Firehouse 51 is getting a new face when Chicago Fire returns for Season 15.
Actor Da'Vinchi has officially joined NBC's hit drama as a series regular, stepping into the role of Marcus Burke, a new firefighter candidate assigned to the legendary firehouse.
According to Deadline, Marcus is described as roguish, funny, and armed with a wry sense of humor, along with a slightly defiant streak. In other words, it sounds like Firehouse 51 may have another personality to shake things up when the new season begins.
Da'Vinchi is best known for his roles as Terry "Southwest T" Flenory in Starz's BMF and Darnell Hayes, the star quarterback at the center of The CW's All American. His other credits include grown-ish, The Boys, and Marvel's Jessica Jones.
Season 15 will also mark a behind-the-scenes change, with co-executive producer Victor Teran taking over as showrunner following longtime showrunner Andrea Newman's departure. With Season 14 ending on several major cliffhangers and departures, I'm curious to see what Marcus brings to Firehouse 51, and whether he'll fit in with the team.
