Childish Party: Kevin Can Wait "Delivery Guy"/"Forty Seven Candles"

Image result for Kevin Can Wait "Delivery Guy"

"Delivery Guy"

When Kevin gets a surprise visit from a young man that he helped deliver back when he was a cop, it give him the idea of how much a hero. But when Vanessa learns that their client has left them for their rival, they use Kevin's story on television to help brand their company. But the idea fell apart as it wasn't much of a story for the TV hosts and the kid didn't go into all the detail like he did earlier in the episode. With the segment going wrong, Kevin's rival company comes in and gives their story of how they saved a young girl, who needed a kidney.

"Deliver Man" was an okay episode that just having you laughing a bit but as soon as the episode is over you'll forget what happened. It wasn't the best and it wasn't as good as the previous episode before this one. Overall, I give this episode a 5/10.

"Forty Seven Candles"

When someone says "no surprise birthday party" even though they don't mean it, it means throw a party.

When it's Vanessa's birthday coming up and she tells Kevin and the gang that she doesn't want a surprise birthday party, to Kevin that means she wants one and tries to pull off a good one. But when Vanessa decides to have her own party, Kevin gets all of her friends to turn her down so they could be at his party.

When Vanessa's birthday arrived, Kevin's plan didn't go as well (even though it was his plan) to take her out to dinner but instead tells her about a party. There she is surprised of the many friends and family that came and just when you think it was over, it's not as Kevin becomes Prince and does a cool to creepy duet with Vanessa of Purple Rain.

"Forty Seven Candles" was 10 times as better as the previous episode and had so much fun and humor to it. The Vanessa and Kyle bar scene was a moment of maybe but maybe not as it looked like she was coming on to him. I couldn't get how freaked out I was seeing Kevin as Prince but also couldn't stop laughing at the same time. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

Dating with Food: Kevin Can Wait "Wingman"/"The Whole Enchilada"

Image result for Kevin Can Wait Wingman

"Wingman"

With Kyle bragging about using a new dating app, it sparks Vanessa and Kevin to use it as well to find their perfect match.

When Vanessa and Kevin learn of a new dating app "Be My Wingman" that Kyle has been using, and agree to help each other out finding someone that's perfect for one another. But at first they weren't into the app and tried being each other wingman at the bar, but that failed after meeting weird people. So they turn to Kyle for help using the app and soon they find someone for each other.

When Kevin and Vanessa double date with their perfect match, it goes well for Kevin but not well for Vanessa as Kevin chosen a guy that's quite like Kevin. When Vanessa tells Kevin that she doesn't like him, he tries to change his look and makes him look a lot better and gives Vanessa to go for a second chance date. But when things turn to be so good, both Vanessa and Kevin's dates leaves them and goes out with one another.

"Wingman" was a good average episode that had some funny moments. Even if they aren't trying to get Vanessa and Kevin to grow more in their relationship, they still put them in situations like this episode that makes you think that they could be the perfect match for one another. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

"The Whole Enchilada"

Maybe the proof is in the food, unless Kevin can see it or not.

When it comes to reading signs, Kevin isn't the smartest in the department when his neighbor Wendy comes by with food, enchilada, that's one of the best. But when Wendy ask where this relationship is going, even though there wasn't, Kevin tries to explain but agrees to go out with her to the movies.

Kevin tells Vanessa about it and she thinks he needs to dump her but when tasting Wendy's enchilada, she agrees that Kevin is screwed. But when she helps him to dump Wendy and cook for him, it's not the same and Kevin goes through depression and tries to win Wendy back, for which he did.

"The Whole Enchilada" was a way better episode than the previous one that brings the classic elements to this show: Kevin, food and relationships. It may not be the smartest episode but it was sure the funniest with James, Spreitler, Remini and Florencia Lozano as Wendy. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

Kevin Can Wait Season 2 (so far)

With a very questionable kick off to the new season, the second season of Kevin Can Wait has found it's stride.

