It seems like rainy days might make things a bit tougher for the staff at "The Bear," but I'm sure they'll handle it with their usual resilience.
On Monday, FX released the trailer for the final season of the Emmy-winning culinary dramedy, premiering Thursday, June 25 at 9/8c on Hulu with all episodes, also airing in linear on FX for the first time. Things look more dire than ever for Carmy and his kitchen crew.
With the clock ticking and the money behind the restuant is running out. While Richie insists they keep going, Uncle Jimmy hits him with a dose of cold water when he tells him that he's selling the building. Along with a nasty Chicago storm that leaves the restaurant flooded, the staff furiously sweep out water and pray for relief.
Season 5 of The Bear will pick up after the events of last season's finale, where Sydney, Richie, and Natalie learned that Carmy "has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant to them," per the official synopsis. "With no money, the threat of a sale and a torrential storm in their way, the new partners must band together with the rest of the team to achieve one last service, hoping they'll finally earn a Michelin star. Ultimately, they learn that what makes a restaurant perfect might not be the food, but the people."
