Trial & Searching: Chicago Justice "Comma"/"Drill"

"Comma"

When a scavenger hunt becomes deadly, the one suspect that everyone wants to pin it on is the one that was trialed for murdered in another country.

"Comma" was another good episode that delivered what we thought would be the suspect but gave a very nice twist of who done it. And it answers the question that do we jump to the gun on who the suspect is quickly?

When a scavenger hunt goes wrong and a college student is murdered, the one suspect comes to everyone at the State's Attorney's office is the one that was in a high profile trail in Spain. But in this case, looks can be deceiving when clues comes in that she wasn't there at the time of the murder and the  murder weapon didn't have her fingerprints either.

But when learning of the victim was a gun advocate, they found someone who was with her who happens to be an anti-gun supporter. Putting her on trial, the ball really dropped at to what she believed and how she was more influenced by her professor about guns saying that he was like her father in a way someone that she has never had in her life before, being supportive and so.The jury founded the victim guilty.

After i do enjoy the conversation between Jefferies and Stone about how do college students get so stupid with how his daughter after coming home gets angry with him about fighting over at Vietnam and Stone was mad at his family for clearing out the Native Americans. After that Jefferies calls the Security of State's office to help clear the first suspect in the case to be free from having to go back to Spain after testifying against the suspect.

This was a very good episode. I thought the writing was good and the acting was there too. The meaning really does open up of how college students can be influenced by professors for a cause. It's a real touchy subject for me anyway. Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

"Drill"

When a gun is turned in for buy back it turns out to be a murder weapon, but the twist comes down to who it belongs to during a trail.

When a man brings in a gun for the buy back project, it turned out to have blood on it and takes the man into custody about where he found the gun. The gun turns out to be a murder weapon for a trail that has an innocent man on trail.

After learning about this, the suspect on trail is released and when he gets dropped off, he gets attacked from other gang members because he was a snitch. Trying to find who used the gun, Stone uses the most powerful weapon he could do, shut off every gang member's social media counts. Apparently it worked and when it did, had someone testified and soon admitted that he was the suspect after showing how to use the gun that had a broken spring.

This was another good episode. There was some very good dramatic moments. But it was Stone boldly taken on people and their social media that really could be the conversation that everyone would talk about. Is it the right thing to do? Could it really serve a purpose on shutting down gang member's social media if they're gonna take down someone? Probably. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Chicago Justice Sunday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

NBC Pulled Off Powerless

Well it looks like NBC has pulled the plug on Powerless.

On Tuesday, the superhero-adjacent comedy has been pulled from the Peacock Network's Thursday night schedule, which in short terms means that it's good as cancelled. It'll be pulled off this week, with Superstore shifting into it's time slot 8:30/7:30c with reruns airing at 8/7c for the next two weeks.

Powerless, starring Vanessa Hudgens as the research director at a security company that protects average citizens from the superhero battles raging all around. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi (Community), Ron Funches (Undateable) and Christina Kirk (A to Z).

The series has been struggling in the ratings since it's February debut. Last week's episode pulled a 2.1 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, which is a 30 percent drop from it's Superstore lead-in.

Two episodes of the show's original 13 episode order still have yet to air and that includes the one guest spot from TV's original Batman, Adam West. It's unclear when or if those those episodes will air.

This really puts a damper on my day after hearing about this news. I've enjoyed watching Powerless and thought that it was a good show. I thought Vanessa Hudgens brilliantly funny and last week really proved it. I hope there might be an 11th hour decision to bring it back and maybe go back to the original idea of the show and maybe spin it off in like an Earth One or Earth Two concept. That would be very cool to pull off.

Spring Awakening: The Blacklist "Dembe Zuma (No.10)"/"Requiem" spring return

Image result for the blacklist season 4

The Blacklist is back and Red's day of wrecking has come! Hey now! Hey now! The Blacklist is back!!

Sorry about that, I've gotten that tune in my head before the new episodes of The Blacklist aired Thursday with an epic two hour spring return event.