I will admit that I wasn't too happy about the new change to the season of letting go Erinn Hayes after the first season and killing her character Donna. But I gave the show the benefit of the doubt and see what they had come up that would make sense and when the second season of the show premiered, it was just a huge disappointment. Knowing that she had died and making a joke about her gym membership wasn't the smartest thing to do and I did have a bit of pissing mood and wanting to watch the show.

But I did and down the road the show got better during it's Thanksgiving episode that really set me thinking that this show will work. And soon after I felt the show finally was better than where they were at the start of the season. The stories were good as it still feels that classic sitcom that we're so use to watching back in the day..

Yes, Leah Remini and Kevin James have a great chemistry that you just can't deny. They chemistry brings another energy to the show that may or may not feel that it's a different style of The King of Queens, but hey it works. And not to mention the cast from Taylor Spreitler, Ryan Cartwright that are hilarious and probably my favorite supporting characters on the show.

So far so good Kevin Can Wait is the show to watch Monday nights. Overall, I do give the season after 16 episodes a 7/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

Kevin Can Wait "Civil Ceremony" Season Premiere

Last night's season premiere of Kevin Can Wait was hilarious at time but also felt so strange in a way.

"In "Civil Ceremony," the series seems to jump a year after the season one finale. When Kevin forgets to mail Chale's immigration papers, Kevin does all he can to keep his daughter's fiance to stay, even if that means putting on a quick wedding.

I will admit that this episode had some funny moments. From Kevin and Chale's meeting with the immigration guy and when things were good, it went south when Kevin mentions terrorism. Even Leah's character helping Kendra with her wedding and invites the stripper, who happens to be a plummer, not only appears once but will appear twice and the second time will be even creaper and funny.

But the thing that was so strange was addressing about Donna's death. We only get a short word about Donna's death, but with all due respect, where's the respect for the character? Only get a little after Kevin gets mail from Donna's gym saying they miss her. I don't know about you, but I didn't feel satisfied at all. I was hoping a little more like a sit down and talk about it but I guess they really wanted to address it qucik and move on.

This episode was pretty good. It did delivered some funny moments and even a heart warming one with Kevin and Kendra just before he walked her down the chaple for the wedding. But at the end of the day the one big thing that the show was going to do just didn't feel it was done in the right way. I feel that it should have been a bit longer in talking about Erin Hayes' characer Donna. And now that it aired I don't think they'll address about it again and just move on with life.

Overall, I give this season premiere a 6.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 9/8c on CBS.

CBS Addresses the fate of Donna on Kevin Can Wait

Image result for kevin can wait

Well, the fate of Donna has been reviled.

On Tuesday, CBS answered the question about how Kevin Can Wait's Erin Hayes' absence will be addressed after she was dismissed and replaced with Kevin James' former TV co-star Leah Remini.

"The character will have passed away," said Senior Exec. TV of Programming Thom Sherman, before adding that Season 2 will begins with a time jump (but not a big one as daughter Kendra is still planning her wedding when the show returns.)

CBS' Entertainment President Kelly Kahl later added that Donna's death "will be addressed tasteful" and "with dignity and respect." He calls Hayes "a terrific actress," but added "when everybody collectively saw how Leah and Kevin worked together in those last couple of episodes (the season finale), there was just an undeniable spark there. Kevin, the studio (Sony) and the network wanted to keep that magic and chemistry going forward."

Even the regards of speculation that the show could turn into The King of Queens, Sherman addressed, "No, I don't think so. I think the show speaks for itself and stands for itself. Obviously, the chemistry (between James and Remini) was amazing in the stunt episodes."

In the two part season one finale, retired cop Kevin returns to the force as part of an ongoing undercover case with former partner Vanessa Cellucci (Remini). After the case was closed, Kevin returned home to learn that Donna had quit her job as a school nurse because she was passed up for a promotion, meaning that both of them were now unemployed.

Kevin Can Wait Season 2 premieres Monday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on CBS.

Kevin Can Wait "Sting of Queens Part Two" Season Finale

In the part two of the two part season finale of Kevin Can Wait, partners will get closer, a position would be taken away and a business goes out pretty fast.

