When Ron shares his realistic advice about losing weight, Joyce notices that the patient has left a negative review about the hospital's service and Ron. In her effort to encourage Ron to apologize, things don’t unfold exactly as Joyce had hoped. However, after some time, Ron discovers a spark of kindness within himself. He not only sincerely apologizes to the patient but also plays a crucial role in saving his life when he goes into cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, Alex discovered that someone had referred to her as snippy in a review. They tried to attribute this comment to another nurse named Alex, who cares for elderly patients on a different floor. Before long, you might notice Alex becoming snippy with other staff members, including Serena, as one reviewer called her the Beyoncé of nurses. What do you all think about that? But Alex and Ron came to other terms that they could change their attitude towards the patients and even the staff.
Bruce opens up about his experiences with bullying in high school due to his weight, sharing a memory of one of the kids who teased him. Interestingly, he decides to look for this person to see how life has treated him, only to find out that he's been through some tough times, which genuinely surprises Bruce.
"People Just Say Stuff Online" was another solid episode, bringing the good humor and heart this show has brought since the first episode. It’s interesting how Bruce strives to find his sense of justice against the bully who once teased him in high school. It’s heartwarming to witness how the bully eventually softens and offers support when Bruce really needs it. Alex and Ron's plot was absolutely hilarious! I couldn't help but laugh when Ron suddenly switched his approach with Joyce and became all sensitive about the patients. What a fun twist!
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
