CBS has become the first Broadcast network to announce its fall schedule, and they've made some changes.
On Wednesday, CBS released its 2026-2027 fall schedule, which will only have two half-hour comedies, which is an all-time low for the network.
The lineup features four exciting franchise blocks: FBI Monday, NCIS Tuesday, and Fire Country on Friday, along with a special pair from Robert & Michelle King on Thursday. We're also looking forward to midseason premieres for Ghosts and Matlock, which are currently on hold. Additionally, NCIS: Sydney will be introduced later, while NCIS: New York, Cupertino, and Einstein are set to join us next season with new compelling stories.
Here's the schedule:
Monday
8/7c FBI
9/8c CIA
10/9c Harlan Coben's Final Twist
Tuesday
8/7c NCIS
9/8c NCIS: New York
10/9c NCIS: Origins

Midseason: Ghosts, Matlock, NCIS: Sydney, and Einstein.
This feels so different, with CBS having only two comedies in its lineup, which isn't normal, but it looks like they have another year of winning formula.