The episode starts off the next day when Vanessa comes to pick up Kevin for their undercover trip to Boston. When they get up to Boston, Vanessa takes advantage by letting Kevin sleep in by using a white noise machine app, because it helps Kevin sleep so peacefully. Kevin soon realizes and meets up and the two fight over the case again.

When word of the business wasn't what they expected, Kevin realizes that the art might be fake but they're sneaking in drugs. When Vanessa goes look around, she gets caught, Kevin tries to stop him by swinging but it didn't work but made one hell of a scene that was literally the funniest scene of the episode.

Vanessa tied up and Kevin handing upside down, the two finally talk about their beef with one another. As soon as Kevin is free, he tries to untie Vanessa and apologizes to her for embarrassing her on television years ago in 2007. But as soon as they try to call for help, the couple comes back with guns pointing at them but the guy's girlfriend pulled a fast one on him and tells him she's FBI so she takes the credit.

Meanwhile, Donna gets word of the position, she didn't get it and blows over it pretty badly. After talking to Kevin about it and hearing that he might want to go back to the force and knowing that Chale's new job is solid. She quits her job.

Chale on the other hand, a day in the new job, he learns from another employee that the business is tanking and the investors have pulled out. Pretending to Kendra that things are good and he gets dropped off at work.

But when the family comes together and Donna tells them that she quit her job, she also misunderstood that Kevin wanted to get back to the police force again and freaks out. But when Kevin finally says something nice to Chale and his new job, probably not the best time but at the moment, he tells them without saying anything as the episode ends.

This was a very good episode. There were some really good moments, Donna freaking out of not getting the job, Kevin handing upside down was too funny. Just watching Kevin and  Vanessa was literally my favorite part of the episode. James and Remini haven't lost their chemistry. Not to mention Hayes puts on a really good performance too. The writing was very good as well. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Overall Season: 8/10. I thought this season was very good. Was it at a level of other new comedy like The Good Place and Great News? Probably not, but it's near but I'll say this that Kevin Can Wait is one of those family traditional situational comedies that you really don't need to think it over. It's a simple family comedy that you can sit and laugh with family and friends like other shows like King of Queens, and Everybody Loves Raymond. The cast was amazing, mostly Kevin James and Erin Hayes really work well on screen. The other cast members were really good too. I can't wait to see what Season Two will bring.

Walking Down Memory Lane: Kevin Can Wait: "Sting of Queens: Part One"

In part one of a two part season finale, it's been a reunion ten years in the making and it just feels like the good ole days.

In "Sting of Queens Part One," Kevin is pulled out of retirement to go undercover with fellow cop, Vanessa Cellucci (played by Leah Remini),  as they play a married couple (how about that?!). When the two meet at a diner, they make the couple that they're meeting with interested in doing business and later meets them at their place to carry their business agreement.

After a day, they meet at the couple's hotel room and after getting on their good side they asked them to come with them for a retreat in Boston, but Kevin tries to decline but thinks that Vanessa could handle it but when they didn't want to do business without Kevin, he decides to come.

Meanwhile, Chale gets a well paid job, way over and decides to go spending on his family but I expect something to break in the next episode. And Donna hopes to get a new position at the school.

But the real focus on this episode was really the reunion of Kevin and Leah since it's been ten years since the final episode of King of Queens. The first scene seeing them together was like walking down memory lane, also the diner episode was hilariously funny. Plus the scene in the couple's hotel and the gum. I was literally crying laughing. It's like those two never lost a step.

I enjoyed this episode very much. Probably the reunion was much of the episode and probably should be since it was one of the funnest things in this two part episode. Even the second episode looks like a hoot from the previews. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Part Two of the season finale of Kevin Can Wait next Monday at 8/7c on CBS.

Health Challenge: Kevin Can Wait ""Quiet Diet"

When Donna challenges Kevin to get his cholesterol down so he could go to Mets Fantasy Camp, Kevin plays a trick on her.

