"A League of Her Own"
When Nicole walks into a lesbian bar, she spots Honey and Jessica there talking and drinking. She comes out to Honey and tells her that she's playing for the bar's softball team. With Honey accepting Nicole, they figure out a way to tell Marvin. After failing to tell Marvin during movie night watching "A League of Their Own," Marvin learned it in a different way, from Jessica during the softball game. With mixed feelings about it, Marvin accepts Nicole in coming out, even if he did play it against her as getting her out.
Meanwhile, when Louis tries to rags up his team for the Cattleman's softball team, he's taken the challenge from management that if they win one game, the team will stay but lose then it's gone for good. With that going, Jessica convinces the bar owner to let her manage the softball team that happens to be playing Louis' team. As the two square it off, it's not very promising at first for Louis.
"A League of Her Own" was a very good episode. It was a good half hour of comedy that had some memorable moments. The writing was good and the performances from the cast as well. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.
"The Day After Thanksgiving"
Probably one of my favorite episodes of the fourth season. "The Day After Thanksgiving" was good from the beginning to the end with witty humor to good character development coming from Jessica and Louis' mother. The writing of the episode was so good. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.You can catch Fresh Off the Boat Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c on ABC.
