Peacock's The Paper Changes Binge-Watching Plans

Breaking news has emerged about binge-watching Peacock's The Office when it debuts on September 4th.

When The Paper debuts on Peacock on September 4, it will not follow their original plan of releasing the first four episodes, followed by two episodes each week until the season finale on September 25. But instead, all 10 episodes will be released at once on Sept 4th.

TVLine has learned from "a source that credits the change to overwhelmingly positive early reaction to the series, allowing viewers to binge it all at once if they so desire."

Hailing from The Office co-creator Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, The Paper follows the same documentary crew filming a Toledo newspaper and its new editor-in-chief, played by Domhnall Gleeson. The cast includes Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Ramona Young, Tim Key, comedian Alex Edelman, and Oscar Nunez, reprising his Office role as Oscar.

If there's one bright spot about the episodes, it's definitely a good sign! Usually, releasing everything all at once can make people worry, often called a "dump and gone" approach. But today, I'm even more excited to watch this series, it might just jump right to the top of my most-awaited list! And this is good marketing for the show as the NFL Kickoff starts that evening and they'll heavily promote it.

What do you think of the news? Are you excited for The Paper? Will you be watching when it debuts? Leave a comment.
