A Truly Summer Blockbuster: Stranger Things Season 4

The fourth season of Stranger Things delivered a powerful season. Here are my thoughts.

The summer belongs to Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things Season 4 arrived with an unprecedented wave of hype. Against all odds, it not only met but surpassed expectations, delivering a season packed with raw excitement, deep emotion, and edge-of-your-seat thrills. It truly edges past Season 3 in its scope and impact.

Standout Performance

While the entire ensemble delivered a compelling performance, Sandie Sink truly earns the MVP title this season. Her portrayal of Max, navigating an incredibly powerful and emotionally resonant storyline, was nothing short of phenomenal. Jamie Campbell Bower also delivered one of the series' most memorable villains as Vecna, cementing his place in Stranger Things with a genuinely terrifying performance.

A Divisive Yet Powerful Ending

The season's ending has certainly sparked debate among fans, yet it stands as an excellent wrap-up. Despite leaving some crucial questions unanswered (like Max's definitive fate), it delivers a thrilling cliffhanger that perfectly sets the stage for the highly anticipated final season.

The Verdict

Overall, Stranger Things Season 4 was a masterclass in blockbuster television, offering a blend of horror, heartfelt moments, and grand spectacle. I confidently give this season a 9 out of 10.
