Daredevil: Born Again (S2, Ep. 7) "The Hateful Darkness"

After weeks of bloody alleys and conspiracies, Daredevil: Born Again returned to the courtroom, where Matt Murdock is most dangerous. 'The Hateful Darkness' was a tense episode, blending legal thriller and psychological horror. With stakes reaching life-or-death, it showed that the best weapon against Kingpin isn't a fist, but the truth. Here's my recap and review.

Daredevil: Born Again (S2, Ep. 6) "Requiem"

When the last tether to a man's humanity snaps, the world should brace for impact. In 'Requiem,' Vanessa Fisk's death didn't just leave a widower; it unleashed a hurricane threatening New York City. From a fan-favorite return to a philosophical brawl at City Hall, this episode masterfully depicted tension, grief, and the brutal vigilante reality. Here's my recap of an hour showing some cycles of violence are unbreakable.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 15) "9:00 PM" Season Finale

At 9:00 P.M. on a demanding Fourth of July shift, The Pitt delivered a finale that shattered the medical drama genre. More than just a season closer, it was a haunting storytelling masterclass that solidifies the series as a top contender for the Best Drama Emmy. In an hour balancing Pittsburgh emergency trauma with its leader's quiet downfall, '9:00 P.M.' showed medicine can save bodies but not souls. Here's my recap and review.

Daredevil: Born Again(S2, Ep. 5) "The Grand Design"

This week’s Born Again examined the human wreckage of ambition. 'The Grand Design' was a triptych of desperation: a hospital vigil, a disposal in the woods, and an alliance between damaged souls. Usually action-driven, the series succeeded by focusing inward, confronting characters' ghosts. Here's my review.

Daredevil (S2, Ep. 2-4) "Shoot The Moon"/"The Scales & The Sword"/"Gloves Off"

Hell’s Kitchen has been lively and intense, but under Mayor Wilson Fisk, the excitement has increased. This week, I followed a three-episode arc that took the series from gritty streets to an epic urban story with surprises and action. The White Tiger legacy and a dramatic diner massacre, which pushed on-screen intensity, make Born Again seem like the awaited revival. Here are my thoughts on the 'Northern Star' saga and Bullseye's return.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 14) "8:00 PM"

In the busy urban ER, finishing a shift feels like relief, but at 8:00 P.M. at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, the mood turns tense. This week’s The Pitt showcased powerful storytelling, from a leader’s confession to a surprising diagnosis that shifts everything. Here’s my recap.

In this Season 2 finale, St. Denis staff chose to pause and support one of their own, shifting from busy workplace humor to a heartfelt, emotional story about family bonds. St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 17) "Here a Righteous Woman Comes"

They say in hospitals you’re either holding a clipboard or in a gown, but this week’s St. Denis Medical showed life seldom respects those lines. During an emotionally intense hour, the 'Welcome to Life' birthing center's opening became the scene for a health crisis and a romantic breakthrough, from Joyce’s sacrifice to a pivotal parking lot kiss. 'Here a Righteous Woman Comes' was a standout. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 16) "Experience with Human Babies"

Opening a top birthing center should be a career highlight, but at St. Denis, it’s more about professional sabotage and personal awkwardness. This week, staff faced hiring crises, high-altitude rescues, and Oregon's biggest stationery theft. From Joyce’s romantic struggles to Matt’s leap of faith, 'Experience with Human Babies' shows that surviving a day with these coworkers is tougher than bringing new life into the world. Here’s my recap and review.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 13) "7:00 PM"

In the ER's 7:00 p.m. supposed finish became a chaos point at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, as a system reboot forced overtime, revealing staff stress. A 'ticking time bomb' diagnosis and lead's admission highlighted the quiet defeat after adrenaline diminishes. Here's my review.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 12) "6:00 P.M."

