Evan Vs. Linda: English Teacher "Linda"

This week's episode of English Teacher, it's Evan vs. Linda who will win in this showdown? Here's a recap.

When Evan grades his students book report to find out that they really didn't do the work, he decides to fail them but what he didn't realize was he just set a storm with...Linda. 

After learning on how powerful Linda is to the school and community, Evan meets with her but after declining her offer to change the grade, she comes back with a certificate teacher in his classroom grading his performance, which lead to a teacher-parent meeting. 

Evan gives it another shot to talk to Linda, even though he's trying to record her about her scamming in her businesses. After a very heart to heart talk about her son (the story plot from the first episode), both came to agreement about having his student redo the report. 

"Linda" was another hilarious and well written episode that proves the show is getting better and better each week.

Jenn Lyon was amazing as Linda Harrison, playing the southern business woman who pretty much has the power in the community

The students reaction to getting a failed grade from Evan was hilarious but smart to show how teachers have to simplify the reading material to make the grades. 

Even the side story of Gwen thinking her students are cheating was funny as well, even getting Markie to help. 

Overall, I give this epsiode a 9/10.
