. Directed by Noah Wyle, it opens and closes with the loss of a beloved character, honoring the hospital staff. Here's my recap and review.

Recap: The Pitt Season 2, Episode 5 "11:00 AM"

As the five-hour mark of the July 4th shift approaches, Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center (PTMC) is feeling the pressure. If Episode 4 was about Westbridge’s mysterious closure, Episode 5 takes a heartfelt look at how it has affected the staff. The Recap: Sepsis, Stigma, and a Shocking Finish. Here's my warm recap and review.

The Assassin Season 1

Pack your bags, grab some sunscreen, and maybe duck for cover. The Assassin looks like a dreamy Greek vacation until sniper rifles come out and a deeply awkward mother-son reunion turns into an international manhunt. It’s stylish, ridiculous in the best way, and completely my kind of chaos — so yes, I had thoughts. Here’s my recap and review of AMC+’s latest globe-trotting thrill ride.

The Hunting Party "Amanda Weiss"

This week’s installment of The Hunting Party delivered one of the most psychologically jarring "Inmate of the Week" stories so far, while finally blowing the lid off the central mystery connecting our team to the enigmatic Lazarus. Here's a recap and review.