The first episode "Dembe Zuma (No. 10)" was a very good episode that started off with Dembe taking Aram from his home and away from his girlfriend, Janet. Since the last episode, we had thought that Dembe might have poisoned Reddingotn, but as Aram and all of us have found out, that he knew Red was poison and the only way to find out was to do it while accused of it.

Aram believes Dembe and helps with try to see who has hacked into Red's hidden places and a name comes up that gave Dembe a look that someone has come from the grave. As that was happening, Red and Liz spend some very nice time together (yeah!!) not only where Dembe is but locating his daughter so he could get to him.

They search for Dr. Sophia Gallup that has aired criminals, who get released from prison to kill those that had killed her parents. When Red and Liz get to her after capturing her hit men, they see her covered in bees to help the pain after an accident that she had encountered from the ones that had killed her parents. Red asked for the book that she holds of information of those that are hidden and finds Dembe's daughter.

Red asked Dembe's daughter where he might be and soon give him a phone that he sends her with only one number to call. Red calls and gets Dembe, as he is back at the woods and tells him that she's not there. Red ask who but before Dembe could say anything, he gets shot with a bow by the creepy woods man. Red calls Aram asking the name that he and Dembe found and as Aram tells Red, Kate Kaplan. Red spooked as hell, tells Liz about Kaplan as she is the person who's been there through the darkest days.

Red and Liz recues Demebe and takes him to the hospital while Red goes after the woods man. Soon, Red outsmarts the guy and takes him down but the guy had one last shot with a bomb that goes off but Red and his bodyguard rushes out fast. But at the end, Mr. Kaplan answers her phone with a message from that woods man telling her to fight like hell because Reddington is coming.

The second episode "Requiem," opens back int he 60's of a young child saying goodbye to her mother, who happens to be Mr. Kaplan. This episode gives one of the series great backstory of how Mr. Kaplan became Mr. Kaplan and her relationship with Liz, Katarina and even Red.

She was aired as a nanny to watch Liz when Katarina would be doing her undercover job, even spotted her having a backseat relationship with Reddington. But when she helped Katarina with a guy that was trying to kill her and we see her first cleaning job.

As Katarina went on the lamb and Kaplan was watching Liz, we see that she gives Liz to what would be her "foster father. Later after dropping of Liz, she's at a bar and meets a by the name of Annie Kaplan and soon the two were a couple. They work for Little Nikos and soon a man who wants to see him comes in with a gun and not only shoots Annie but Kaplan too. Annie dies and Kaplan survived as the bullet went through her head cleanly. For some reason, she gets by two gun shots to the head like that, she is a lucky person.

We jump to where Red has summoned Kaplan and offered a job to help protect Liz because her life will be endanger. She tells him that she'll help him but if she had to choose between him or Liz, it would be Liz every time and Red agree ( I guess he had forgotten about that meeting ).

While watching the flashbacks, Kaplan in present time was on the road finding something that happen to be in a certain motel, probably the same motel that her and Liz were in hiding at the time. After a bit delay from a couple in the room, she goes in and takes part of the wall out and gets out suitcases.

As soon as Red calls Kaplan, she tells him that she's gonna bring him down to where it all hurts...release the bodies of the victims that he had killed, for which Kaplan had stored in an ice rink and leaves with a whole lot of bodies out out.

So we're off to the races! This was a very good, well spent two hour event that I couldn't have been more thrilled and stunned at times. The first episode was so good and amazing from performances not only from Spader but also Boone, Hisham Tawfiq as well. That scene when Red tells Liz about Mr. Kaplan without saying her name til the end of the scene was just so beautifully written. Also Annie Heise steals the episode too as Aram's girlfriend (I'm one who forgives Janet for what she has done as she's really changed Aram's perspective on things). Not to mention, Clark Middleton steals again as Glen Carter and the one scene was given Red and Liz a ride with a student foreign driver.

The second episode was probably the best episode, mostly the best backstory episode on the show (until we get to see Reddington's backstory). It was so beautifully written and so well performed by Joanna Adler as the young Mr. Kaplan and not to mention the original Mr. Kaplan Susan Blommaert. I was amazed how Kaplan's relationship grew for Liz and Katarina and not to mention when she met with Reddington. The episode ended with a chilling way that we've not seen Kaplan like this before, threatening Reddington.