"Quite Diet" is another Donna and Kevin going at it situation that I enjoy watching from time to time. When Donna and Kevin need to get a check up for their insurance, if they have a lower cholesterol levels their premiums go down but not they're paying a lot. Donna tries to motivate Kevin into eating healthy by offering him to go to Mets Fantasy camp if he's levels are low.

Kevin tells Donna that he can do it and soon gets Chale's help in on it and uses his cleanser that he has used when he was a chubby kid in a photo and his own pants. After the next couple of days and sweaty nights, Kevin makes it to test day and surprising passes it, which does shock Donna and learns that she has high cholesterol.

After the test results, Donna goes on an extreme health plan, but Chale lets her on what Kevin has done and later plays his little game as she pretends to give Kevin what he wants from a second wife if she dies. But he catches on and admits to what he did and how he fooled her with the cleanser. The two agree and tried the cleanser out and at the end they were getting over the heavy sweats and moving into the hallucinations where Donna saw a six-pack abs Kevin and Kevin saw Donna as a taco.

I thought this was a very good and funny episode. I thought that James and Hayes were hilarious and probably one of their funniest situational episodes together. During most of the episode I couldn't get enough of what they would do after each other would have died from getting a second spouse. Also the ice cream thing was also pretty funny too and clever as well and we get to learn that Chale was an overweight kid, which was kind of fun for Kevin to make fun of but also bonded them as well. The writing was good. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Mistaken Identity: Kevin Can Wait "Kenny Can Wait'

When Donna takes away Kevin's cable package due to cost for their daughter's wedding, Kevin takes on a job driving a famous celebrity.

"Kenny Can Wait" has some real funny moments as Kevin becomes friends with Harry Connick, Jr. as he's Harry's driver. Harry mistaken Kevin as Kenny and after that Kevin starts lying his way about what he does from given back to charity to even play the saxophone. But Kevin confesses to Harry on his television show near the end of the episode and what hurt Kevin the most was seeing Goody's wife perform on his show.

There were some memorable moments from Kevin trying to get whatever is left in the peanut butter jar in the cold opening. I know I have tried that many times but don't put my hand inside the jar. Even Donna's reaction about Harry was hilarious too. Even Kevin trying to get people away from Harry as they were taking selfies.

Overall, I thought it was very funny. The acting was pretty good and the writing was as well. I thought Harry was very funny in this episode as it's the first time I'd seen him on a sitcom since Will & Grace (and I still haven't forgiven him what he did to Grace). Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Forgotten Plans: Kevin Can Wait "Double Date"

When Kevin and Donna's best friends don't invite them to a four ticket stay at a fancy hotel, they try their best not acting like they care, even though they really, really, really do.

"Double Date" is another really good half hour of comedy. Kevin and Donna react about not being invited to a four ticket stay at a fancy hotel where there's a spa, food and the best weekend you could have in your life (I guess). But when their best friends don't invite them and invited another couple (also their best friend too).

Jealously plays pretty much in this episode as Kevin and Donna believes that they have other friends they could hangout with, but truly no one. Donna calls a friend, who's husband left her for her sister, and soon asked for their number. Kevin couldn't find any either but with the advice from Chale to look up on the internet they take that but Kevin mistakenly signs them up with couples that love to swing and not in a dancing type of way. But they even get turned down from a swinging couple because they weren't feeling it.

After arguing, Kevin and Donna finally go to the hotel with their Russian neighbor and his girlfriend. When they spot their friends across the room, Kevin and Donna tries to get things excited but it wasn't as excited if a child was watching the cook preparing their meal.  But Kevin tries to hype it up and perform to them after flipping shrimp to Donna and their neighbor, he's best friend comes over and asked what they were doing, Kevin and Donna express their hurt that they picked another couple over them.

But the only reason why they didn't asked was that Kevin said he was going to be busy for the next couple of Saturdays because of building the children's play ground for the church for which Kevin forgets and accidentally lets go of the knife and lands on his neighbor's hand and after pulling it out, Kevin faints and lands his head on the grill burning his face. But at the end, Kevin and Donna forgive their best friends and had dinner the rest of the night but Kevin's neighbor was left out and put across the room.

