Daredevil: Born Again "The Hollow of His Hand"

This week's episode of Daredevil Born Again was thrilling and engaging. Here are my thoughts.

Oh man, what an episode of Daredevil Born Again that showed its legal courtroom procedures this week. During Hector Ayala's trial, everything was shifting for Murdock. Their sole witness took a surprising turn on the stand, adding unexpected twists to the case. What does Murdock do in response? In a bold move, he claims that Hector is actually the hero White Tiger, a revelation that dramatically changes the course of the trial!

Does that help the case? In a way, the jury found him not guilty on all counts. But when Fisk hears the news, he grants BB an interview to express his stance against having any vigilantes in the city, which he mentioned to Murdock during their conversation at the diner. That is until we see Hector putting on the mask and going out to quickly be killed by someone wearing a Punisher shirt and walking away.

Meanwhile, Fisk gets word of a double homicide at the harbor, as his associates are taking advantage of his absence while he is the mayor. That is until his wife settles the feud with the help of Cashman.

"The Hollow of His Hand" is another fantastic 45 minutes of drama. Most of it is focused on the trial of Hector Ayala, which really kept me on the edge of my seat by the time the jury delivered their verdict. Although I had a gut feeling that something would go wrong for Murdock, it ultimately turned out right for him and his case, even as the witness was on his way to court and the NYPD was trying to intervene and I was like "oh shit! This isn't going to go well." That is until Cherry pulled the QB sneak on them. Is there a group of Punishers out there in NYC? With the tattoos that you see from some of the cops and not to mention the stranger that killed Ayala.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