Overall, I give "Dembe Zuma (No. 10)" a 9/10 and "Requiem" a 9/10.

You can catch The Blacklist Thursday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

Retreat at Truth Island: Powerless "Emergency Punch-Up"

This week's episode of Powerless might have been one of it's best.

When the Emily and the team are about to leave for a much needed company group retreat, the supervillian Dr. Psycho releases a toxic gas in Charm City, making the team stuck in the office. But Emily tries her best to make the situation not so terrible by bring the retreat to the office.

Emily serves drinks and even party games, one of the games asked one of each who they would be trapped in a deserted island with: Wendy picked Van, Jackie picked herself but later on picked Ron, Teddy was shocked that Ron didn't pick him because they're best buddies.

Soon when Teddy took the challenge of throwing one of the fake tiki torches to the trash can but missed, hit the window cracking it and letting the gas in which they had to run into next room where they were secured but had no gas mask as they were in the other room surrounded by gas.

Emily goes out there trying to get them, because well, she's the mother of the group she has to do it. Wearing hazmat bags and a bucket helmet (that was used as the bathroom bucket) used as a complete hazmat shit, but gets caught in the gas.

The gas is known as a truth gas and well, the truth really came down from Emily and everyone heard the truth about it..everyone. Emily let them know how she feels that she never gets a thank you from either one of them and how they're like children.

But after Ron goes out there trying to get Emily back in the other room, they do the one thing that they don't want to but Emily has been wanting to do for the retreat: karaoke. They performed Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" which was very good as everyone started and Emily ends it on top and fants after. The next day or after the retreat was over, Emily was back to normal and had no clue what had happen to her but in the end, everyone thank her for all that she has done for them since joining the team.

"Emergency Punch-Up" was literally one of the best episode of the show so far. Not only was this the best ensemble performance from it's cast but Vanessa Hudgens gave her best so far this season. She was just brilliantly hilarious. There was a lot of memorable moments in this episode like the History of Supervillian bit and Dorothy spoiling the ending to Ron, Van's gang of comedy writers even when Emily drops the truth bombs on the gang was great and the karaoke too.  Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Powerless Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Jaw Dropping Ending: The Blacklist Redemption "Whitehall"/"Whitehall: Concussion"

Image result for the blacklist redemptionI've decided to combine both episodes together because I just felt it needed that and it was a two part episode too.

In the episode "Whitehall," after Scottie learns of Tom's true identity, she brings him to get information on what he knows. That's what I call a family reunion. As Solomon torches Tom for some time, beating the crap out of him, Tom escapes and meets up with Howard, who escapes as well.

Howard and Tom work together trying to get to Whitehall. We finally learned that Whitehall isn't a blueprint at all but a person that's being held from Scottie in a undisclosed location. Tom and Howard breaks in and gets Whitehall out but is stopped by Solomon and Nez. Nez double crosses Solomon as he takes Whitehall but Howard, Tom and Nez got the suitcase and soon Howard comes out of the shadows to bring down Scottie saying that she's out of her mind on national television.

In the second episode "Whitehall: Concussion,"   Howard sets up a plan for Tom and Nez to break in the Halycon while he comes in meeting with the board members about this whole mess that he called on television. Things were going well until Solomon gets Whitehall out and Scottie during a lock down and heads off but soon Whitehall is captured by Tom and Nez while Scottie and Solomon escapes.

As the tables turns, things become clearer and clearer that maybe we got the wrong person thinking that they're good. When Scottie looked at the project she sees that she was the one that set the project up but she knows she didn't even after looking at the paper work. Soon Tom and Nez comes in and takes her down while Solomon escapes once again.

Scottie is taken in to custody and things were looking good until Scottie's assistant, Kat comes to find out that Scottie was telling the truth and that the guy that they have been both seeing a buffed up therapist, who was really working with Howard and his team. Making it that Howard was the guy not to trust, which makes Scottie the one who's telling the truth and we see that Howard and Whitehall were teaming together and sees their project coming together leaving at that.