I enjoyed watching this episode a lot and that in face I watched it more than once after it aired. There were many many hilarious moments, one them being the egg jokes that Kevin tries to bring in, the snow kiss movie and not to mention Donna and Kevin learning that they're hanging out with swingers and that they got turned down by them. I thought James and Hayes were really good in this episode, probably one of their best episodes so far this season as they really show chemistry. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Kevin Can Wait "Showroom Showdown"

With it being March, the madness is shown in this week's episode of Kevin Can Wait.

As Kevin tries to make additional money for Kendra's wedding at a sales warehouse, Chale decides to pitch in and work with him. But when Chale gets promoted to sales, Kevin shows is competitive side.

Meanwhile, Kendra and Donna tries to make some wedding cuts with the guest and decides to take the single ones and get them hooked up. Like they did for Kyle how hooked up with Kendra's best friend. They hit it off at first but Kyle decides not to pursue her because of her teeth.

"Showroom Showdown" was a nice welcome back episode after being off for a couple of week. It was funny and there were some memorable scenes like Kevin trying his best to stay in the store instead of the hot warehouse. Also when Kevin smack talk to Chale and eats a bad donut which had pineapple filling.

Also I did fine the second story about Kendra and Donna funny but the only memorable moment was when Kyle tells them about how he didn't like Kendra's friend's teeth as he puts it "not new golf ball white." The writing was good as so was the performance. And it was about time I think that we saw Chale and Kevin going at it. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Kevin Can Wait "Neighborhood Watch"

When Kevin's mailbox is found damaged, he gets his buddies and forms a Neighborhood Watch team.

"Neighborhood Watch" was another funny, and yet it was a somewhat unpredictable episode. When I say unpredictable, it comes to when we figure out who was the one who induced damage to Kevin's mailbox, which was him, so that he could get away from Donna's cousin Irene and her husband, Stewart.

Kevin admits to his buddies about it and how the idea came about. One of his buddies offers them his RV to hang out, and soon, they grow into their place to do their neighborhood watch the next day. Donna asks Kevin to take Stewart out with the guys, but he urges Churgesto to do some damage to his mailbox again, and the following day, Kevin, Chale, and the guys are back out.

But Donna had about had it and sent Irene's husband to Kevin and his buddies. There, he told stories that were a buzz kill, but Kevin got him to inspect the neighborhood. That goes well until he finds the car he thinks hit his mailbox, broke the windows, and air out the tires. Plus, by the time the cops came, they had broken the owner's fence, too.

I enjoyed this episode. I thought that it was funny from the writing and even the cast from James, Cartwright, and even Stewart. Also, Grimm star Clare Coffee guest stars, and she was good. And not to mention, Bas Rutten's character was just hilarious. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait on Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Rivaly Holy War: Kevin Can Wait: "Unholy War"

When Kendra and Chale set their wedding date, Kevin tries to schedule it with the father of their church, but a former childhood rival comes in and tries to get that date as well. It becomes a holy war.

As Kendra tells Donna and Kevin the date of their wedding, they try to get that date approved by Father Phillip. But a longtime childhood rival, Terry, comes by and tries to get the same date. The two go out on their best church behavior to do many good things for the church and Father Phillip, from fixing the light to cleaning the floor with floor waxing mobile.

At the same time, Chale video messages his parents in London, but when Kendra comes in, it just seems that they don't approve of her at all. When Chale and Kendra discuss it, they both tell each other that both of their parents don't seem to approve of them at all and try to rethink the wedding date but rethink it and keep the original date.

But when Kevin fixes the confession door and shuts it, Terry comes in the other and confesses about his sins and tells Kevin the story about his evil heart. At that point, Kevin rethinks it and tells Donna, who had made four lasagnas, told her that they have to give that date to him.

