Episode 4 of Gone delivers another compelling chapter, balancing a gripping murder investigation with thoughtful character development. As the case surrounding Sarah Polly's death takes an unexpected turn, the series continues to blur the line between truth and deception, making it increasingly difficult to determine who can be trusted.
The biggest breakthrough comes when DS Annie and her team uncover new evidence that completely reshapes the timeline of Sarah's disappearance. The discovery shatters Michael's alibi, leading to his arrest and a tense interrogation. Yet despite the mounting suspicion, Michael remains composed, raising just enough doubt to keep viewers questioning whether he's truly guilty or simply caught in circumstances beyond his control.
Away from the investigation, the episode digs deeper into its characters. Family secrets continue to surface as Alana struggles to protect her parents' past, while suspicion begins shifting toward other key figures connected to the case.