I thought this was one hell of two episodes, thank god it was a separated and not made into a two hour event, for which I would have loved too. The show really tied almost everything but left things in the open that I really want a second season. PLEASE NBC RENEW THIS SERIES!!!! Terry O'Quinn was very, very good in these two episodes and really played Howard so well that I really thought he was the good guy in all of this, boy did he really play us. Even Janssen was amazing as well. The writing was so so solid and can't say enough about the acting as I just did.  But I do want to give a shout out to Theodora Miranne, who really shined in the season finale episode and that I hope if the show comes back that she'll come back.

Overall, I give this two part season finale 8.5/10 and the season a 8/10.

You can catch The Blacklist when it returns tonight at 9/8c with a two part epic return that I'm sure of you don't want to miss out on.

The Truth and Flight: The Blacklist Redemption: "Boreals 301" & "Hostage"

Image result for the blacklist redemption

"Boreals 301"

When Tom and the team face terror, they'll have to go up in the sky to capture them in the act.

When a group of military men of thieves try to steal classified material, Tom and Solomon goes undercover to find them before it's too late and they'll have to find these men on an airplane. Things get a bit dicey for the two guys as things went south. But they didn't know that the classified would be a person, who happens to be kidnapped by someone who wants to win her back.

As Tom saves the plane from going down, Solomon jumped out with one of their men and tries to get him to speak. Just watching Solomon talk is like watching Reddington tell a story as it's just well entertained.

Tom and the team finds Solomon and soon traced the others as well, saving the classified person.

Meanwhile, Howard gets Tom to find one of Scottie's folder that has information of the mission of Whitehall. Tom couldn't find it at first but after the mission when he tries to talk to her, he spots a comic book and soon leaves and buys the same comic book and uses it to decoded the message left on there which proves Howard's theory that Scottie is a bad person but by the time Tom figured it out Solomon captured Howard.

This was a very good episode. This was a very well entertained, well written too. I couldn't get enough of Solomon and Tom scenes as they're just filled the screen with memorable moments. I'm still in the middle of who to trust now that it seems Howard is telling the truth about Scottie. I feel like a ping pong ball that hasn't gone out yet. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

"Hostages"

With a family held hostage to get someone back, Tom and the gang must save and bring the person the kidnappers want back. But that was just the tip of the ice berg here as there's more.

A wealthy family gets kidnapped from professional kidnappers and for exchange the leader wanted one of the guys that was captured by the government. Tom and the team try to do what they do to satisfied them til they find the guy they are asking for and who they were asking for was a man who happens to be the kidnapper's brother.

Tom find the man and tries talking to the man to come and that he'll be safe. As they make the exchange, Tom tries to follow them but after losing them, they found a better way of tracking as the kid took their cell phone.

Tom, Nez and Solomon made they're way into the warehouse where the guy was being held up and the shocking thing was that the man that coordinated this was the family's lawyer, what a twist. They swept in and saved their guy and the man's brother helped too.

But this episode really took off when Tom tries his best to save Howard from the hospital that Scottie. Tom breaks in and tries to get Howard out but he gets caught and soon Scottie figures out who's working with Howard and got him out that she even went to Howard and demanded answers about Tom til he tells her that Tom is her son. She freaks and tries calling off the hit from Solomon on Tom and after the third time telling Solomon he does.

This episode was so so good, mostly because of how Scottie learns Tom is working with Howard and that he's her son. I thought that was so good and eve intense as well. Of course, it was great to see Cooper on the show, I can't wait to see him when The Blacklist returns. I thought this was Jansen's best performance on the show so far. The writing was good for that storyline. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

It's Never Easy Being a Green Superhero: Powerless "Green Furious"

When Emily goes to her first board meeting, she speaks out about her product that's about to get the ax and gets the latest superhero to sponsor it.

In "Green Furious" Emily gets invited to her first board meeting, but when she speaks up about her product that's about to get the ax, she tells them that she can get Green Fury to sponsor the product. The head of the board agrees after Green Fury came after Emily used the Green Call Button that she got after saving her during the cold open.

