When Sam needs sources for Isaac's biography, there is one place to find them. Here's a recap of this week's episode of Ghosts.
When Sam gets word that the publishing company wants to make Isaac's book happen, there is just one issue....they need sources to make it credible. That might be an issue.
Isaac remembers burying his diary at the army base. Still, when Sam and Jay find it, there isn't much detail or anything interesting in his diary except his dislike for sandwiches.
Isaac does not describe the events in Sam's book in detail; they are written in the diary with the help of Jay and his talented handwriting. That is until the authenticator comes in and learns about it, as he looks like one of the basement ghosts. Sam has been having a tough week, first as an army soldier at the camp base and then as the authenticator.
The publishers weren't too happy about Sam's actions, so they devised another idea: Isaac's book would be published as a YA vampire story instead.
Meanwhile, while watching Jay and enjoying his sonic snacks, the ghosts encounter a delightful new friend—a snail! Soon enough, they playfully argue over who gets to care for this little creature. When it seems like everyone is set to compete for pet-parenting rights, Trevor initially pretends to be disinterested. He surprises everyone by expressing his genuine desire to care for the snail.
When Trevor tells the snail he is a good boy, the light beam slowly rises on the snail, which will be just over the mansion by the next episode.
"The Primary Source" was absolutely a joy to watch! It's one of my favorite Trevor stories, especially when he shares his experiences with his dog and how caring for the snail reflects his love for his furry friend. I also loved how Isaac's diary added some fantastic humor! Could his book succeed and be on the big screen?
Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
