Guess what? The Wheelers are back! They’re reaching out to Dan for assistance with their case. Let’s dive into a quick recap!
When Jullanne and Dan decide to make a friendly bet about their lawyer skills, who shows up just in time to join the fun? The Wheelers! Can Dan rise to the challenge and defend the Wheelers in a quirky case about raging chickens?
During the proceedings, Jullanne added a delightful twist by introducing Carol Anne Wheeler, the daughter of Bob and June, to share her testimony. As the day went on, Dan had an enlightening moment realizing that after spending time with Murry, who was consuming the chicken feed, he had let his emotions take over. He regrettably used that moment against Carol Anne, mistakenly implying that the feed had steroids in it.
Of course, Bob and June quickly changed their plea to guilty and accepted Jullanne's plea deal, shocking both her and Dan. But in the end, they won a settlement from the chicken feed company and will invest in their new theme park, Wheeler World, where it's all mud. That would be fun!
Meanwhile, Abby had stumbled upon a good-looking and interesting guy she was looking forward to seeing more of. Sadly, it's the son of Bob and June Wheeler, and you can really know that he's cursed with everything being destroyed, from the restaurant burning down to Abby suffering an allergic reaction after their dinner date. So, Abby broke things off with him.
"A Few Good Hens" was an exceptional episode that focused mostly on the courtroom (I would love to see more of that!). The Wheelers bring me so much joy—just seeing them always puts a smile on my face! The writing in this episode was really enjoyable, and the way the characters developed was equally impressive! If there is another season, they really need to bring them back again. Please!!
Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
