It was one of the posted talked about shows in 2023. Have you seen Netflix's The Night Agent? Here's my quick review.
The Night Agent is about an FBI agent, Peter Sutherland, who's answering calls at the White House and gets into a political conspiracy in the US government. While the scheme grows, he builds a relationship with the one he protects.
Created by Shawn Ryan (The Sheild, Timeless, S.W.A.T.) and based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, I very much enjoyed this series as I watched it in two days. Given that some of the character stories are a bit predictable, it still kept my interest in the story, but also some kick-ass action scenes as well.
Plus, Gabriel Basso was excellent in the role of Peter Sutherland. And the ensemble cast is pretty solid, with Luciane Buchanan and D.B. Woodside. And with this being a Shawn Ryan series, if you've seen many of his series, you know what you're getting out of it. I highly recommend watching this series.
Overall, I give season one an 8.5/10.
