The wait is finally over. Ghosts has returned! Here's a recap of the season premiere.
In the season premiere, picking up moments after the season three finale, Sam and the rest of the ghosts realize that Isaac has been missing, only to learn that Patience, a mentally unstable Puritan ghost, sweeps him back into the hole that they went along with Sass and Thor were in long ago.
There, Isaac tries to reason with her, but instead of taking him back to the house, she brings Sass back. Patience learns that Isaac and Sass are talking behind her and decides to return them. After returning, Sam and the other realize that Patience is also alone and decides to bring her into the house by a ghost chain, thanks to skinny legs Trevor's idea.
Meanwhile, Sam and Jay face some issues with the water bill, only to learn that there's a leaky pipe, which happens to be where Patience is staying. Mark tells them they need to decide on wall coloring before a particular color is gone, but Isaac denies it just in time to give his two cents.
"Patience" was a good season premiere episode with enough humor and wit to enjoy. Mary Holland's casting as Patience was a good choice, as she played the character so well and sometimes in a creepy way. I can't wait to see how they use her this season, maybe as a more recurring character than a supporting one, like the basement ghosts.
Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