Emily thinks that having Green Fury do the commercial would help not only her but Fury as well after the newspaper headlines really attacking her over the breakup of her and The Olympian. Heck, they were even together on the front page at the latest super couple in Charm City.

Things were looking great for Emily but when filming day came, her idea took a different turn than what she wanted as the creative team thought of more sex to the screen. After telling Green Fury about it, Emily stands up soon comes up with a better commercial ad this time with The Olympian naked and covered in bubbles while washing the car. Green Fury comes and gives him the product that protects anyone from lasers and fire. It tested positive with the focus groups of females 18-49.

Also Teddy tries to get another try at asking Green Fury out. He asked everyone of their opinion of a leather jacket and even wore a sweater that said he's a feminist and eye liner.

And not to mention, Jackie gets jealous of how her daughter and Wendy get along and even told her why she was in a fight with a kid. She got so jealous that she was going to give her kid to Wendy but she finally learned why and it was because that kid was making fun of Jackie.

I thought that this was a good episode. I thought that Hudgens and Morales were great together in this episode. The Wendy and Jackie story was pretty good, not my favorite favorite but it was good to say the least. I couldn't get enough of Teddy and his crush on Green Fury. The writing on this was pretty good, I would say the memorable moments would be Emily/Fury and Teddy putting on eye liner and asking Fury out. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch Powerless Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Fight for Office Justice: Powerless "Van v. Emily: Dawn of Justice"

It's a battle for the office, who'll win in this great battle between Emily and Van?

When Emily ask Van to move from the cubical office to a real office, Van denies her. But when she get the Corp's approval, its game on on who gets the office. Emily challenges Van to the Green Arrow archer game for the office, but before the game could begin, Jackie, Teddy, Ron and Wendy explain to her why he should win instead of her, mostly because he'll act like a big baby.

When the game begins, Emily pretends to lose the match until Van really got to her and showed off how good she really is. But after a quick time out, Emily shows off one more time and with heavy confidence she actually misses and loses the match against Van, but instead of just losing big time, Van gave everyone new chairs, donuts and even Emily's office as well.

Emily didn't take losing at all and tries to come clean to Van after looking through his childhood trophies that his family has been babying him his whole life. After the truth bomb, she apologies for her actions and the two made up.

Meanwhile, Teddy builds a super crush on the newest superhero in town, Green Fury. He tries to get her attention by falling off the roof again, but gets picked up by the Olympian. Tries to use the Green Fury signal like Batman but that didn't work at all until  he was walking with his girlfriend, Hannah and gets her purse stolen that Green Fury came and stopped the robber. Teddy makes a fool of himself to both Hannah and Fury.

"Van v Emily: Dawn of Justice" was another good episode between Emily and Van, maybe not top of the list so far but it's there along with the others. Hudgens and Tudyk really show comedy chemistry and not to mention Danny Pudi's character falling in love with Green Fury played by Natalie Morales, who plays the superhero very well. The writing was good, it could have been a little better but it had some memorable moments. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch Powerless Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Health Challenge: Kevin Can Wait ""Quiet Diet"

When Donna challenges Kevin to get his cholesterol down so he could go to Mets Fantasy Camp, Kevin plays a trick on her.

"Quite Diet" is another Donna and Kevin going at it situation that I enjoy watching from time to time. When Donna and Kevin need to get a check up for their insurance, if they have a lower cholesterol levels their premiums go down but not they're paying a lot. Donna tries to motivate Kevin into eating healthy by offering him to go to Mets Fantasy camp if he's levels are low.

Kevin tells Donna that he can do it and soon gets Chale's help in on it and uses his cleanser that he has used when he was a chubby kid in a photo and his own pants. After the next couple of days and sweaty nights, Kevin makes it to test day and surprising passes it, which does shock Donna and learns that she has high cholesterol.

After the test results, Donna goes on an extreme health plan, but Chale lets her on what Kevin has done and later plays his little game as she pretends to give Kevin what he wants from a second wife if she dies. But he catches on and admits to what he did and how he fooled her with the cleanser. The two agree and tried the cleanser out and at the end they were getting over the heavy sweats and moving into the hallucinations where Donna saw a six-pack abs Kevin and Kevin saw Donna as a taco.