As the sun sets over Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, the golden hour turns dark. This week’s The Pitt episode replaces systemic chaos with a character-driven explosion, showing hospital fractures are more dangerous than cyberattacks. As day shift ends and night shift begins, ER 'parents' hit a wall no protocol could fix. Here's my recap of '6:00 P.M.'

Daredevil: Born Again (S2, Ep. 1) "The Northern Star" Season Premiere

After a wait that felt like an eternity in Hell’s Kitchen, the Devil of New York has returned. The Season 2 premiere of Daredevil: Born Again doesn't just pick up where the previous chapter left off; it plunges us into a city that has been systematically dismantled by Wilson Fisk. While the original Netflix series remains the gold standard for street-level heroics, 'The Northern Star' comes remarkably close to capturing that same lightning in a bottle. Here is my recap and review.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 11) "5:00PM"

In the emergency room, time is usually the enemy, but during The Pitt's devastating hour, the threat was tactical. '5:00 P.M.' shifted from medical mysteries to sociopolitical trauma, shattering hospital sanctuary. From federal interventions to oversights, this series was unflinching. Here is my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 14-15) "Happy Birthday, Matty"/"Everybody Loves Portland General"

The St. Denis staff make birthdays unforgettable, turning patient intake into lively events. This week, we moved from ER halls to the vibrant 'Laser Lounge' to celebrate Portland General's excellence. Despite challenges, the team remains dedicated and fun-loving. Here's my recap of 'Happy Birthday, Matty' and 'Everyone Loves Portland General.'

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 10) "4:00 P.M."

The Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center (PTMC) hits a literal and metaphorical breaking point. Following the previous hour’s cliffhanger, the ER is flooded with victims from a catastrophic waterslide collapse, forcing the staff to juggle gruesome triage with their own unraveling personal lives. Here's a recap and review.

The Pitt (S2, Ep. 9) "3:00pm"

The Pitt trades silicon for scribbles in its ninth episode of Season 2, and the result is a pulse-pounding hour of analog anxiety. With the hospital still crippled by a ransomware cyberattack, the staff at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center is forced to ditch their digital systems and go fully analog.

That means ditching every digital crutch at once, pitching the ER into confusion even before anyone has time to grab a clipboard. The logistics bleed in around the edges, scribbled charts, jammed fax machines, as the chaos builds fast. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 13) "A New Best Friend"

Grab your popcorn: "A New Best Friend" earns a glowing 8.5/10 for mixing shameless workplace feuds with heart, making this one of St. Denis Medical’s funniest, most relatable episodes yet. Can your husband be friends with your most narcissistic coworker? For Alex, the answer involves a harebrained scheme and a massive order of grass seeds. Here's my recap and review of "A New Best Friend."

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep.10–12) "This Is From Joyce"/"Senior Health Fair"/Nod and Agree"

The second season of St. Denis Medical truly shows how well the show balances the hectic hospital scenes with hilarious workplace moments that sometimes get a little awkward. Episodes 10 through 12 continue this great mix, blending emotional moments, funny surprises, and some unexpectedly touching interactions between characters. Here's my recap and review.

St. Denis Medical (S2, Ep. 8-9) "A Waste of Time and Marble"/"You're in His Bubble Space"

It all starts with a hospital-wide gasp as Sanderson drops to one knee right in the middle of the ER, catching everyone—especially Joyce—by surprise. This is just the first of several twists in Episodes 8 and 9, where St. Denis Medical pivots from the usual hospital hustle to dive into the staff's personal lives. The heartfelt shift adds new depth to the comedy, especially for characters like Joyce and the ever-complicated Matt and Serena. Here's my quick recap and thoughts.

Red Eye Season 2

Red Eye made a comeback on ITVX and Hulu in January, shifting from its usual "conspiracy at 30,000 feet' storyline to a more grounded, intense mystery set at the US Embassy in London. Even though the setting has changed, the fast-paced action stays just as exhilarating as ever. Here's my recap and review.
