Did Disney+'s Secret Invasion fulfill the expectations set by the anticipation surrounding it? Below are my reflections on the matter.
I am not alone in my belief that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) television series are not achieving their full potential; the recent installment, Secret Invasion, is a pertinent example. While I must express my enjoyment of this series, which features Samuel L. Jackson and embodies a politically charged spy thriller theme, I found the conclusion quite disappointing.
What is the rationale behind that ending? Why were two characters, Gravik and G'iah, endowed with the abilities of every MCU hero and villain? Should there not be a limitation on the most powerful character within the MCU? How sustainable is my interest in continuing to watch these series?
Some have proven remarkably engaging, while others vary from commendable to distinctly lacking. Despite its initial impressiveness, I am hesitant to watch the second season of Loki.
I give Secret Invasion a 5/10.