But when Donna tells Terry's wife about the date and how sorry they are about Terry's heart, she tells Donna that he doesn't have a heart condition. Kevin confronts Terry as they collect money, and the two take it outside and battle it until Kevin gets knocked over the steps. And the two of them never got the date later on as Kevin confessed to Father Phillip.

"Unholy War" has been very much enjoyable. There were plenty of humorist moments. Kevin tries to unaccept Kendra's wedding date with a Mets game, but it turns out to be an away game. Kevin and Terry are going at it with the floor cleaning mobile and even Kevin and Donna with the lasagna, that it's one word instead of two.

Kim Coates was excellent as Kevin's childhood rival, Terry. The two played each other very well. Also, Hayes and even Ryan Cartwright were amazing. Cartwright's performance acting like Kevin was hilarious. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait on Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

(Grimm fans, Claire Coffee will be on next week's episode.)

Save My Bad Back: Kevin Can Wait "Choke Doubt"/"The Black Out"

"Choke Doubt"

When Kevin saves someone's life from choking, he doesn't take any credit from it but when he hears that his brother saved a cat from a fire then the tables have turned.

"Choke Doubt" has some funny moments but it's mostly comes from the storyline between Donna and Chale when they help figure out the stuff for the wedding. While Donna knows what her daughter wants to have at her wedding, Chale seems to know too and it becomes a battle.

The moment when they were trying to figure out flowers and a dress one of the funniest moments.

As for Kevin and Kyle, there was some humor and the rest was plan nonsense to watch. Even the two got on morning television and Kevin still couldn't let it go and tries to call the guy he saved but the connection was breaking up on the phone. It really didn't do enough for me to enjoy as Donna and Chale.

Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

"The Black Out"

When Donna invites new friends over to the house, one of them a chiropractor. Kevin goes in to get his back adjusted and comes out with more pain than he did before.

"The Back Out" was one of the best episodes. Both storylines were great and so was the cast at their best. Kevin and Donna dealing with news friends, they may seem to like them but when Kevin gets his back adjusted it's no more with him. Donna thinks he should stick it out, but when she gets her back adjust she understands completely but wants to stick it out because they were up for a weekend at their friend's beach house. That kind of fell through when both Kevin and Donna were spotted at another chiropractor in the same building as their friend.

Meanwhile, Chale needs to decide who's his best man at his wedding and the one guy pulling the audition was Kyle.   Kyle tries to win Chale over that he can be the best man by making a list of what he likes and dislikes and also dressing up the part as it was best describe as an albino husky that got trapped in the late 90's early 2000's.

I'd enjoyed this episode much more than the previous episode. There were so many good scenes from Kevin getting back adjust from the friend to trying to take his jacket off in his bedroom and rolls off the bed where Donna finds him on the floor thinking that he was looking for M&Ms. And even when Kyle come out looking like that albino husky with blue eyes and tight, tight pants on.

Overall,  I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

A Ring of Memories: Kevin Can Wait "Ring Worm"

New Year, New Episode!!

When Kendra questions on the whereabouts of Chale, Kevin digs into it and gets a reminder of a promise that he had made long ago.

When Kevin finds out what Chale has been up to, working to save money to buy Kendra an engagement ring, it pop into Kevin's head that he promised Donna that he would get her a better one than he got her. Jumping to 20 plus years, he forgets and tries to make it right.

That leads to trouble when it comes to getting the money. He gets advice from his brother and friend about sneaking money into the account with her seeing the bank statement, that he thinks comes in the mail but didn't know you can check in online (uh oh!).

So when she sees that $6,000 was transferred into their checking account, Kevin tells her that he was going to buy and dirt bike but she disapproves it but she quickly learns from Chale that he was going to use the money to buy her a ring. After feeling bad and getting excited she plays him into getting the bike. That gets Kevin thinking that he should get the bike and not the ring and when it came time to getting the bike, Donna thinks they were getting a ring along the way.

But it was until they get to the bike shop and sees what Kevin wants to buy. Disappointed and wanting to go home, Kevin tries to get her to open the hatch on the back of the bike but after the third time he tells her, she did and sees the ring.

