The wait for SkyMed to return is finally over in the States.
The date is set, and we will take off for the third season of the Canadian medical drama series, SkyMed, as it returns on May 15th on Paramount+ with all nine episodes.
Here's the promo:
SkyMed showcases an incredible team of dedicated young medics and skilled pilots who soar through the remote skies of Northern Canada in their air ambulances as they're "weaving together intense journeys with jaw-dropping medical rescues 20,000 feet in the air in the most remote conditions, the new season throws the diverse group of medical responders into all-new challenges on the job and in their personal lives," the official synopsis says.
SkyMed was created by Julie Puckrin and was inspired by her sister and brother-in-law, who met while flying an air ambulance. The series stars Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley, Morgan Holmstorm (Day of the Dead) as Crystal, Praneet Akilla (Nancy Drew) as Chopper, Mereceded Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi, Thomas Ems (The Boys in the Boat) as Nowak, Kheon Clarke (Riverdale) as Tristan and Sydeny Kuhne (Ginny & Georiga) as Stef. Along with Aaron Ashmore (Warehouse 13) is upped to series regular, as Wheezer.
The new season has added Anthony Grant (V-Wars) as TJ and Nicola Correia-Damude (Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent) as Marianne, as they join along with Aason "Ace" Nadjuwon (Twilight Zone) as Bodie and Emilia McCarthy (Zombies) as Madison in recurring roles.
I'm genuinely excited for SkyMed's return! After finishing season two, I can't wait to hear from Paramount+ about when the third season will air. Here are my thoughts on the first two seasons of SkyMed.
