With new revelations about Victoria Burkeman's traumatic past and a shocking betrayal within the police force, the series continues to deliver an unsettling blend of psychological drama and mystery.
The episode opens with Victoria reflecting on revenge before shifting back to the present, where investigators identify her through hospital CCTV footage. As DCI Kilburn, DI Stanley, and Dr. Sophia Craven dig deeper into Victoria's past, disturbing details emerge about years of abuse and trauma. Sophia's unwavering belief in her former patient adds emotional weight, reinforcing that Victoria's story is far more complicated than anyone first believed.
The biggest surprise comes when Jeanette uncovers troubling secrets about her trusted partner, Lou Stanley.