It lead to a really good surprise that really ended up that Donna didn't want the ring after all since her regular one contains so much memories. But she proposes to him on getting that bike and the two rides around the woods in front of the kids popping wheelies and splashing mud on Jack, their son.

This was a good episode to start the new year, there were hilarious moments at times and there were some that didn't stick out. But watching Kevin and Donna is enough in this episode to be hilarious. I find the Chale-Kendra story plot okay there was some okay moments, let along better when Kendra and Kevin were having a daughter-dad talk. Also the cold opening of the spider was funny and the breakfast scenes with the kids as well.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Kevin Can Wait "Kevin's Bringing Supper Back" & I'll Be Home For Christmas...Maybe"

"Kevin's Bringing Super Back"

When Kevin realizes that spending time with family isn't what it seems to be anymore, he tries fixing it the best why he can, his own way.

When Kevin offers to get the kids up for school instead of Donna, she tells him it's not that easy that there will be words and such. But when Kevin does it, there might have been some difficultly at first but with a blow horn that all changed.

Even when Kevin tries to make pancakes for the family, none of them had time to sit at the table and eat like a family. He described Donna as a opossum eating at a garbage can when she was eating her breakfast quick before going to work. Kevin tries with a bit a family game night.

When the family gets around for Monopoly, let's just say it didn't turn out the way Kevin had imagined it or even bubble soccer. After talking with Donna about it, he got an idea for a Sunday family dinner. During the dinner things bubbled up again with arguments but when Kevin set it straight about  how this is the only family they've got. And after things began to be humble.

But when Kevin went to get a beer, he gets a call from his friends about how they got Billy Joel tickets. Kevin tries to play it cool when Donna came in and tells him that Jack has a cool game, but she figured out about Billy Joel thanks to a text message from one of the wives. She told him that he has a choice to make and of course, it's with Billy Joel. It was a good 2 minutes of concert playing and Kevin singing along too.

This was a really hilarious episode of a dad who wants to get this family connected again. About time we see the whole family this time, since it's been a while. The part when Kevin blow horns the kids was hilarious also making them breakfast and seeing Donna eating her breakfast fast was another. Even the bubble soccer was another one too. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

I'll Be Home For Christmas...Maybe

When Mott's wife leave for the holidays, Kevin steps up and helps Mott and his seven kids prepare for Christmas.

Kevin and Donna join Mott and his wife for a night out. They learn that she checks her phone many times because of the babysitters quit middle of their job. She explains how hard it is to raise seven kids, but when Kevin opens up his mouth about it that upsets her and she runs off.

With Christmas just around the corner, Donna believes that this year will be the year that she'l get her list done. She ask Kevin to get the lights out but they were tangled and was too lazy to do it. But he gets a call from Mott to help him with the kids by babysitting them. It turned into a day of terror to a night of success for Kevin as he got the kids to behave so well.

Meanwhile, Kyle comes over and helps Donna out. He expresses that he has nothing to do for Christmas expect watching Home Alone at his place...all alone. After Kyle fills in for Kevin and helps out with Donna from decorating the Christmas tree, telling Jack about the birds and the bees (mistakenly for just the bees), and  hunting a Christmas tree.

But all things had to come to an end , Mott's wife finally came back with gifts and a disappointing looking Kevin too. But when Kevin went back home and saw what Kyle, Donna and the family were doing, there was only one thing left for him to do, put up the Santa and his sleigh up on the roof, like many years before. Because it wasn't a Gable Family Christmas til Kevin falls off the roof.

I enjoyed this episode a lot more than I first watched it. I watched it three times and after the second or third time it was really enjoyable. The writing was good and so was the actors as well. The family swap seemed to be an old story but this one really sticks well. Kevin James and Erinn Hayes were really good. Overall, I give it a 8/10.

Helping and Serving: Kevin Can Wait "The Power of Positive Drinking" & "The Fantastic Pho"

The Power of Positive Drinking

When asked to talk to his daughter about sticking with her classes than working, Kevin gets roped into the bar tending business.