I thought this was a very good and funny episode. I thought that James and Hayes were hilarious and probably one of their funniest situational episodes together. During most of the episode I couldn't get enough of what they would do after each other would have died from getting a second spouse. Also the ice cream thing was also pretty funny too and clever as well and we get to learn that Chale was an overweight kid, which was kind of fun for Kevin to make fun of but also bonded them as well. The writing was good. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Unforgettable: Chicago Justice "Dead Meat"/"Double Helix"/"Lily's Law"

"Dead Meat"

When a cop is found murdered in a tub at a motel, the case leads to one of Stone's cases that he lost. But as they always say, the second time is the charm, right?

"Dead Meat" was a perfect episode story between Stone and the man he tried to bring down years ago but never did—a bit of cat and mouse at will.

When the State's Attorney's office gets called of a dead cop in a motel, it leads to them a butcher owner who had previous encounters with mostly Antonio and Stone. But for Stone, he feels like he has gotten him now and not only goes for the case but tries to bring the previous case to court as well.

When a knife from evidence is out, Stone goes by people's accounts and stories. After he questions the suspect in court about how he didn't know that a former worker was in the barn at the time of a fire, he was trying to save the pigs and told of the technique he uses for which Stone remembered how the latest victim had died.

Stone and Anna talk with the suspect and his lawyer and bring in the wife of the previous case to see him say that he killed her husband. Stone throws in a deal and tells them his theory of the murder went down, and after showing photos of the victim, the suspect takes the deal and admits that he had killed the wife's husband, too.

This episode was excellent as we learned more and more about how Stone works in the business and what he had learned from his father. I thought the writing was terrific, and the acting between Winchester was also excellent. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

"Double Helix"

In a chilling case, Stone faces an issue that's another flash from the past, and a mother tries to get her daughter back.

When Antonio inspects a warehouse, they find the dead body of a woman in a freezer. Later, they learned that the victim was pregnant, and her baby was stolen. The question relies on who took the baby and whether it is okay.

After searching around, they looked into the victim's workplace and even the yoga class, where a group of friends mentioned an ex-boyfriend. They headed to the boyfriend's apartment, where he explained that he was shut out of her life six months ago but always tried to get back together. They returned to his apartment when they found out that he had connected with her, but it was his girlfriend who linked and mentioned that the victim was with one of her pregnant yoga friends, Dawn.

When they get to Dawn's place, she has the baby, but after she lets them in and puts the baby down, Antonio sees that the baby's face is blue. They arrested her and tried her for murder, but it also opens up the case of genetics because Dawn is the daughter of a murderer that Stone not only convicted as his first high-profile case.

The considerable debate was about genetics and whether it must be passed down to the next generation. In this case, for Stone, it doesn't, and proved that she did. She wanted a child because she couldn't have any. She was convicted of two counts of murder.

Meanwhile, Dawn's father tries to get a new trial as new evidence has come out saying that Dawn killed the woman he was convicted of. When it was Stone's turn to speak, he didn't do much til he let a big got you on him with that if she had committed the murder, his plea deal was a whole lie and not to mention that four other murders were in Indiana that he did for which he asked that he would be tried there because in Indiana there is the death plenty.  He was sent.

"Double Helix" was an excellent episode; not only did it open up the genetics conversation (for which it isn't that old of a conversation), but it was an excellent debate on and off screen. Also, Joelle Carter's performance was amazing as we learned about her situation getting her child back and her history of her father being the cause of her pill-popping, which it wasn't. This would be another memorable episode. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

"Lilly's Law"

This episode might as well be the most conversational this season.

When one of the jury members asked to leave because it had become stressful, she was later found dead in the Chicago River with duct tape around her hands and mouth. This case will go Stone fighting for the victim like any before.

When investigating the victim's death, they found that her ex-husband had been text messaging her over 60 times in three days before she had died, with most of them very threatening and demanding messages about how a lousy parent she is and how she shouldn't be on the jury for the trial.

