NBC Renews Brooklyn Nine-Nine for Season 7

Looks like the 99 will be staying on NBC for another year.

TVLine has learned that NBC has renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a seventh season.

"It's been one of our great joys as a network to give Brooklyn Nine-Nine a second life," said Lisa Karz and Tracey Pakosta, Co-Presidents of Scripted Programming, NBC Entertainment. "Cheers to Dan Goor, Mike Schur, Luke Del Tredici and David Miner, and out amazing cast and crew who each week turn New York's finest into New York's funniest."

The once FOX series, now NBC, made it's debut on Thursday, Jan. 10 with 3.56 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating, improving on it's time slot predecessor Will & Grace' fall average by 50 percent, while hitting a two-year demo high. Also versus its previous season opener, B99 was up 82 and 71 percent.

The news of the pick up follows the previous renewals of The Good Place for Season 4 and Will And Grace for Season 11.

You can catch Brooklyn Nine-Nine  Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.