When Kendra takes extra shifts at the pizza place instead of focusing on her classes, Donna tells Kevin to talk her about it when he's asked to help serve a guy beer. But when he gives the man his beer Kevin also listens to the guy's problem and then gives him some advice. After getting a big tip from him and recommending what to order to a couple of guys, Kevin gets a job as the new bartender.

Kevin turns into a Sam Malone meet Tony Robbins kind of bartender. He gives so many life changing advises to people that he ignores Donna with her problems, trouble at work and having her wisdom tooth taken out. After saving enough money to buy a smoker, Donna asks Kevin to stop, but the guy couldn't as he feels he can help people.

It turns worst for him when he forgets to pick up Donna. She calls him at the bar but when he answers he thinks it's some dude prank calling him and calls her a loser. After apologizing for the mishap, Donna tells him to quit his job, but Kevin doesn't want to.

As he waits for his last paycheck, he dreams of him being the Tony Ribbon's figure of the place and tries to change even Chale's lifestlye by walking on hot coals (bad idea!). But after picking up his last paycheck, more people came to him for advice and Kevin just took it and helped.

It wasn't til Kevin came home that everyone was there waiting Donna, Kendra and his buddies. It turns into an intervention and he hears the bad things that happen from his brother who got fired and banded from Citi Field stadum to even the two people he first gave advise to which turned out one losing her boyfriend and friends and the other his home and job.

Trying to put his spin on it, Donna gives him the ultimate warning: taking back the smoker. Kevin admits he has a problem but doesn't know what to do and gets a hug from everyone.

This was by far the funniest episode of the season. There were so many hilarious one liners and  such that I couldn't stop laughing. I could literally rewatch this episode multiple times and still laugh at the same jokes. For one when Donna tells Kevin that her wisdom tooth is bothering her and ask him to talk to Kendra, he tells her that maybe it's a sign from God to...you know... Also the Tony Ribbons thing was funny as well. Even the end where he tries to get out of a situation with advice but couldn't. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

The Fantastic Pho

In this episode, after quitting the last couple of jobs due to management being at a young age, Kevin tries to think of what he wants to do to make some money as it turns into one of his passions...food.

After sampling some cheese at a local grocery store, where he's a security guard, Kevin gets called into the manager's office, who happens to be a young guy who took over from his father. He calls him telling him that he doesn't like him taking cheese samples, even though the lady offered some. After that Kevin had enough and walked out, but not without taking some cheese and kissing the lady too.

Kevin meets with Donna at a Vietnamese restaurant, he tells her about he lost he last job. He's also worried about the place that he's in as he doesn't like foreign foods, but when he tried the restaurant's pho soup, he was in heaven.

The next day he got the idea of what to do with his life and that was going into the food truck business. Bring in the guy from the restaurant, he tries to get some investors going, which means getting his buddies involved and Donna. After trying to convince, he gets everyone's approval.

The food truck business turns out to be a success, but any success goes, there's a down fall and boy does the downfall show up fast. Kevin goes around talking with people waiting for food or eating and hands out cards calling him the CEO of the company. But when his partner ask him to do something, it begins a backlash. That backlash would end up his partner leaves after not taking something out of his soup.

That lead to Kevin making his own Pho soup that turns out to be a no go and headed into an emergency meeting with his investors, where he talks about serving his brother's firehouse chili. After trying to find something new to served the people, Donna tells Kevin that he should give the business up and to his partner, but the guy turned him down because he got his own truck. That lead to pitching the food truck idea to his former boss at the grocery store, for which he accepted. And Kevin and Donna celebrated with cheese and kissing the same cheese sampler lady.

This episode was okay but it wasn't as like the previous episode. There was humorist moments like the first scenes of the episode where Kevin walks out and stuffs his face full of cheese and kiss the cheese sampler lady. But this episode was a predictable as it comes. This happens to be another forgettable episode that's once seen, will forget later on kind of thing. Overall, I give this episode a 6/10.
