The truth is back under investigation.
Peacock has finally announced the premiere date for Season 3 of The Capture, the hit BBC series streaming on Peacock in the U.S. New episodes arrive Thursday, June 18.
The third season picks up a year after Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) exposed the UK’s secretive video-manipulation program known as Correction. Now promoted to Acting Commander of Counter Terrorism, Carey’s new mission is to restore public trust in surveillance with a system called Operation Veritas.
But a devastating, meticulously planned terrorist attack strikes at the heart of the British establishment, leaving behind a single witness and drawing Carey into a conspiracy that ensnares government, media, and intelligence services on a global scale. With allies dwindling and the truth increasingly malleable, Season 3 poses a chilling question: how do you protect reality in a world built on lies?
Fans can also expect the return of familiar faces, including Paapa Essiedu, Indira Varma, Ben Miles, and Ron Perlman.
I’m super excited for the return of The Capture. It’s been one of my favorite Peacock original series since the streaming service launched in 2020—a taut, twisty thriller that plays with your perception just enough to keep you constantly on edge, in the best possible way. Catch my review of the first and second seasons.