After reviewing everything they gathered, Stone and the team go after the ex-husband for all the bullying he's done to her and give her the thought of killing herself, which she did. Soon, Stone goes to the one person who would know all, the son. He asked him about his mother and if he loved his mother. Not to mention using his cell phone and showing the jury a video message to his mother about how he hated her and all that, but he confessed that it wasn't he that meant to say those words that it was written out for his dad to make him tell them.

When the jury found the ex-husband guilty, in one of the most shocking twists, the judge changed the jury's verdict and let the husband go free because the jury let their emotions get in the way of this case. My jaw was down to the floor when I saw that happen.

Ultimately, Stone tries to change a law that makes text messaging a rule, calling it Lilly's Law. In the meantime, in the end, he goes to an old friend's place to make amends to her because he didn't speak up about the beatings she got in a previous relationship.

This was one of the most shocking and disturbing episodes yet. The ending to the case was a shock, but I think what Stone did, from proposing a new law to making amends to an old friend, helped settle the "oh my god" moment. I thought the case was terrific in this episode, as everyone played very well. Winchester and Carter's characters stood out in this episode very well. The writing was excellent, too. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Chicago Justice on Sunday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

Meanwhile, Van spotted a nice surprise in his bathroom and goes Law & Order on who pooped in his toilet. There were many memorable moments like when Van tries to get his oldest employee to confess and he tells her that she might have turder she wrote or Law & Order BM. As much as I enjoy hearing poop jokes, this was both funny and stupid at the same time.

Van pulls Teddy, Ron and Wendy and tries to get them to confess but none of them do and after trying to pull a Spartacus on Van, Van gets an email of the security video of who might have done it and it turns out that it was only a bee that Jackie had killed earlier and didn't realize.

I thought that "I'm a Friend You" was a very good episode that played to Emily's most frequent characteristic, trying to be close friends. I do love the chemistry between Hudgens and Kirk again in this episode. Also Tudyk was funny at times too. The writing was pretty good with memorable moments. I give this episode 7.5/10.

You can catch Powerless Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Mistaken Identity: Kevin Can Wait "Kenny Can Wait'

When Donna takes away Kevin's cable package due to cost for their daughter's wedding, Kevin takes on a job driving a famous celebrity.

"Kenny Can Wait" has some real funny moments as Kevin becomes friends with Harry Connick, Jr. as he's Harry's driver. Harry mistaken Kevin as Kenny and after that Kevin starts lying his way about what he does from given back to charity to even play the saxophone. But Kevin confesses to Harry on his television show near the end of the episode and what hurt Kevin the most was seeing Goody's wife perform on his show.

There were some memorable moments from Kevin trying to get whatever is left in the peanut butter jar in the cold opening. I know I have tried that many times but don't put my hand inside the jar. Even Donna's reaction about Harry was hilarious too. Even Kevin trying to get people away from Harry as they were taking selfies.

Overall, I thought it was very funny. The acting was pretty good and the writing was as well. I thought Harry was very funny in this episode as it's the first time I'd seen him on a sitcom since Will & Grace (and I still haven't forgiven him what he did to Grace). Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

The Strengthen of Family: Grimm "The End" Series Finale

Everything comes down to this: will Nick defeat his greatest enemy?

Let me start by saying that this was a roller coaster ride that gave birth to so many ups and downs that my heart felt the need to sink to the ground (once again). Beware, there are spoilers here!

The episode picks up right after the last episode. Nick wakes up and finds both Hank and Wu dead and tries to use the stick to bring them back, but nothing seems to work. Trubel comes and agrees to use their old weapons against the Zerstorer. After talking with Adalind and Renard on the phone, Nick tells Trubel to head over to where Adalind and Renard are while he goes to the Spice Shop.

As Nick gets to the Spice Shop, Rosalee, Monroe, and Eve might have the option to end the beast, and that has to do with the blood of a Wesen, Hexenbiest, and a Grimm. After Nick hears about it, Rosalee and Monroe head over to the cabin, but when Nick and Eve are about to head out and talk about no regrets, the beast shows up. Eve tries to attack the beast but fails and is forced to stab herself. Nick rushes to her aid but dies just before saying, "No Regrets." And as soon as he places her on the bed at the spice shop, he goes mad and uses the ax to trash the spice shop.

