Ron and Bruce are diving into their new plumbing adventure this week, and who knows what exciting mishaps might await them? Let's look back at this week's episode of St. Denis Medical!
When the news spreads that the plumbers won't be able to fix the leaky pipes in the wall for a bit, Bruce eagerly takes on the challenge and decides to try fixing them himself. But wait, because Ron isn’t too far away and eager to lend a hand! This could turn out to be an adventure, for better or worse. While they had different ideas about tackling the problem, they connected over the process. What they thought was a job well done was not what one of the plumbers humorously called "Micky Mouse the whole thing."
Joyce encourages the staff to promote more options for procedures while at the hospital. As a result, Matt and Serena join the effort, motivated by the chance to win two tickets to the SZA concert, just like some of their fellow nurses. This makes Matt hopeful for an opportunity to spend time with Serena, but when they win the tickets, he discovers she decided to give her ticket to someone else. Oh no, poor Matt!
Meanwhile, Alex warmly assists a frequent flyer patient by inviting her to the new VIP suite designed for those who appreciate extra comfort. When Joyce notices this, Alex enthusiastically shares that the patient hails from a royal family. This delightful revelation brings Joyce immense joy, prompting her to treat the patient with delicious brownies and kindly extend access to the staff's pristine bathrooms.
"Nobody Even Mention the Brownies" was another laugh-out-loud episode featuring Bruce and Ron, who were absolutely hilarious! It’s clear that having these two doctors dabble in another profession is a recipe for chaos—even Bruce jokes that it’s just like being a doctor. "The human body has pipes!" is something I can't get out of my head after this episode. Watching Alex and Joyce play along with Alex's little lie was so much fun! And even though the story about Matt and Sernea was relatively brief, it had a delightful twist that made us wonder if they might go to the concert together.
All in all, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
