Fox Fall Lineup: Animal Control Moves to Sundays as Game Shows Dominate

Fox’s fall schedule is serving more game shows than scripted drama — but with a Baywatch revival and a relocated Animal Control, there’s just enough chaos to keep things fun.

Fox on Monday became the third broadcast network (following CBS and NBC) to unveil its fall schedule.

Once again, the lineup will feature just four hours of scripted entertainment and only three live-action series. Animal Control is moving to Sundays, where it will now air after The Simpsons. New Tuesday dramas Best Medicine and Doc round out the live-action slate. The network’s other scripted returnees are animated comedies Universal Basic Guys and Grimbsburg.

Otherwise, the fall schedule is a carbon copy of last year’s. Celebrity Name That Tune and Celebrity Weakest Link stay put on Mondays, The Floor and 99 to Beat remain on Wednesdays, and Hell's Kitchen and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test continue to anchor Thursdays.

Looking ahead to midseason, Fox will launch its Baywatch sequel series in January, with Stephen Amell starring as Hobie Buchannon. Also on deck for later in the season are Stephen Fry–led espionage thriller The Interrogator, new seasons of Memory of a Killer and Murder in a Small Town, and returning animated staples American Dad!, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and Krapopolis.

A dozen additional unscripted series are still awaiting premiere dates, including The Masked Singer — staying at one cycle per season for a second straight year — and the long-delayed fourth season of Crime Scene Kitchen, whose most recent run aired in December 2024.