As Rosalee and Monroe get to the Cabin, they tell Adalind what they have planned, and they set everything up. Nick gets there, and they start the process of potion. As the potion is ready, Diana wakes up and tells Renard she isn't tired and scared because the Zerstorer is coming. After all, it followed Nick because of that stick.

As the beast walks away with Diana, Renard goes out and tries to stop him; after a couple of hits and punches, Renard gets stabbed by the beast's stick and dies. Nick, Adalind, Rosalee, and Monroe try to battle him together, even splashing the potion onto its face. It looked like it was working til it stopped Nick from slicing his head with the ax. Adalind yells to Trubel to get out of here with Kelly, but it's too late, as they are locked in for good.

This is where things get very intense as they battle the beast; nothing is stopping him. And not even within a two-minute mark, it killed Adalind, Monroe, and Rosalee. Emotions run very high; as Nick hears noises in the cabin, he rushes in and sees that the beast has also killed Trubel. Nick tells the beast that he will not let him have his son, and the beast tells him that it doesn't have to come to that, and the one thing he wants is the stick. For the stick, the beast can make everything back to average friends/family alive and brings Trubel to prove it. After looking at Kelly, he offers to give the stick, but Trubel stops him and asks why he wants him to hand it and why he can't take it.

As Nick is about to hand over the stick, Trubel fights him and runs with it through the woods. Soon, they both fight for it and as Nick stops, he walks back but is controlled by his mother and Aunt Marie, who tells him he needs to find his strength within. After learning about the meaning of the stick, they both walk toward the beast and battle him along with Trubel. After stabbing and slicing his arm, Nick finishes the beast off by stabbing him with his stick to the heart, killing it.

Nick and Trubel look around, and he runs to Adalind's side and takes off the ring. After Diana shows up and Nick is about to use the stick on Adalind, the beast suddenly turns to dust and transforms into a portal where it is pulling Nick and the stick. As he can't stop it, Nick is pulled through, and we see that it hurts him back to where he and Eve make it back. He is still in the wrong place after all, and when Nick realizes that he sees everyone alive. Diana tells him that the Zerstorer didn't come through the portal. Nick gets emotional and very much like Dorothy and George Bailey's type and tells everyone how he thought he lost everyone he loved. Everyone comes in for a big Grimm family hug, but Monroe spots the giant stick and asks Nick why and how this got here.

That's where we hear a voiceover and move ahead 20 years later to a trailer in the woods and Kelly writing about how his father, Nick, got the strength from his family's blood of Aunt Marie, Mother, and second cousin Trubel battling the beast. Soon Diana comes in and tells him to come that their parents are taking down a Wesen and also the twins are going to come along. As soon as Kelly is done, he takes the stick and leaves, but Diana turns and uses her powers to close the Grimm book, and the screen goes black with the caption "The End" in all different languages.

This was hands down one of the best series finales I've seen in recent years. This played with so many emotions: watching everyone dying put a lot of heartache and stress in my heart. But the twist was that Nick was still in that different world. I agree that it had that Wizard of Oz montage, but it also had that It's a Wonderful Life, with Nick telling Trubel that he wants everyone to live again. I thought that when Nick and his mother and aunt came back was unique and uplifting as they tried to give him the strength and battle the Zerstorer and the scene where they slowly walked was so kick-ass, and so was the battle.

When Nick got back to the real world, it was just heartwarming and tearful. It's incredible that after six seasons, this show still has kept its actors and hasn't left the show. I'm delighted with the ending, glad Nick and Adalind are together and have a family known to battle the weapons with their little family, the Grimm detective agency. The writing was so so damn good. The cast was outstanding and played so well to each other and their strengths. Overall, I give this final episode a 10/10. Also, I give this season a 9.5/10.

What did you think of last night's series finale? Was it satisfying? Did it not? Leave a comment!
